Re: the statue, I pretty much agree with the general consensus of this thread, ie - IT SUCKS.  But I think, I THINK, that I could accept it and buy it if they just fixed the face.  It would still be overly sexualized and the pose and stance not akin to Liara's personality at ALL, but if they fixed the face, I might be able to live with it.



Question for group!  If you want to have lots of little blue children with Liara - how many would you have and what would you name them?  Some cool Asari name, or some human name?  And would they keep T'soni or Shepherd as a last name?

I tweeted Casey Hudson what I though about that ugly ass statue.  I said Sorry not Liara at the end of it.  He did respond to it.  I was shocked, but his answer was BS.  No ingame statue of Liara, No thanks.  I tweeted that back.  No response to that one. 

The blue children question.  Right now I am working on a new story set 15 years after the war.  Liara and Shepard have two children.  Liara might get pregnant with number three before the story is over.  I haven't made my mind up on that yet.  But I do have three names picked out.

I put a great deal of thought and research into their children names.


Oldest-Kaja(Greek meaning pure)
Middle-Gaia(Greek meaning Earth)-probably should be the oldest name.
Youngest-Randa(Latin meaning she who must be desired), also nick name for Miranda(Liara has to talk Shepard into this one  Shepard still didn't trust Miranda even though I've RP her dying helping take out Cerberus.).


ETA:The kids will have T'Soni as their last name.  Liara and Shepard talk about it.  Both last names will put expectations on them that neither parents wants for them, but T'Soni would put less than Shepard.

Oooo!  I love your stories, have you posted that one yet?  Is it a sequel to one of the other two?  I'm all excited to read it!!!

Trade PaperBack.  The copies that have the whole series in one book. 

To answer your question.  No, I've not posted that story yet.  I've written one chapter of it so far and I like to have my stories almost complete before I start to post them.  That way I can post a chapter a week and not have people wait weeks for a new chapter.  It's just the way I do things.  Nothing wrong with posting what you've written then post one at a time.  I hope to have it done shortly after I come back from my trip to California next month.

Yea, I'm visiting my half-sister that I have not seen since she was 10.  She is now 24, married and a Navy vet.  Her husband is stationed at LeMoore NAS.  I'm flying to San Francisco, we're spending a day there doing girl stuff then head back to meet her husband.  From what I know of the guy, I like so far.  He seems to treat my sister right unlike her first husband.  

And two weeks after I get back, I am going to EXP Con in St. Augustine, FL.  Both Ali Hillis and Jennifer Hale will be there.  Yea Me!

I love San Francisco!!  My sister lived there for awhile so I visited often.  Make sure to go to Ghirardelli square if you're a chocolate fan!!!

Personally I highly highly HIGHLY prefer Jennifer Hale's voice acting to Mark Meer's.  So that could be a contributing factor.  Is Mark Meer even an actor?  Because he doesn't really sound like it when I hear Male Shepherd.

Here is a nice blog about femShep and it makes comments about Meer's version of Shepard.  I agree with most of what was said in it. 


I voted both.  Which is true.  Three femSheps with Liara.  Two completely faithful, one is a tool and unsure what she really wants.    My Sheploo is also faithful to Liara.

The male Shepard-Liara romance, is the only romance I didn't play.
So I have to ask: is there even a big difference?
Is it worthwhile playing ME1 again and make a 5th savegame for ME3?

I think he does a good job as Shepard but his performance could definitely be better. There are some lines he delivers better then Jennifer Hale and vice versa. I voted both in that poll. In general though I prefer Jennifer Hale. Her voice was a part of my childhood and I didn't even know it.

I'm one of those werid people who actually prefers Mark's VO then Jennifer's.
Part of the reason why I couldn't go through a single femshep playthrough is because it just didn't click with me.

Sequal to The Aftermath  It's set 15 years later.  Their first true family vacation.  I'm not sure how long it's going to be.  But then I never know how long they are going to be until I start writing them.  I thought Hard Choices was going to be two or three chapters and I ended up writing ten.  

Or I really should have said, I have my stories almost completed before I start posting them.  Majority of what I'm writing right now is going to involve Leia Shepard and Liara. 

I'm tempeted to write something about my single femShep and Liara after Shepard was a complete **** to Liara on Illium.  This Shepard is very angry about waking up on a Cerberus station.  She even more pissed off after Liara told her, she is the reason Shepard ended up with Cerberus.  Sole Survivor and she knows Cerberus set up her squad on Akuze.  It's not looking good for the Cerberus crew on board the Normandy.  I don't think they'll make it through the SM.  I know she won't bother with Jacob's or Miranda's LM.  She doesn't care about these people.  She doesn't want anything to do with them.  Joker is on thin ice because of him, she got spaced.  The only human on the ship this Shepard trusts is Dr. Chakwas.  She also trusts Garrus and Tali, but I haven't picked her up yet..

It just about killed me to renegade Liara on Illium.  Not doing that again.  Glad I recorded it.
