Illium was one of my favourite hub worlds in the entire series It felt really alive and vibrant. Citadel in the third game was really well done... but for all the details and everything, I still loved Illium more. It felt, for the lack of better word... organic.

 

Seeing Armali would be nice, I agree. As a bonus point, depending on time frame of the game, it would be perfect time and place to put an easter egg concerning Liara. Something as obvious as her statue, or something much more subtle, like a page from her journal, with no signature, but something that would let people who have played a previous trilogy know what they're dealing with.

 

With the Citadel DLC, I ended up having more fun on the Citadel. I like hubs with more than just shopping around. Altho', one of my favorite missions was on Illium...

And yes, I'm talking about joining that Krogan with that Asari. What a tragic love... But also very nice.

 

Illium had great dialogues while we were running around, so I really hope in the next game they mix a bit of small side quests, 3rd-party dialogues so our character can stalk, and a small assorted things to do all around cities you visit.

With the Citadel DLC the Silversun Strip was probably my favorite urban area in the Mass Effect universe. It was jam packed with atmosphere. Nos Astra was probably my favorite before DLC however. I'd love to see Armali rendered as much detail as the SIlversun Strip.

Agreed.Most fun planet in ME2.I really wished for a giant expansion on that planet.

Ya know to walk the streets with Liara and shot at stores and stuff.

Bunch a quests would be nice.May be to exterminate some bandits and stuff.

Yeah Ilium was my favourite hub world as well. When I first played it I was blown away by the whole thing and was loving the city background with the sky cars zipping around.  It had that Star Wars feel/touch.

 

And then with the Shadow Broker DLC you got the sky car chase with Vasir. Awesome.

Long time indeed! Sorry for the late reply, totally forgot I had posted here.

 

TBH I'm not gaming much lately (not just ME, anything), not least because Liara demands a considerable chunk of my free PC time.

And you do not contradict the blue godess, obviously! *throws another handful of polygons and a half-finished texture on the pile of offerings*

Okay, first post in a BioWare forum in months is about how someone got in trouble for NSFW pics and someone giving stupid guff about the one who ratted them out.

 

It's kind of odd though. First off, not going to say anything bad about either poster in general. The pic-poster is just showing their appreciation for Liara, and the reporter kind of had the right to be stressed, considering what would happen if they were browsing a suddenly NSFW site that shouldn't be, in an environment that's bad for NSFW, like, oh, W. :-P Secondly, some people have a very idealized view of Liara in this thread and in the groups I used to frequent. Like they feel dirty looking at her like that or something. (Ironically this is an actual issue I myself have with Merrill as of the end of Dragon Age 2. Even after seeing her in her nightie in the middle of the game!) Somehow I might have broken free of that view, and I can see the 'human' flaws that Liara has and also the idea that she sneaks up to Shepard's cabin more than we see in ME3 makes more sense than not, tell you the truth. But I can't fault it, I mean, she's Liara, the woman most of us simultaneously want to be and be with.
