ok I have an honest question. I dont know if this was posted in the past but why do you romance liara? I have tried in the past and I just cant do it for some reason but what makes here your number 1 all time favorite LI in the series. I just want to know people opinion on it. also I figured I would give all of us here a topic to talk about at least for a little bit ha ha

Normal gameplay I just play however I want, but if I did a Shepard based on myself then Liara is my kinda woman.

She is my favorite character. She has the most complete romance arc and the best overall imo. I also like that their relationship had experienced its ups and downs, which makes the romance more meaningful. The chemistry between Jennifer Hale and Ali Hillis is fantastic. Of course, I also found her physically attractive once I met her on Therum

I fell for her in the first game. She was the shy, socially awkward, bookish type, but that didn't mean she's weak or anything.  That she was a smokin' hot babe with blue 'skin' didn't hurt either. And as Barquiel says, their relationship having their ups and downs, just made it more poignant over the trilogy.

Well for me, being late to the party, im used to staring at several hundred dollar resale lithographs on ebay that are waaaaaaaaay out of my price range.

Also that statue was like $300 and way out of a decent price range.. so from that regard, i think $50 is pretty tolerable.

When you put it that way, I guess it's a retentively decent price, not going to say that if I had $50 floating around I'd spend it on the lithography though, there are more pressing things that I need to get for my Uni course unfortunately

I found this during browsing Liara's tumblr and I'm gonna post it here for future use, because I just know it's gonna come handy in the future. Besides, well said, random stranger from the internet!

 

 

I am very tired of hearing about Liara’s reactions after Priority: Thessia. That she did not show enough emotion or whatever you were looking for. I mean at one point I was extremely upset at Liara for her behavior through ME2 and ME3. But then I started to think more than I probably should.

I MEAN If one of your friend’s parents die, you feel bad, but you don’t know what that feels like unless your parents died too. You can’t truly understand what that loss feels like so you’ll never be able to do or say the proper thing about it.

Yes Liara didn’t react like Shepard or Garrus did when Palaven and Earth were under attack.

And yes it is A TAD BIT frustrating that she doesn’t really emotionally connect to you like you want her too. [Like you want her to hop on your dick as soon as you land on Mars? Uh no. Slow down there partner.]

BUT LIARA T’SONI IS NOT SOME BLUE CUSHION FOR YOU TO DEMAND AFFECTIONS FROM. [Sometimes]

She was attacked by geth and trapped in a prothean bubble not knowing if ANYONE would realize she was stuck.

She watched her mother die, and in some play throughs, had a hand in it. SHE WATCHED SHEPARD DIE.

She challenge the Shadow Broker and the Collectors for Shepard’s broken and nearly destroyed body on the hopes that Cerberus would pull a fancy wand from the Illusive man’s bowels and bring her or him back. IN THE PROCESS SHE LOST SOMEONE WHO SACRIFICED THEIR LIFE TO SAVE HER… AGAIN.

She grieved for two years for someone she loved and they SUDDENLY came back to life. ( Tell me how many of your loved ones have done that? None? Alright then. ).

SHE TOOK DOWN THE SHADOW BROKER, WITH OR WITHOUT SHEPARD’S HELP. Trust that if you didn’t do the LoTSB DLC Liara has 900% every RIGHT to be cold. So don’t even.

Now tell me if you experienced all of that at an age where you’re basically considered “a child”, that you would come out happy and innocent and a BAG OF ****** RAINBOWS READY TO **** ANY SHEPARD THAT CROSSED YOUR DAMN PATH.

You wouldn’t, and neither will Liara.

So, sorry she didn’t cry about Earth or Palaven like some people wanted her too, and sorry she didn’t hug you until like… NOT SOON ENOUGH. But stop.

STOPPPPP.

Oh and you might say “But I didn’t romance Liara and she was still…” blah blah blah. If you complain about Liara when you’re not romancing her.

Try to remember that one time you had an  “I think I’m in love with you crush” and wasn’t even noticed through out that WHOLE TIME PERIOD. If you didn’t get a little cold after that, then wow I wish I was you.

BUT MY POINT IS:

LIARA T’SONI IS GREAT. IDC IF YOU DIDN’T ROMANCE HER. IDC IF YOU HATE HER. BUT THERE IS A REASON WHY SHE IS THE WAY SHE IS, AND NOT THE WAY YOU WANT HER TO BE.

I've recently noticed something in Liara's behavior during and after Thessia. 

First, she can't believe it's happening. Then she picks herself up and pushes to the temple with hope that it holds the key to defeating the Reapers and saving her people. I can relate to that.

That's when things get weird for me. After Kai Leng escapes with the data and Shepard listens to asari soldiers dying, when all the hope is seemingly lost, she doesn't break and tries to comfort Shepard. I would've expected it to be vice versa. That continues on the ship when she says that no one could've predicted Cerberus getting there first. At that point I expect her to cope with that initial grief strike, but then she proceeds to almost attack Javik. 

How do you justify her sudden emotional changes?

Basic details - Name - Kira (bad at names so I just stole Asarimaniac's)/ Class - Adept level 43/ Rich-ish/ Paragon/ Uses my modified Jane shep head morph and so i've included that in the Zip 

 

Plot choices -  ME1 - Saved Kaidan, Wrex and Kirrahe - Didn't scan the keepers or get the Asari writings - romanced Liara (obviously) - "charmed" Conrad (can't rememberer what I did) - Saved all of Zhu's hope Including Shiala - released the Rachni queen -  Killed EDI (did the Luna base rogue VI mission) - Saved the Council and chose Anderson

                       ME2 - Everyone survived the Mission (all Loyal) - Tali found not guilty - Reinstated as a Spectre - Shot Conrad in the foot - killed the heretics - Saved Mealons data - Jacob's dad committed suicide - saved Sammara  - Kept Kassumi's greybox - Completed all DLC as a paragon - But the main story as Renegade - Romance Liara again in LotSB - Also was Loyal (duh) - Got and saved all the fish and the hamster - Destroyed the Collector base

                       ME3 - Gibbed it a little and so has all the SB Intel avalible at Glyph, also all armour and "Debug armour" available -  Space hamster caught - all of the N7 missions up to that point are done (I think)

 

Lastly I have all the ME3 DLC apart from Leviathan and Omega, so I think you need the ones that i have at least, sorry if that means you can't use it
