Woolyjoe, you can however make the galaxy a better place, we have enough **** on Earth alone, with that amount of power you can turn the galaxy around into a better place for everyone, think of the scumbags you can punish, the justice you can bring to the galaxy, all that knowledge would be a waste if destroyed, this is the only chance you have to pretty much stop crime, I can't remembe what Anders said but justice is hard and justice is cold, those who cause misery and destroy lives get what they deserve. I hope Shep gets to run Cerberus, Liara as the shadow broker and Shepard could work together, so awesome...

This bring to my mind, when Liara said "Perhaps i can turn this whole organization into something better"

I want to kill that guy bad,  Lie to me about Liara.

I have some odd feeling that Miranda could take over Cerberus.  I think she'll do a better job than TIM.

QFT^2. TIM's got it coming (and "it," in this case, is a fully-charged Collector Particle Beam to the face after I unload the Warp and Overload pain on him). After that...give him to Jack. Liara and Shep can grab some popcorn and watch. Do not mess with Liara. Paragon or Renegade, Shepard will end you.

...the thing that really annoys me is, it's a stupid lie. How is Shepard not going to find out?

TIM knew that Miranda nor Jacob would tell Shepard.  I think at times TIM tried to go out of his way to keep Liara from Shepard.  Why else lie about her and not the other squad members.  Why else keep an eye on their relationship.

I like you more an' more as the pages pass, buddy. You're views are like the ultimate in vigilantism; 'Where there isn't vision, the people perish'. My favourite kinds of people - the most hopless of romantics!

Not to say your views are hopeless, mind. Goodluck and Godspeed. I just mean I think you're completely right, in more respects than one - but, also, everyone to one's own

Hello.
I'm new here and oblivious about ME3 news, but judging from what I’ve seen in SB, Liara may try to contact her mother’s partner before the Reapers attack. Hopefully an assignment included in the main plot, not DLC; if Williams returns why not Liara.
What concerns me however is not what may not happen, but what might. In ME2, Liara repeated Benezia’s words “have you ever faced an Asari unit before, few humans have”, keeping a certain distance from the commander, which was unexpected since she risked herself to rescue Shepard's body and so carefully held her dog-tags and armor. Understanding Liara evolved, matured and was still hurt, nevertheless she was utterly concerned about the mission and Feron if compared with ME1. In my opinion, the old team and Liara’s relationship should receive special attention in ME3.

It would be nice, but also interesting if after the Reapers attack, the survivors/species change their mentality about each other and create another kind intel, far better than Spectres/Shadow Broker/Cerberus, having Shepard, Liara, Anderson, etc, as agents.

Signing the end of your post? Klassic

You mean like a intra-galactic version of MGS's The Patriots...? Kewl and more than viable, but I don't know if it'd go down well with das Council. Plus it could, in the long term, be open to manipulation and distortion. Which would, obviously, be ve'y, ve'y dangerous...

Going down well or not with the Council is relative, Vasir was working for them and she was all the above mentioned..."ve'y dangerous".
Yes I like the Klassic.

Pockles, you literally have the galaxy at your finger tips, you are the most powerful being, respected and feared. You know everything down to the very last detail, you saw Udina make gay love to an elcor, you saw Aria create a childrens home, you know the entire history of vey species, you can get what you want, when you want. You won't be happy with this at all? You could send your own men to raid womens or mens clothing so you can rummage, sniff, lick, wear anything, the possibilities are endless, you have everything.

No, I wouldn't. I understand the appeal though.

To think that one person could have that kind of power scares me, to be honest.

And that is why it's better that the Shadow Broker base does not survive ME3. As long as Shepard is around, Liara will stay honest. But since those with power never fail to abuse it, once Shepard is gone eventually Liara won't stay on the honest path. That base has got to go in ME3!

The acquisition of power does not always inevitably lead to its abuse. There are many people who would, because there are many people who are greedy and selfish, there are also people who are resolute, and possess a strong moral bedrock. Applying "absolute power corrupts absolutely" as a universal truth would be absurd.

What I said is just my personal feelings, not my opinion. If I was in Liara's position I would do the same thing she did. I wouldn't like it, but I wouldn't be able to throw away a chance to turn the operation into something beneficial.

Even if you do not trust Liara, a known evil is preferable to an unknown evil.

Who deosn't love the kassics? Apart from maybe the classicists... I imagine they'd be finicky when it came to spelling
Ah, relative it is. But, I was considering it in terms of a kind of 'quasi-Council' being founded. In the same vein that leaves Omega as the Terminus's Citadel, this 'Shadow-Council' could, with the Broker/Cerberus combination, be seen as a threat, despite their noble intentions

But, hey, I digress. Have you seen Liara's eyes lately? Deeper than the darkest oceans, dem is

Amazing what can happen in 24 hours, some of these posts are getting epic. King Minos is either heavy on the weed or just deep lol.

Anywayz here's my philosophical contribution to the mysteries of the ME universe.

Not heavy on weed lol, I just believe with that amount of power you can stop Crime right in it's tracks. Is safe to say the SB has information on every criminal organisation, some involved in heavy prostitution, slavers, terrorists the lot. As the SB you can prevent another Mindoir scenario, stop people like Balak for example.

Pretty sure Bioware would not leave such a potential resource available to Shepard, that would make things too easy. My bet is it gets attacked by Cerberus and you get Liara out of the base before it goes down.

But yeah I would totally blow up the basy too just to have Liara on the Normandy, jreezy is just a buzzkill :P

Naaa, Shepards emotional problems and sexual needs are much more important than having Liara wasting away stuck on the SB base<_< She would do the galaxy much better service keeping shepard happy in his cabin:D

Or.. if you dont wanna blow up the SB base get Feron to look after it, his capable of cleaning and dusting.

Shepard can go kick some galactic butt with a big grin on his/her face now.

Everyones Happy.

Destroying the shadow broker base is like nuking thessia, earth, rakhanna, tuchanka (what's left of it), salarian home world and the hanar home world. The SB base has information on everything and is one of our greatest weapons. The SB base can easily be used to get information and unite the galaxy, stop civil or potential wars, notify the council on planets with huge amount of resources and atleast full view of the known galaxy, when the reapers enter, the SB will know it straight away and can warn planets and send out possible tactics to each species. SB may be our only hope of survival if you think about it.

Actually I think that is exactly why Bioware would probably get rid of it asap.
It's too valuable, too much of advantage for Shepard, also a reason to get Liara on the Normandy.
Like I said, my bet is that it will get either attacked by Cerberus or attacked by Reapers, resulting in it's destruction and the end of the SB network.

Pff, the artis obviously drew Liara's Lotsb face since she has very blue eyes and blue lips but in her ME1 uniform, which means he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about.

P.S. lol j/k ;) Funneh comic.

If I was making Mass Effect 3 that would be how the game begins, with the Reapers destroying the SB's base and the apparent killing of the LI, or at least that is Shepard believes.
