That sickness is very uncommon, the possibilities of her having a daughter like that is nearly impossible. And she would have to (beside carrying the bad gene) mate with another asari for that to happen.

I would say Samara was a very unlucky woman, and that gene has to be very strong in her

I thought that Samara said that it's a very rare condition, even among the pureblood, so I think that it's very unlikely that Liara would have to kill her own daughter(s). But ofc 'cause my Shepard is going to have those babies with her, there is no such problem.

The hypothetical children of Liara and Shepard wouldn't be pureblood and so wouldn't be Ardat Yakshi

If she had children with another Asari, there'd be a risk but I don't think it would be a high one. Ardat Yakshi are rare.

Looking at the ME wiki (grain of salt, here you go) it states that Ardat-Yakshi are the product of asari Purebloods.  With another asari Pureblood it is a possibility, but not a certainty.  Liara is one of the few squadmates that would be viable for a 4th game and if set far enough into the future, it would be interesting to have Liara’s Ardat-Yakshi daughter as a squadmate in said 4th game.  If multiplayer, then play as Liara’s Ardat-Yakshi daughter.

What are the chances that Liara's children will be Ardat-Yakshi if she has children with Shepard? 0%, it that simple.

The only way her children would become Ardat-Yakshi is if she mated with another Asari and even then it is very rare, and it is not 100 % guaranteed that they would be Ardat-Yakshi. Besides if it was 100% (or even very common) then how could the Asari population ever grow and evolve into a space-faring society before they came into contact with other species? Ardat-Yakshi only occur with Pureblood Asari mating and, as said, is very rare.

So to summarise: Liara + Shepard = 0% of A-Y, Liara + Another Asari = Possible, but very rare, Liara + Eternity = "Eternity Embraced". (Sorry, could not resist)

So as The Judoon (an alien species from Doctor Who [British Sci-Fi series ]) say, "Case Closed".

i was under the impression that it would just have to be one pure blood not both parents
how do we know Samara mated with another Asari, or even if she did, if the other one was a Pure Blood too,
and i know it is very uncommon because the gean is resessive but there is alway the possiblity

it would be like a person with Blond hair, had kids with a person with Black hair
Blond is the resessive but you would still have the 25% chance of haveing a kids with Blond hair

that was just my though prosess

and you cant douht that it was a good question

I likes her asari scientist outfit, it suited her well, it would be nice if she wore it again casually on the ship.
It would bring a certain sense of nostalgia back

I always understood that ardat-yakshi condititon occured only among the pure blood (and even then it's very rare), so I guess since Samara's daughters are all ardat-yakshi, her partner had to be an asari. I'm not sure if a daughter of a pure blood asari and some other species can be an ardat-yakshi, but for some reason I always thought that the child has to be a pure blood. Please correct me if I'm wrong, this is just how I always understood this.

Yeah it's all about the PR and marketing. It's just that.... ugh... the statue is just aweful.

I think a lot of people are missing the point of that statue.

It's a Bishoujo statue; Kotobukiya specializes in that stuff; BioWare knew exactly what it was getting into when they partnered with them. It's supposed to be oversexualized.

It's not my cup of tea either, but we can all stop acting like somehow BioWare is ruining Liara forever...
