I just can't picture Shep and Liara dropping off the radar completly even though they deserve some peace once and for all...they would get restless. I also think Liara would want to help with the rebuilding process on Thessia, that's why I can't see her giving up the Shadowbroker thing indefinitely (maybe after some years).

On a side note I'm now kind of wondering whether that archaeologist that taught Liara to play the piano made it. If she died that kind of makes that scene in the Citadel DLC a bit sadder than it already is.

I have no idea how many prothean experts exist in the ME universe, but I'd imagine it's possible that the asari goverment send her to the crucible project.

I still feel like there isn't enough femshep+Liara art here.

Who plays males anyway?

Well, after talking with Mordokai I found his Photobucket, interesting stuff on there, Operative, you might wanna check it out. I'm not going to link it because I hasn't actually asked Mordokai if he thinks i should but I'll tell you about it anyway.

And the silence proves how many people died due to the extreme facepalm that was force upon them by my head canon,

*pats on the head*

There, there, it's not so bad :) Sure, your headcanon may be somewhat on a wild side(please don't take this as an insult, since it's not meant as one), but for a while, Indoctrination Theory sounded plausible as well. I had quite some fun reading your thoughts and it actually gave me something to think about. So don't be too hard on yourself... I've read enough fanfiction to tell you there are some even wilder ideas out there.

Photobucket is free, reliable and easy to use. I think you would like it.

Everything you saw there has been posted in this topic already :) Sorry, but I'm not making the link to mine public. There's a lot of stuff up there and new one keeps getting added... I don't want everybody to know that much about me.

Call me paranoid :P

Well thanks, I've heard about the indoctrination theory, but I then learnt that then i learnt that apparently the Leviathan DLC disproves it, I still haven't got it yet, so i never bothered to look into it any more than seeing a couple of 2 hour long documentaries on youtube and thinking "Ha nope, not sitting here for 2 hours to watch something that's been proved wrong" So if you think my cannon is as on par with that i might have to go and get my popcorn and watch it. Thanks again for the pat on the head though  :). Lastly (on this part) I read you're first FanFic, (I'll PM you later after I've finished reading it) and so if you think that my head cannon could lead to anything, please feel free to use my insanity.

It may be free, I've got imgur as you may know from my previous posts, but the trouble with Imgur is that it doesn't allow explicit material, and looking through yours i see you don't have anything explicit really, maybe a bit revealing, but nothing explicit. So does Photobucket allow the kind of stuff that I have?

Lastly I wasn't planing on reposting anything, rather just drawing it to people attention, and I also understand that you when you say "I don't want everybody to know that much about me" and so if you would like I can edit my post.

I think they would be ok with softcore. Nothing too graphic though. I did some googling and found this. Hope it's of any help to you.

Well the site that was suggest on that page is currently for sale and so I can't use it. So I might just make another imgur account or a Photobucket and see how long my stuff lasts up there, before my account gets locked.

Eh, I'll go ahead and admit that my earlier post was a little cynical(had a long day). I'll revise my opinion(s) on the matter.

Mordokai said:

I'm actually with Han on this one. I think Liara would quite gladly drop the SB routine after the war. Sure, she would use her network to do as much good as possible, but after a few years(or hell, a decade, it's not like that's a lot of time for her), I just can't see her hanging on to it anymore. Like you said, the previous two Shadow Brokers met with untimely and violent end and I think this is pretty much the only way to attain the mantle. Liara is smart enough to know that and I believe the prospect of knowing you're living on borrowed time isn't appealing one.

OK, I'll acquiesce to your assertion that Liara would be smart enough to walk away if things did indeed get too hairy(probably in the same "spectacular fashion" when she escaped from TIM's forces on Hagalaz), and she may even give the mantle over to Feron. However, I still don't see her quitting the intelligence trade altogether. I'm also going to stick to my assertion that she won't quit being the SB until the Galaxy(and Thessia) is greatly on it's way to being rebuilt. Again, I can't help but think(and feel) that she will feel a compulsion to help those in need during reconstruction. After that? Well, I guess i could see her moving on to something else, but i still don't see her walking away from the intelligence business completely for the rest of her life.

