Another fab Liara/Miranda fanfic from jtav. Even though I think Liara belongs with Shepard I still like Liara/Miranda.

I always found ME1 CC quite horrible, i dont know how i managed to make my canon Shep at that time, because i hadnt been able to make an exact copy of her again <_<
At least she turned out good for my tastes, i'm aware that for others she could be hideous

Also to go back a page, I seen the Ashley texture on Femshep a few days ago and it is a major improvement. I would like to see more in terms of textures for faces rather than the ones we got at the minute, clean, old and fugly.

I have tried to create other faces, but - to me - none of them looked better than the first face I created - seen here:

Hit two proximity charges. You get that dialogue.
Nothing happens even if you hit all the charges.

That one is just awesome. Shepard's smirk really sets the mood.

After some people posted some Liara croft pictures, I'm not having the same amount of trouble with the front of Liara's statue any more strangely enough. It's still a random baby like Asari with Liara's armor on and still doesn't look anything like Liara herself but.. can't have it all.

Of course I'm going to wake up tomorrow and there will be 5 new pages...<_<
So I know I'm a little late, but Janne - that pencil drawing you did a few pages back was amazing.
Re: the statue, I pretty much agree with the general consensus of this thread, ie - IT SUCKS. But I think, I THINK, that I could accept it and buy it if they just fixed the face. It would still be overly sexualized and the pose and stance not akin to Liara's personality at ALL, but if they fixed the face, I might be able to live with it.
Question for group! If you want to have lots of little blue children with Liara - how many would you have and what would you name them? Some cool Asari name, or some human name? And would they keep T'soni or Shepherd as a last name?

That's exactly my problem with it. Even if the statue HAD Liara's facial features, her overly sexualized body and pose don't fit her personality, as such, it is NOT a statue of Liara. Instead it's a statue of an overly sexualized Asari that just happens to look like Liara. As a matter of fact, I dare say this statue could represent anyone BUT Liara since she's among the very few Asari not wearing a low cut top or whatever outfit you could see a regular Asari wearing (Note Benezia and Samara's outfits). I just can't appreciate a statue like this.

I agree!!! I'm just trying to psyche myself up to accept it because I'm afraid that's the crap we'll be getting with the finished product and I really want a Liara statue!!
My initial disgust at it was that Liara seems like such a.... dignified soul. I'm not sure if dignified is the right term. She's respectable, intelligent, brave, independent. And that statue seems like the exact opposite of that. With the low cut top, pushed out breasts, giant butt, it makes the character of Liara seem cheap and ****-ish, like her only redeeming qualities are her giant "assets".
Edit to add: Huh. Didn't know you couldn't use a fairly common term for "female prostitute" on this board. It got all ****** out.

I really like asari names. Saphyria and Anaya are two of my favourites (along with Liara). I wonder what asari usually do regarding last names. I doubt asari hyphenate because after a few generations everyone would be overrun with last names.

Jacob's outfit is just as tight as Miranda's and he has less personality to make up for it. I like Miranda and I think the catsuit fits her personality. A catsuit doesn't fit Liara's personality but that pose makes it even worse.

About the last name, i would like they keep T'soni, as her asari mother.
And about the names, i have no idea, i guess my Shep will have to make a consensus with Liara about that
