Thats it I hate banshees in multiplayer, happily doing my thing as a NovaGuard then out of nowhere comes BANSHEEs and everytime I try and charge one it just picks me up and stabs me, argh. I never thought I'd get annoyed at something in ME MP but this really does annoy me, especially when your 'Teammates' don't even try and knock you out of the Banshee's grip.
Yeah I swear they have a thing for me too. I know I'm cute and all, but I wish they would go after someone else once in while. ![]()
I was always told they can't grab you on a ramp, but I got grabbed by one whilst on a ramp a couple of days ago. I was like "WTF just happened!?" All I can think of is, when she hit me (I was playing the Valkyrie
) she knocked me on the same 'level' as her.
But as for Charging one you do have to be careful and know when they're primed for a sync kill. The worst though is when they teleport through a wall and get ya'. lol
That's why I like playing the Juggy every now and again.
And to stay on topic ..

Sorry for not explaining properly: I'm just saying that if you confront Benezia without Liara, the conversation with L after would be incredibly awkward. \If it were me, I would insist on coming to the confrontation, no matter who it was. Although I've never had to fight my own mother for the sake of the galaxy (thankfully) so who knows what I would actually do?
Thanks for responding.
====================
And on another note...
I just finished another ME1 playthrough, and noticed some things that helped me piece together some details about Liara's childhood.
Shiala tells us that she's been studying with Benezia for the better part of two centuries - which would mean that Benezia was teaching disciples while Liara was growing up. In ME3, Aethyta tells us they were together for ~ 100 years, and we know that Liara never knew her while growing up.
So, here is an approximate timeline:
~ 1977 - Benezia and Aethyta become bondmates
> 1983 - Shiala starts studying with Benezia
2077 - Liara is born, Benezia and Aethyta split (?)
~ 2183 - Benezia indoctrinated and killed, Shiala rescued from a close encounter with the Thorian, spends the rest of the Trilogy helping Zhu's Hope
Of course, we don't know anything about any of the other disciples, only Shiala.

One fanfic I read suggested that one of the reasons Benezia left Aethyta was so she could raise a child on her own. Liara being her first and only child, whereas Aethyta already had kids of her own. This is just an assumption, but I like to 'canon' it for my Liara/Sheps.
As for the Acolytes of Benezia I assume they were the Commando's you encounter at Noveria. Of course not all of her acolytes would've been Commando's (even Tevos said she had many followers) before she hooked up with Saren.
Shiala said she gave them a choice whether to follow her in her plan or not, again I'm assuming, but she would've taken mainly Commando's with her for several reasons. To show her Matriarch status, personal escort/bodyguard etcetera. Not to mention a handy Black Ops type strike force if necessary.
Gotta' love those leathers. ![]()

I'm kinda considering not to romance her anymore.
It's just after ME1 Shep dies and she mourns her for 2 years.
And then Shep comes back... only to die in ME3.
Poor Liara. To mourn your loved one twice!!

Is the pick i quoted a tex mod (TPF) or is it just art? I'd personally really like it if Liara could wear that in game

This should be of great help to you. Learn the patterns and you've won half the battle already.
Then you just have to deal with lag and horrible teammates... can't help you there, I'm afraid.
Oh and... use the High Lord Claymore, because it's gut ![]()

I believe Liara's strong enough to deal with that kind of pain. Doesn't mean I like doing it to her, but the above quote sums it up... she experienced love, probably once in a lifetime kind of it and she is better and stronger because of it. Given the nature of human/asari relationship, she knew this was coming sooner or later. Sadly, it came sooner. But that's one reason why I like the Shepard/Liara romance... it enables Liara's growth and makes her stronger and better character/person because of it.
My Shepard wanted Liara to move on after her death, find a new bondmate, be happy. Whatever afterlife awaited them, she knew they would meet again. Mourn her... don't forget her... but don't let her be an anchor for Liara. Never that.
Alternatively, just pick high EMS Destroy... problems solved ![]()

Sorry mate, but I'm not sure. There's so much fan art and mods these days that I can't be certain. I found these as well, but again I'm not sure.
I assume you've tried the Nexus Mods thing.
Anyway I hope you find it.

Quite sure it is not a screenshot (saw it quite some time ago), so it is unlikely you'll find a tpf for that specific outfit, but i think someone mentioned a asari-commando-armor for Liara mod/tpf, so you may find something similar. Is the pick i quoted a tex mod (TPF) or is it just art?

It is actually, i just searched Liara Commando on the nexus mods, and i got this <CLICKY> and the last picture is the armour I was talking about. Nice, now I can have this in game, Thanks for pointing it out! Rane and N172

Only if Shepard chooses Control or Synthesis. Shepard survives High EMS Destroy.
I agree that it is awful if Liara has to go through mourning Shepard twice. One more reason to pick Destroy! ![]()

Now, I'll be the first one to admit that Liara looks damn fine naked, but I've always been amazed at how sexy she looks even when fully clothed. I think her femme fatale image that she got in second game really became her.

Hey guys!
It's been a few years since I was last 'here'. Nice to see the place is still alive. I can definitely smell the blue... *sniff*
Anyway, I just came here to say that if 'Photographer on the Citadel' means anything (positive) to you, there's finally something new at the usual spot.
Otherwise, carry on with the Liara worship...

I never really thought it, but it makes sense that Benezia's Commandos were some of her other acolytes that had been indoctrinated.
Leathers. Yummy.
It looks to me from the above images that Liara could really pull off Disco
She was a much better dancer in ME1 than in ME3. Maybe Shepard rubbed off on her. ![]()

The pink lips and freckles were never quite right for her. Love the darker colors there.
And I agree - she's much hotter fully dressed in clothes that fit than certain other characters who... oh, nevermind.
@Pineappletree - thanks for the linky and the new goodies. Extra helpings of yummy.

Can't believe I haven't seen this thread before.
My Shepard's heart beats bright Asari blue. From my first pay through to the one I am currently doing. Liara is my beau. And every progression of her character just pulls me in more. Even that dark side she starts to develop in ME2.
