Secnce we know Laira is ALSO a Pure Blood, What is the chance Laira's childern will also be Artac yacshe(spell)
and in a further extent, will Laria have to kill her own Childern, Too

Most likely has been answered by now but I haven't had time to read the 4 pages between this post and mine so I'll just post my opinion: The entire syndrome only occurs within purebloods. Meaning both the mother AND daughter have to be purebloods. Since Shepard is no asari, their children would not be pureblooded and so there's no risk of them being an ardat-yakshi.

The beef I have with this statue isn't the boob size, or even her face (although I agree, it doesn't look like Liara's face).  It's that Liara's the em-effing Shadow Broker, a biotic badass, and part of a team of galactic heroes.

The pose she's in, crushing her boobs together, wearing something that gives her ******...that is more "teehee, wish I were wearing a schoolgirl kilt so I could give you a better upskirt shot!"  Liara has warmth and softness in her personality, but I don't recall her using her sexuality as a tool. This pose still feels completely out of character for her, UNLESS she were trying to con some meathead into giving her information.  But again, she's the Shadow Broker.  She has legions of agents and informants to do that kind of grunt work for her.

This is absolutely not to say one cannot be coquettish and competent at the sametime.  I'm just saying that to me, the pose diminishes her character further than should be necessary to have the kind of ****** appeal they're going for here.  It doesn't zomg-ruin-the-game or anything, but it does make me roll my eyes, and it does keep me from shelling out money.

Agreed on all points, but oh well... that's the kind of buyer that style of statue is targeting. I see that stuff posted on Kotaku all the time.

But I'm actually interested in what Casey said in that last tweet... about having more merch for different tastes. Wonder what's in the works.

What's this? There must be another Liara statue being made by Kotobukiya, one that we're not aware of yet. Casey simply spoke out of turn, remembering only now that it hasn't been announced yet.

I see why people hate this kind of statue of Liara but you know Kotobukiya and their Bishoujo line is like that - the anime style of non-anime characters.

I will wait for the final product and will decide if I will buy this. Their statues are usually very high quality ones with many details and yeah they all have big boobs! 

I hope there will be some new line of quality ME figures or statues and it would be really cool if they would look exactly like in the game...

Maybe they should just get a new company to make a Liara statue. Getting some old dude who's a virgin living in his parents' basement who likes sculpting huge boobs and ignoring the "essence" of a character's personality probably wasn't the best idea when wanting to get a Liara statue, when if they'd just made one that looks like her in-game they probably would have had fans of the character buying it in droves.

I could look past the Benezia like boobs. But this face is simply hideous.

And no. I do not buy the "It is a different interpertation of her face" arguement. Just because you make a character in a different style does not mean that you give them an ugly baby head.

Casey stated that he has actually visited the Liara thread here. While he did do it to see the response on the new Liara statue. I hope he might have picked up the community's desire to have Liara return to her LOTSB face.

One can only hope.

I personally like anime, I just don't like when things not anime get animed.
Like Liara, for instance, should not be animed.
