I've been tempted to write a story or two about this Shepard. She has so many issues it's not even funny. The cabin scene would be the perfect place to have this Shepard break down in front of Liara. Hmmmm.....

Same here.  I wrote this a while back after Arrival, though it's Shepard confiding in Liara through a message.

Whoops!  Sorry!  :(

I'm behind a couple pages so I wasn't aware of the moratorium placed on Meer vs. Hale discussion.

My bad!!!

Here, have some Liara goodness!

Thanks for sharing.  I've read it before.  I've read a lot of Shep/Liara stories.  I just don't ever remember who wrote what.

The Shepard I was talking about in what you quoted is single.  Couldn't romance Liara because I picked her up after Virmire.  I was confirming that you couldn't romance Liara if you get her after Virmire and this Shepard went off on Kaidan after Udina locked down the Normandy.  She went off on him again on Horizon and as far as this femShep is concerned, they are no longer friends.  See how that plays in ME3.

She has a crush on Liara, but now is drinking too much and not sleeping enough.  Even though I don't think Shepard in general sleeps much.  Shepard also snapped on Liara on Illium but I've yet to do the DLC.  I'm waiting until later.  After I do the IFF mission.  This Shepard needs the Cerberus personal off the Normandy ASAP so she can get her head back on straight.  Or as straight as it can get.  Sole Survivor and Colonist.

I like how you can mix the drinks on the Normandy.  Do that twice and EDI is telling Shepard where the bathroom is.  I  every time I hear it and right now it's after every mission.

EDI is such a stalker :P i bet she and Kasumi got a good time watching Shepard and Liara "having drinks" on the Normandy

I love EDI.  First time I played the game I kept thinking, that voice is soooooooo familiar.  And then I looked it up and realized its Number Six from Battlestar Galactica!  I love all the famous tv/movie actors they get for these games!

Alcoholic Shepard? How professional.

Does anyone else like to pretend that Shepard and Liara drink tea instead of canned wine?

More dignified, somehow...

I have a hard time trying not to think they're drinking liquified t-virus already

It does have a lovely mint-aftertaste, but can give you quite the trippy-tummy

Not to mention all those nasty mutations.

And it's known to be terrible for the complexion, too. But it does work wonders on the hair, for a time...

That explains Shepard's red scars...

This thread sure goes fast...

1. It never occurred to me Joker’s stubbornness in saving the Normandy spaced Shepard...good point.
2. As for the armor, probably the main pieces were attached to Shepard's body, the rest spread around. I wonder if anyone knows the period to Liara recover/deliver Shepard's body to Cerberus. Maybe the 3 months Jacob mentioned (he said 2 years, 3 months and 12 days...if I'm not wrong). Just speculating.
I imagine Liara was probably devastated, inconsolable, needing to move on[/i] after delivering the body. Thus not all inaccurate the status TIM gave about Shepard’s former crew. The first kiss in her office (recently discussed), seemed to (even if remotely) reflect that[/i]: contempt at first, then sorrow as if refusing to revive the past and protecting herself from a hurtful future. Hence the question at the Normandy “I need to know you always coming back”.  I’m not defending TIM, just pointing Cerberus seems to omit information (i.e. Horizon) and that’s going to be a problem if they go after the SB in ME3.
3.I read a lot of fanfictions, and imo the beauty of writing is to explore new alternatives,  as long as it respects few canon elements, 'artistic freedom' is welcome, it's a fan fiction after all :)

@Ladyvader, you want to kill the crew? I wanted to save them since blowing the Collectors would cut relations with Cerberus, and unless there is a change of events in ME3, I'll need all help I can get.

I could swear Michael Dorn (Worf from Star Trek TNG/DS9) voiced a Krogan, later I checked and glad I was right; was lovely to see they called him to represent another warrior. Live long… =/\\=

Definitely, Mass Effect wouldnt be the same without the amazing voice acting it has. Is very nice that the game industry improved so much in the last years on this regard

For this one Shepard yes.  Normally, I save them all.  But this one femShep is a colonist, sole survivor, paragade.  She sees Cerberus everywhere and it's just pissing her off in a major way.  And it's not good.  She either needs to get off the ship or they need to go.  Since Shepard can't leave, they will.  Maybe it will be enough for her to get her head on straight. And not be a complete ass to Liara the next time they talk.  She does have a crush on that asari.  But then who doesn't  :P

Those that don't max out either meter and are mostly grey characters.  They will usually go a little higher in paragon or renegade, but have a liberal mix of the other.  I asked that same question on this thread many pages ago.   You totally get gimped doing it, because you won't be able to use the higher paragon/renegade actions.  I don't know if I'll be able to defuse the Tali/Legion argument.

Before the thread ends, a quick question about Liara's dialog, how do you get her to answer, regarding Shepard's jealousy:"maybe you should do something about it." Thanks in advance.

ladyvader i have a RP question for you. One of your femSheps is a straight woman that for a thing of destiny she fell in love with an asari (and Liara is just irresistible :P). But asaris look very much like a human female. Was this a problem for your Shepard? was she unsure when she and Liara had their first sexual encounter? did she avoided Liara's femenine assets or just went all for it?

You can answer me in MP if you want, if you dont want some people making unnecessary remarks like in the s/s thread.

I'm very curious how people RP their Shepards ^_^

Don't do the interrupt kiss.  That is when I've gotten that line.  Then ask about her and Feron.

I know that if you dont embrace her, you get that line when you ask about Feron later.
I dont remember if you also get it if you embrace her but dont do the paragon interrupt kiss though

It about the kiss interrupt.  I always hug her, but I blew off kissing her.  That was tool femShep.  She wasn't sure at the moment if she still wanted to be with Liara because she was with Garrus at that point.  But in the end when Liara accused her of being jeleaous is when she realized she still had feelings for Liara.  The are back together.  She still might mess it up in ME3.  Image IPB

Yes, I have too many different femShep and three of them I RP heavy.

Offtopic, do you people play with subtitles? I heard it can influence in romance, regardless the gender, true?

I use them and not use them.  They have nothing to do with what is going on ingame.  They are just that subtitles to the words being spoken in game so you can know what they are saying for those of us(moi) that are hard of hearing.

I noticed that too!  I'm like WORF!!!  And then, hey, why is Worf being such a jerk? <_<

I mean they had Marina Sirtis as Benezia (Troi) and in DA:O and DA2 they had Captain Janeway as Flemeth.  Maybe the bioware peeps just love Star Trek?

@IndigoWolfe

Liara looks more badass in the second pic though. More biotic flowing from her. And I like that armor better too.
