Maybe they're designed for asari and therefore are asari blue, what I'm wondering is why the second manikin has nothing on it.
what happens if you leave Liara behind on the Noveria missions, I would do it myself but I hate the ME1 engine and so can't face doing it again just to see if anything different happens

Nothing changes. Her dialogue with Aethyta in ME3 will change very slightly if she was there when Benezia died or not.
If Liara isn't with you when you to talk to Giana Parasini, once you first get to Noveria, one of your squad will ask you if you shouldn't tell/bring Liara with you.
In ME3 a little dialogue about Benezia will change when she talks to Aethyta. That's about it.

Thanks guys, they really didn't add much dialogue difference it seems... if only Bioware learn't from their mistakes and improved in ME3, it might not have been so bad

What's surprising is the player can have a playthrough in ME1 with Kirrahe never meeting Garrus and Liara, but when Garrus and Liara are taken to Sur'Kesh, the 3 of them talk like they have met
Anyone reading Mass Effect fanfics?
If you haven't read 'Hard choices' - 'The aftermath' - 'A family vacation' then I suggest you do I'm currently reading Hard choices because I accidentally red the aftermath first, however I shall be reading them all as they are part of a trilogy I believe. They're all by 'TattooHero' and they are 'The aftermath is really good, so I hope that the other two live up to it.

I wish I didn't read the comment section for that. "Asari aren't really female. They are monogendered."
I'm not sure why so many fans get confused by the word monogendered. Do schools no longer teach that the prefix mono means one or single? The Asari are of a single gender, and that gender is female.

Not recently. But Sharrukin's are probably the best that I've read. He's also a writer, so the quality is a bit above what you usually find in fanfiction. All are from Liara's POV:
The Illium Years is my favorite of the bunch, because it covers Liara's transition from archaeologist to information broker, and the later feud with the Shadow Broker. It perfectly fills in the how & why Liara put together the nuts & bolts of a private intelligence organization, and also demonstrates how Bioware missed an opportunity for by not having it be the focus of one of the books. On other hand Sharrukin probably handles the subject much better than Bioware would.
Please Bioware,.. Liara in ME4 or at least keep the asari in ME4!!

Yeah that's my favourite FanFic, that's for sure. He did an excellent job of bringing the series together in a 'plausible' way.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's just the trolls coming out of the woodwork whenever there'a an Asari topic. Just use this. They're just a vocal minority according to the stats.
Of course the Asari will be in the next game, like they say "everyone loves the Asari."
