Used flycam for this picture? It looks really weird from a different camera viewpoint than was intended. Still nice though but... weird.

Apparently, Liara is 'very pivotal'. Sounds positive to me!

Not surprised, considering they made extra special sure to keep her around in the last game :D

I wonder what kind of role she'll play in ME3 though. It should have something to do with her being the Shadow Broker. Maybe she found some interesting data in there somewhere? Though BW may just have decided she was too awesome a character to be able to die. Hence they made her unkillable. Of course I'm also fine with the last part.

We are both fine with the last part of your comment, but there is a group that will kill her the first chance they get.  That makes me...:(

If it's possible to get Liara killed in ME3 I wouldn't EVER look at a youtube vid or read a topic about Liara's death in ME3. So when the time comes and Liara tuns about to be killable in ME3, let's add a rule to the Liara discussion thread: Thou Shan't Discuss, Post Pictures Or Movies About Liara's Potential Death. EVER.

Or something like that...

Darn, try explaining to your co workers why Shepard has that N7 tattoo on her arm..

She says it in the LotSB DLC, when you ask her about Prothean Data. I'm convinced that is the reason she will join up again with the Normandy.
The Protheans had a Plan B.

I love that pic, blue eyes

I guess so. I only hope the talk earlier about a supposed Prothean squadmate really isn't true. Not only would it completely ruin the mysterious view people have about the Protheans, Liara would go nuts questioning the Prothean, leaving no time to spend with Shepard. Imagine the horror! *Shudders*

On a more positive note: So much blue on this page. Ahh well, guess one more doesn't hurt.

I thought it's just the quest that is named "The Prothean", can't imagine a Prothean char either.

Besides that, i'd love to have Liara in Shep's quarters all the time. ^_^

If you look at the description for the CE, they took the DLC off. Not sure if they axed it that one completely or going to give us another one.

I find it hard to believe that any prothean is alive after 50,000 years. Even on Ilos, they are all dead and they seemed to be the last of them. I could be wrong. Who knows.

Loving the pics, peeps. Well, I don't like rapeface pic of Liara. Too creepy looking for me.

Okay, question time;

If Lair Of The Shadow Broker had had a tagline, what should it have been?

Me:

"Remember the debts you owe"

I wonder just how much they're going to include about the romances in the next game. Humans use things like romantic entanglements and mundane activities to distract themselves from the awful crap all the time. It would be concievable that Shep and Liara would have serious talks about kids, marriage, whatever the equivalent is for asari, and all that stuff. Especially since, unlike the other couples they've already worked out most of their "Oh no one of us might die soon! (for realz this time)" stuff.

Liara T' Soni... -_- To continue from where my train of thought left off in the "Anyone else lose interest in Liara during Mass effect 2 ? " Thread : social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/325/index/7761681/4#7766566

And to give context to what I'm about to say here, This is a poat of mine from the awesome "Save/Destroy Collector Base : Your Thoughts " Thread from a couple of months ago :

To those who feel that they would have liked the option of giving the
Collector Base over to another (so thought of) more 'trustworthy
organisation' like the Alliance or Citadel Council. And that Cerebus and
TIM are incompetent reckless and disaster prone.Let me remind you of The
Illusive Man and Cerebus Command, greatest achievements to date...The
Lazarus Project, The Normandy SR2, EDI, and the Dossier List was all of
thier design...Everthing that Shepard needed to get the job done, (in a
way) was provided by them. After completing ME2, i personally felt like
the victory belonged more to Cerebus than Commander Shepard.TIM was the
'Coach' ( He wrote the playbook) Shep was the 'Quarterback'...

And
as they say, "To the victor goes the spoils." The idea of handing over
all that tech to those who do not even believe that the Reapes exist, (
The Citadel Council) is OUTRAGEOUS... Sigh...We all live what we
believe.Perception is 9 tenths of reality...Reaper tech does not exist
to them, so they cannot have access to it: but it does exist to Cerebus,
and that's why they found it and now posses it! Cerebus Operatives,
risked their lives, limbs and very sanity in order to defeat the
Collectors. The crew of the Normandy SR-2 was abducted and nearly
liquified. Those on the Derelict Reaper were turned into Husks or went
mad.Whatever Cerebus may be or do in the aftermath of the War with the
Reapers. No one can deny that by rights, they have earned and are
entilted to whatever benefits may come from the Collector Base...

As it concerns Liara, I sort of felt like it was more dangerous handing off The Shadow Broker's Lair to her than giving The Collector Base, to Cerebus Command... We must remember that by asari standards, she is still quite young.Only 108 years old. And by her own admission, it is only Shepard's mission and the purpose that she finds in helping him that is keeping her honest, :police: relatively speaking... :P  They say that " Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutedly." I don't know... I guess the reason why i say that I'm more concerned about what she might do with her new power, as opposed to what Cerebus may do with there's : Is in part b/c of how she treated me. Someone who is a friend and former ally and someone she claims to love.:(  Along with how remorseless she was about getting that salarian into something that he didn't sign up for that got him killed. :o  Everyone knows what Cerebus goals and highest priority is.The Wellfare of Humanity. But what is Liara's goal and focus long term? She is a complete 'unknown factor' :alien: and that makes me nervous... I'm starting to ask myself now : Do I really know this person? Did I ever ? Because who she was on Illium seemed to be her true self and who i thought she was on the Normandy SR -1 seems to have been nothing more than a phantom or echo...

In a way, as good as the LOTSB DLC was, I almost regret ever playing it now...I just can't believe that I feel like of all people, that i may have to watch my back around her... It almost feels like she may become a villian akin to Willow in Season  6 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer...

As of yet no one directly connected to Shepard has turned traitor(I wish I could trademark this cause you know it's gotta happen). I doubt the first will be Liara. Plus, Liara already had quite a bit of wealth and power on Illium and wasn't corrupted by it(she was corrupted by her thirst for vengeance, kinda like bruce wayne at the beginning of batman only bluer and less whiney.)

SO yeah, Liara is the asari batman.

Wait... I think I missed something there.