Also, unlike yourself, I believe she lets it show she really isn't enjoying her new position all that much. There are some lines throughout the third game which let me believe that. Sure, the mysteries of the Protheans may not be that many, thanks to Javik(also, he was kinda ahole, which I think damped her enthusiasm on his people), but she is young... she has upwards nine centuries before her. That's a lot of time and like you said, she is driven. It's a big galaxy out there... lot of interest spheres to explore. She may write a book, she may go into academia... hell, she may learn how to dance the exotic dance for her commander :P

I don't really see her hating her position as Shadow Broker in ME3. Rather, I think she hates not having any time to relax. So, I guess I can definitely see her wanting to take some time off after the Reaper War and when everything is almost back to normal. I could also see her 'retiring' of sorts so she and Shepard can settle down for a while(she is only 109, so she's got quite a while to pursue another career after Shepard passes and her children are old enough to live on their own). I don't see her becoming a house wife per se, she'll want to do something that's fulfilling in some way. I can see her becoming a history instructor of sorts at an academy on Thessia, with a focus on archaeology.

Heh, I can also see Javik coming in to help her..."instruct." (Liara: "This manuscript shows Athame teaching our ancestors mathematics." Javik: "Well, as I said before, you couldn't count higher than your toes. We took pity: *Liara gives Javik a steady glare*) After all, they still need to complete their book.

I actually haven't come up with a solid head canon for what happens in the post war yet. I've batted around a few ideas in threads like this one, but beyond giving it some thought while posting I haven't really thought much about where all the characters (or galactic civilization) ends up. Part of that is not knowing yet whether the next game is a sequel or something else, or whether there will be returning characters. A sequel might have the potential to annihilate head canon.

On that note *if* the next game is a sequel and set sometime within say, 800 years of the Shepard trilogy, I'm kind of hoping that Liara returns. Not as a squadmate, but in a cameo. I think it might be interesting to run into Matriarch Liara, and if Liara is still the Shadow Broker regardless of when in the timeline is set, she should probably fit into the story somewhere. Anything of galactic importance should also be important to the Shadow Broker. Also, the reaction on the BSN would be amusing.  B)

Of course that all goes out the airlock if Liara is no longer the SB, the timeline is set well after her natural lifespan, the game is set well outside Citadel space.

Not meaning to start a flame war, but I'm almost certain that at one of the gaming events last year (like E3 but not) Bioware held a panel and the community could ask questions, this is where they revealed the new mako, also in the panel I thought they said that it was going to take take place along side and during Sheps timeline. Obviously i could be completely wrong but it just what I think i remember

I know this isn't the place to ask seen as it's Liara's page but i figured that it wont hurt (I think)

I've got enough money to get either Omega or Leviathan, which one? I've got all the rest of the DLCs so they're not a problem

I think I'm probably the minority here but I prefer Omega. I like Aria and my choices did matter (at least somewhat). In Leviathan, I can choose whatever and the end will be the very same (on the other hand, Liara has some funny lines in Leviathan :D ).

Is there anything major in Omega then? I was under the impression that as soon as Omega was liberated Shep jumps in a shuttle and leaves, is this not the case?

Nothing major. But Aria can change according to your actions and conversations with her throughout the DLC (without resorting to a "one dialogue choice determines all" scenario)...that was well done, imo. And you can of course decide Petrovsky's fate.

Oh Ok I get you, I also saw a vid somewhere that there is a special bonus thingy bit if your an engineer, so that might add some extra gameplay, argh now i'm back to square one though, You've made a strong argument for Omega but i trust mike as he's helped me in the past, Obviously he hasn't give a reason, so i'm now leaning towards Omega but still, "I need to think, give some time"
