Every time I see one of Sunnie's mods, I ask myself the same question....

Why, oh why didn't I invest in a gaming rig back when I had the money?

Because you met Liara faster in ME1 if you bought an Xbox 360?

I went from Xbox 360 to PC....that's the way to go.

Did you even read my post Korkki? I said that is not what I meant. I meant Shepard describes what was going through their mind, how they feel about their love interest, not describe how Shepard chocked to death, shat him or herself, then describe how Shepard suffered 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns, then describe how bits of Shepards body decorated a school or children.

I have to admit that I didn't read it very well at first, so I'm sorry about that, I'm little too tired at the moment and I thought that I had read it but apparently i didn't, and that's why I added that edit there. so I try to put it like this:
After these two long years they are finally back together, So I don't think that it's necessary to go through that again, telling  how Shepard was scared that he'll never see Liara again and that sort of stuff. They are now together and nothing else matters, I think that they should concentrate on that plus of course on uniting the galaxy. Those two years were very difficult for Liara and I'm not sure if she wants to think about those right now. But I see your point though, that is that kind of discussion they most likely will have but later, maybe after this reaper thing is dealt with and they can focus being together and start a normal life, then they can tell each other how they felt that moment.

Edit: And I'm not trying to say that this would be the ultimate truth, this is just my opinion. Maybe if Liara wants know what was going on in Shep's mind when he was floating in space or if Liara wants to tell how she felt when she saw Shep getting spaced, they can discuss about it, but otherwise I'd try to be as subtle as possible with this thing.

Meh, I don't need to mod Liara's costume. I don't need to mod Liara naked. I don't need to change her skin tone. I'll love for who she is, and **** about inconsistencies and prefers behind her back in some random bar.

So, with all that being said, what exactly do you want out of Liara as a independent woman? What do you expect?

The way I RP it, by the end of SB, a bonding ceremony would just be a formality.  They are a couple, both equal and yet independent.  With my Shep, however, there is this little internal struggle in that on the one hand, she likes being Liara’s protector, but on the other hand she realizes that Liara must be her own woman in order to grow as a person.  And as much as she doesn’t want to put Liara in harm’s way, she knows she will have to w/out hesitation. To do otherwise would be insulting and besides, Liara can take care of herself. The woman is a biotic war machine.

As for what I want, within the context of a galactic war, I just want them to be honest w/ each other.  None of this, “we have to put our feelings on hold.”  Just seize every moment possible to be as intimate (emotionally and physically) as they can. And no manly tears for femShep, only something akin to a Willow/Tara kiss from “The Body” will do.

As far as what I expect, a less guarded Shepard as s/he is supposed to be more human in ME3, but ultimately I think Shep will be very much alone.

And thanks to Ophiskc for the sig!  It’s fantastic, and I really do appreciate it.

I'm from Finland so it's about midnight here at the moment, and no, I'm not usually this tired at this time of the evening/night/what ever, but for some reason I am today :P

And if you mean when you say that I'm tired alot, that automated ass-wiping system post couple days back, it was something like 2 am. or something like that back then if I remember correctly  and I'm only human, I tend to get tired late at night :D

Edit: plus claiming that you're tired is always a good excuse when you start to talk nonsense, or when you in some point realize, that you have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm wondering does Tim really knows where the Shadow broker base is if in story line its supposed to happen 2 months after SM, Because Shepard brakes away from Cerberus and the ship needs repaired and almost an overhaul from SM even if you have all upgrades.

just throwing my idea out there so please don't start an argument!

I think TIM knows, just as he knew that Liara took over as the new SB, whoever informed him is unknown

I would say it come from someone aboard the Normandy.  It could be anyone of the following:

Miranda
EDI
Kelly

All of thes send reports to TIM

I'm sorry but that's just not awesome enough. ;)

If you want awesome, go to Garrus. For well thought out, subtle and brilliant plans, go to the greatest Asari in the universe. That said, I'd prefer Liara to come up with a nice plan, rather than just jumping straight into the action like a Krogan. Though if she did so it would be nice if she blamed that on her Krogan ancestor.[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/pinched.png[/smilie]

Nobody said that Liara only has to do smart, she can certainly do both.
We have seen that in Vasir's chase.
Sometimes there is time for careful planning, and somethimes there is time for crashing ships into courtrooms.
And Shepard's trial IS that time!

