He most likely was a sadistic guy. There was even medical equipment installed in the chair so he didn't die from the torture. To me, that seems the Yagh wanted to go as far as possible to hurt Feron but not kill him.

The only thing I do is adjust the MaxLODSize/MinLODSize settings in BioEngine.ini to get rid of the blurry textures and put them all on maximum. The weird thing is, I'm pretty sure the first time I installed ME + BdtS + PS + 1.02 everything worked fine.

In the beginning, yes. Of course I had to format my computer recently so when I reinstalled ME I guess that's when the problems arose.

Also, though an unrelated point I've noticed after installing Origin (so I can play Alice: Madness Returns) whenever I search on Google, then click on a link my browser tries to redirect to some random site rather than the actual link I went on :S

Is Origin like some kinda virus or something, I never had that until I installed it :/

It's definitely nothing to do with the sites i've been on, I've just had BSN, Facebook and Youtube on constantly, so it's nowhere "obscure" or "dubious".

Well I have no experience about modifying ME files so if the problem is because of that then I can't help sorry. But since you've recently formated your computer, have you updated for example your soundcard and other hardware drivers, for example via windows update (assuming your running windows OS of course), and your motherboard home site etc. The other thing is that the installer files of those patches can somehow be corrupted or something, so you could try to re-download them and after that install those patches again.

Some one else feel free to give other tips in order to get those sounds functional!

It worked, but not in the way they planned it I think. An awful feeling of jealousy came over me every time Liara looked at Feron in the chair and yelled 'Feron' with him responding 'Liara?'. It's nothing I know but for some reason it made my Shepard very jealous...

My single femShep missed out on romancing Liara, so I'm hoping she can get with Liara in ME3. Even though she's a little angry right now. No, I take that back, she's a lot angry right now. If I was a Cerberus personal, I would be keeping an eye on Shepard. She hate Cerberus. TIM is going to regret bring this Shepard back to life.

Those that stayed faithful to their ME1 LI, should get more than those that did not. I won't see the difference until I play a Shep with Ash, because my first play through is with my canon femShep with my first playthrough file from ME2, which is the messed up file. Might as well use that one first so I can make mistakes in ME3 and learn from them with my other files with canon femShep.

I do hope the LI gets to live in the captain's quarters, so we can stop seeing NONE when it lists on each level where the squad is located. I want it to see Liara's name there.

Is that a bad things? Bwahahaha.

Leia Shepard didn't need a reason.  She was already hating the SB because of him trying to sell her body to the collectors. 

Even the yahg says, "The drell was paying the price." or something along that line?  Two years?  

It was like why was the collectors stunning the colonist and taking them.  We find out why at the end with the baby human-reaper, but we never found out why the yahg keep Feron alive for two years. 

Bait for Liara maybe?  Shepard?  The yahg did say, "You'll stay dead this time, Shepard."  I was like ah, don't think.

The problem seems to boil down to my sound card itself from the googling i've done. ME1 doesn't have very good support for Realtek cards, and there is no way in hell I'm going to fork out money to actually buy a sound card (seriously, who wouldn't just stick to the one in their motherboard?) so I'll just stick to default ME1. Of course this means that I can#t do the DLC which I guess means I'll end up having to do a "real" perfect run in the future if it turns out they have an effect in ME3.

In other news, I've just rushed through Therum, got Liara on my team and the awesomeness of my playthrough has gone up x1000

I have 4 out of 10 Shepards with Liara.  Three are female and one is male.  My tool femShep is the only one that wasn't faithful.    But she did break it off with Garrus, but now she thinking of hooking up with Thane even thougth she got back with Liara.  Like I said, she's a tool.

I think that he was held prisoner somewhere else before hand but they failed to interrogate him or the SB wanted a tool to use against Liara.

I never learned all the SB, SM, LOTSB, etc. except for a small hand full over time by asking questions.

all mine exsept 1 is a femshep and everyone has gotten with Liara

Yeah, same here in Finland, games are so damn expensive. PC games cost something like 50€ when they are realeased, and for console games the price is something like 60-70€. For example this ME3 collector's edition is something like 90€ for PC and I don't even wanna know what that costs for consoles.. and that is cheap comparing to other collector's edition prices I've seen. Luckily I'm PC gamer myself but still makes you consider really good before buying any games.

Even I've assembled my PCs myself (you know, bought components and stuff) I've never bought an actual sound card, the ones integrated into motherboards have always been good enough for me. About what you find out by googling, that may be the case, that ME1 just doesn't support Realtek cards very well, but still you could try to update your Realtek drivers, you should be able to find them in your motherboards home site, if you haven't already done that. But of course if that doesn't help and you've patched it, you need to re-install ME1 again, so if that unpacthed version is fine for you, just sticking to that current version could save you some time and effort, but well, decide yourself :happy:

It's funny but I can't romance Liara with other Shepards. It feels like she (Liara) is cheating or being dup'ed by a fake Shepard. "No Liara! That isn't E.W. Shepard! Get away from that imposter!"

My male Shepard wasn't attracted to her (thank the stars) but he does care about her. He feels responsible for her after "killing" her mother. He loves Ash.

I had a theory before Lair Of The Shadow Broker came out that the SB was using people as some sort of organic computer to process all the information that comes through, but as you might have guess; that was not the case.

I think some of it is the money exchange.  Or tariffs if those countries have them.  Wish I could answer.

The PC and console versions in the States are the same price.  SE, is $60 and the CE is $80.
