I think the inconsistencies were intentional to establish liara as being capable of something mant of her fans wouldn't expect.  Liara being with someone else.

This is what makes me think Feron and Liara are more then just friends.  The story doesn't make as much sense otherwise.  I wonder why feron was in the back room instead of out helping Liara when you visit.  I totally see shep walking in on them in me3 during an announced visit.  I think Feron and Liara have a relationship and it'll come out in me3.

Even if you don't romance Liara, she will deny being anything more than friends with Feron if you ask her. Though she doesn't deny being interested in him, she just says it would be inappropriate to try anything, so it is possible.

(If he is an option) I think Liara will only move on to Feron near the end of ME3, or after you refuse to try and romance her. I'm not sure if they'll do a love triangle if he is an option. More of, if you don't romance Liara at a certain time, Feron expresses his feelings for her. And then you'll seeing a cutscene of them together at the end. And maybe you'll get a dialogue scene of Liara talking about it.

If this does happen, I imagine people will start using that as an example of them "possibly" doing something behind Shepard. Which will ****** me off.

True. Both of them make it very clear there's nothing going on between them, though if you don't romance Liara, the latter never outright denies interest Feron. This could also be an Asari thing though. Since they're more comfortable in this department they may feel it need not be said if one isn't interested in someone.

Of course Liara's lack of a solid 'no I'm not interested' keeps the door open for BioWare to do something with this in ME3. Feron did state that after the base was rebuilt he might leave so I'm not even sure we'll get to see him in ME3. Just as well really. If the base goes down and Feron is still on board, Liara might go on another vengeance quest. I do not need to see that side of Liara again truth be told:whistle:

It actually sound more gay when you say it like that, like that you're hiding it when you wanna make sure that no one thinks that you're gay For me at least it's quite natural that I as a male myself, am playing as a male Shep. It would feel more gay to me playing fem Shep and having virtual sex with all those guys (excluding Liara of course)

And no, I'm not saying that playing as a fem Shep if you're a male makes you gay.
I guess we all got the idea what you meant in the first place

Someone from BioWare already stated that Liara will always become SB, and Feron will be saved, even if you don't play the DLC, because it is optional content but part of the established story arc.

Some people already believe that she's doing something behind Shepard, wich is very irrational.

Personally, it never went through my mind, i just trust her enough; and didnt thought was such an issue till i readed some opinions from others.

I agree that an unrommanced Liara could developt a relationship with Feron, but just at the end of ME3. I believe she will be avalaible as LI for new players, but if that path is not followed, her character could go another route. And it would be fine by me, she also deserve to be happy, and the story wouldnt be so Shepard centric all the time.

Romanced Shepard shouldnt even worry, she's too loyal

No, I never thought of that.  It did seem the yahg wanted to keep Feron alive for some reason.

No, b/c everything that happened in the DLC (excluding romance stuff) will be canon in ME3 regardless.

It's easier that way.

Liara's awesomeness killed the Yahg and the mercs. She was so awesome that they all jumped off of the SB ship when they saw her.

Ehhh, I don't really have a problem romancing dudes with a female character. Only thing I won't do, and not because I'm homophobic but because ... it's "not in my interest" is have a dude character romance another dude.

I believe it's just that. If you don't do Lotsb for whatever reason, Shepard still does outside the game so Lotsb is considered completed upon starting ME3 with either an import or a new character. And since there aren't any choices to be made in this DLC, it's easy to predict how it will play out. This will probably cause more distress among Liara haters but... I don't really care. What I'm wondering about is how not playing Lotsb will affect Shep/Liara's romance. Is it likely to assume the romance continues or will it be ended by default?

Don't see why you'd need a flame shield for that. In order to get the achievements I created a few female characters in DAO to romance Zevran and Alistair. Nothing wrong with refusing to romance Zevran with a male character right?

And thats fine, those things are not the cup of tea for everyone. As long as those views dont go into the border of fighting against the ones who would like to have that option, is okay

I didn't mean it like that. What I meant was that IMHO it's extremely normal playing as a male Shep, when you're a guy yourself and romancing female characters, so there is nothing gay with that obviously. It would be more gay to romance male characters with fem Shep when you're a guy than when you play as a male Shep, But still it isn't gay or abnormal or weird at all and I've got no problem with that, I actually have one fem Shep save file myself.

Arrgghh, that was still a very bad explanation... So there is nothing wrong with playing as a male Shep or fem Shep if are a guy or girl yourself, so there is nothing wrong with anything, everything is normal... hmm.. that's still bad, well maybe you got my point anyway

I think i read in the last Ali Hillis interview that they had to record extra dialogs for the ones who didnt played the DLC

Actually by the sound of it. I think they will handle LOTSB differently if you did not play the DLC. I really hope they do this instead of just jumping over the fact that the player never got to experience it, because doing so would be a major disservice to those who stayed loyal but did not get LOTSB for whatever reasons.

If you romanced Liara but did not play LOTSB. Then hopefully there will be some alternative dialog for them. Preferebly a more heated and more bitter version of Shepard's confrontation of Liara on the hotel. Because such players really need such a conversation.
