Starbuck what do you hear?
Running water.
Yeah, that probably plays a part of it as well. Though she does seem to accept EDI's explanation easily... she probably realizes EDI is right.
On a different note, what does it say about the character when people are still making a new artwork three years after the trilogy has ended?
Bioware did something right with Liara, that's for sure.
Although I'd change a few things if I could, I think overall she was one of Bioware's better characters.
Hey guys, I'm new here and didn't have time to follow up all the 2254 pages of this topic.
I'm sure somebody might have already asked this here but why do some people insist in claiming that Liara is a "stalker"? What are their evidences?
It really makes me want to kick them hard on the quads.

Well, being the Shadow Broker, stalking is in her job description. Other than that they are just jelly.
*I have never romanced anyone else so I have no idea how Liara fares as a friend.
Well as for someone who has yet to romance the blue asari I can somewhat call her a stalker because if unromanced she gets ur dead body gives it to Cerberus and keeps ur dog tags without telling ur romance option or the alliance(this is still unclear since I do think Anderson and hackett knew she took sheps body I think it's quite hinted at the fact both don't seem surprised by shep being alive) I mean I get it that she didn't want to tell anyone cuz there might be a slight chance it fails but I mean doesn't they LI atleast deserve to get the dog tags of Shepard and not liara? I actually used to hate liara due to her being pushed as the canon LI but surprisingly she grew on me as a friend and yes she can be obsessive over unromanced shep but I take it as a quirk and find her cuteHey guys, I'm new here and didn't have time to follow up all the 2254 pages of this topic.

Thus, your opinion (joking or otherwise) is invalid. Liara's behavior is incredibly unhealthy. It's painfully clear that Bioware was pushing her as the "canon" LI while throwing the other LIs under the bus, at least until Citadel.
I also don't like how they pushed Garrus as your best friend (as much as I like the guy) so don't accuse me of playing favorites.
Ah okay. I see your point guys. Thanks for the clarification.
Well, I never did not romance Liara so for me this behavior of hers always made sense and actually is pretty great to have your LI being such important piece in your history.
But even if I had not romanced her I would probably think she is a very good friend. She can love you in secret but she doesn't bother you with that. Even as a LI she was always concerned in "not putting pressure on you" and I lost count of how many times I had to say to her that I wanted her more than friends (what made me a little mad with the writers).
So I don't know, maybe you're right and she was really meant to be Shepard's LI or maybe not. Each one may interpret it different, but it doesn't make her a stalker.

That was a joke.
Still, beside ME1 where she throws at you, in the other games I have not noticed her "moves" toward Shep who was romancing other characters.
Also, it is obvious that she is the canon LI in BW eyes, her comics where she rescues Shep's corpse and her romance time/dialogue is the longest in the trilogy. So this is perhaps where her "stalkiness" derivatives from.

I see stuff like this...
Also helps that Sam isn't a creepy stalker like Liara.
Plus, considering Liara has that whole 'Shadowbroker' thing going on...
And I'm like...

Yeah, couldn't help myself.
That was a joke.

Credit where credit's due, she doesn't just come up to you and say "hey break up with so-and-so and be my bae kthnx".
However, like Garrus, she was pushed onto you as your other best friend. I'm sure that there are some who feel cheated* that it was Liara who came up and checked on them multiple times over their chosen LI or some other squadmate they may have had a stronger bond with. As for not finding her behavior unhealthy, ehhh... To me, Liara worships the ground Shepard walks on and doesn't seem to have much of a character outside of her relationship (romanced or not) with Shepard.
Anyway, that's my response. Carry on with the Liara-loving.
*maybe cheated isn't exactly the right word but I don't talk English good-like so I got nothin' else.

Well then my opinion might be "more" valid, I did Romance Traynor back when I just got my hands on ME3 (yes I started from the end, I played the hole game without having played the first two and only then I went back and played them in order ), and I never considered Liara's behavior weird or bad or even like she was a Stalker.
I do know that her dialogues were by far the best of all the LI (I did see the videos about the others LI)...but that is just my opinion ![]()
Poor Li.In the beginning of ME2 Shep dies. She mourns for two years.
And then Shep appears again. And dies. What that did to her??Poor Li.
In Mars, when we (sheps) first see her in ME3 I found she acted a little cold. Did you guys feel the same?
I like to think she was or embarrassed by the presence of other people or with some defense mechanism since shep dies/come back/go "arrested"/come back/and might die again.
Or she was kinda afraid of something might have changed between them, what makes sense and does not make sense at the same time.
It makes sense when she asks later if we should continue the romance and that she was concerned about it.
And it doesn't make sense because the way shep looks and talks to her in Mars is pretty obvious to me.
Anyway, I wish we could've seen more of Shep/Liara moments..
Back to the top!!!Do not forget the most faithful, most beutiful blue girl who saved Shep
from Collectors!!!