Dude,The Shadow Broker is downright terrifying.

He knows about Morinth if you switch her.

He knows about Lazarus.

He fricking knows about keije's gray box. Says its valuable even if you erase it. Says even the blank gray box is valuable.

Knows Garrus was archangel.

Knows about Mordin and his work.

Heck he fricking KNOWS ABOUT HARBINGER BEING A REAPER. And about the prothean/collector connection. Even before Shepard does the Suicide Mission.

He even knews the becon was a message and what it does. And Shepard wasn't lying about the visions.
(happens only if LOTSB done before the collector ship mission. )

the only one he does not have any info on is Tali, he can't say any thing about her

But you forgot that he also knows about grunt, and he wants to dicect him if you lose

The SB mentioned about Tali's leadership skills got most of her squad killed on Haestrom.

I would say it is EDI unknowing sending info to TIM, or perhaps tracking devices still remaining on the SR-2.

It cannot be Kelly or Miranda. Both of those are (potentially) dead.

Laugh at what?

@Lizardviking

Guess that would depend on when you did the DLC.  If you go by what would actual timeline, then yes, Kelly and Miri could be dead.

If it was anyone, I think it was the three I listed.  That is my view on it.  <_<

To be fair, it is true.
Tali is a pretty terrible leader, she couldn't keep her squad under controll on Freedom's Progress, so they rushed ahead and got destroyed by a mech.
Also she probably would have died on Haelstorm if Shep didn't show up.

I'm concerned that Liara needs a clearly defined goal (stopping the reapers) to keep her from abusing her power after she becomes the Shadow Broker. She doesn't give Shepard concrete assurance that she can resist temptation.

Her "give me ten minutes and I could start a war" comment is said in a disconcerting tone, also. Thoughts?

But she finishes that statement with "I have a purpose, helping you fight the reapers."  I don't think Liara would ever do that, though.

Yeah that would be out of character imo.
Unless Bioware wants to take that direction as a setup for a future game, I don't think Liara would ever start a Galactic war.

That phrase i took it more as a playful/joke one over Shepards concerns. If she would really have that kind of tendencies i believe she wouldnt say it openly.

She also says that maybe she can turn this whole organization into something better, and i believe she could do that.
Now she's focused in the reapers, after the reapers if she's still the SB she could use that to rebuild the galaxy, and create own technology able to replace the most dangerous reaper one. That could take many decades.

After Shepard dies we dont know, maybe she gets corrupted by the power.
Or the base gets destroyed in ME3 and that was it with the SB network

Yes, but in Tali's defense it was the presence of Cerberus & Shepard that set the quarians on edge. Who knows how it would have turned out had Cerberus not shown up.

i think they have the same amount of time as humans or around it there bodys change over time but they live to be a thousand years.

i wonder how fast asari grow?

I would be hesitant to guess but the asari near the weapons dealer on Illium says she's 60 years old, it's generally accepted that Asari reach maturity at this age (aka the asari equivalent of an 18 year old human) but Samara also said morinth went on the run when she was 40, also Samara says the ardat yakshi syndrome manifests at maturity. So there's a lot of inconsistency there even though 20 years in asari terms would be like a few weeks in human age.

I think it's reasonable to assume Asari still look like children until their 20th - 30th year, no real proof on this though, mostly logical thinking and explanation.

Edit: About Liara: At first I was thinking of romancing Ashley, that's when I figured I could also go with Liara. Was a hard choice but I chose Liara. Never romanced anyone else than Liara on future playthroughs AND never cheated on her, except once to get the ME2 achievement, then reloaded an earlier save:pinched:.
Guess it's true what they say: "Once you go blue you never want to go back!"

The whole adult-thing seems more like a cultural thing rather than a physiological one, liara says she's considered as nothing more than a child in asari culture but she obviously has the looks of an adult in our eyes.
