Some special arrangements (I'm talking about permanent squadmember status) could (and probably will) be made for important characters. Both Liara and Ashley/Kaidan play a big role in ME3 and weren't featured in the main ME2 game a whole lot, while all other squadmembers minus Vega and probably a yet to announce human female are in both ME1 and ME2 most of the time. (Note the human female is pure speculation on my part but it seems logical to me that BW will add a human female for s/s romance purposes)

Seems reasonable to me.  I do hope there is another female human if for anything the s/s romance.  If it is either Miranda or Ashley, I will probably pass on doing another femShep for that relastionship.

i have a qwestion, what exactly is the shadow broker addon? how do i download it and what does it bring?

all i have done so far are the first few missions i broker into the terminals, found the observer and all but do i actualy have to download the shadow broker thing or do i allready have it?

if i do need to download it is there a way to do it without actualy paying creditcard? my parents NEVER buy things in my name with creditcard unless its ebay or sites like that so how can i get it?

xbox 360 needs microsoft points but can buy on xbox live or in store. you go to xbox live market place or put in game disc while conected to xbox live and look for extras or dlc.

for ps3 or pc i would not know

Yes, you have to download the Liar of the Shadow Broker.  It's 800 MS points or BW points.  Well worth it.  Are you PC or Xbox?  If it is the Xbox, you can buy pre-paid point cards at retailers that sell games.

The PS3 came with all DLC excpect for the Arrival which was released later.

At the start up screen there should be a "Download Content Available" option. Click on it.

Sure if you want to dance around your living room like an idiot. Oh and I suppose it'd look really nice to your parents/roommates/partner when you're talking to your tv when choosing dialogue options. I can just see it now, parents come walking in while I'm saying all kinds of sweet things to the tv... 

Short answer: I doubt it's worth it but then again I play on the PC so I really can't be bothered with the kinect.

It largely depends on where you live, I live in the Netherlands and I use pre paid 'wally-cards' to buy BioWare points. All done while sitting in my lazy computer chair  
You could just check which payment options are available to you by clicking the following:

Profile --> Add BioWare Points --> Select amount of points --> Continue to Payment Options

Have your parents get a pre-paid visa/mastercard.  It works like credit card, but isn't attached to any account.  Your parents bank should have them. 

About Kinect, I own one, but I doubt I will use it for ME3.  I enjoy playing with the Kinect.  I do the sports games and bowling is very fun.  It is better than both the Wii and PS3 where you have a controller in your hand that can fly out of it into the TV and break the TV.

I've done the LotSB too many times.  Am I the only one that notices that Liara cops a few feels on femShep boobs?  She did it during the kiss scene after defeating the yahg and again when hugging femShep near the elevator after the screen goes black.  

When did Liara become a perv?  I'm just kidding of course.  Shep didn't mind.

I have... 3 playthroughs left I think. Had a bunch more earlier but figured I made roughly the same major decisions so I removed a few of them. I have moved some saves to a flash drive.  I play on Xbox.  The last three playthroughs I started killing off people during the SM, just so I could have some differenece.  Some didn't do all the missions.  Others are not loyal.  Some died.  Of the 10 files I plan on importing, four of them have everyone survive the SM.  One cheated on Liara, but got back with her.    My only confilcts will be with Ashley and Kaidan and the ME2 LI which are Jack and Jacob.   I'm taking a break from the games after today.  Probably for the rest of the year.  My plan anyway.  Doubt it actually happens.    I  need to finish reading the books and then I will be set to go.  I do see me replaying my canon femShep one more time in both ME and ME2.  Maybe actually do the insane run on ME.  I have yet to do that.

I killed of Jack just once and it was only sort of on purpose. While doing her LM I figured I'd take Miranda and Jack with me to the final fight and because I wanted to romance Miranda (then reload an earlier save, just for getting the achievement. So I didn't actually cheat on Liara:P) I figured I had to side with her in their argument since somehow I didn't have enough paragon points to resolve the matter. Wanting to stick to my original plan, Jack died on the collector base.

Of course it was only after the mission when I invited Liara up to my cabins when I noticed I wasn't getting the (imo) perfectly fitting dialogue because Jack was dead. I consider the following to be fitting:

Shepard: We fought them on their on turf and won, they can't call us young or primitive any longer.
Liara: Young? You know I'm 108. 109 in a couple of months.
Shepard: I should get you something nice.
Liara: You're alive again, I've got everything I want. So tell me what you want...

The other dialogues just play out a little strangely and the 'so tell me what you want' usually doesn't really fit in the situation. Except for the situation I described above... 

Less positive note: What's up with all the Liara hate on the forums right now? It's making me a very sad panda:crying:

The other dialogues she comments about them being alone and still talking about everyone but ourselves.  Then she asks...So tell me what you want line.  Sorta fits, but yes, it flows better if no one died during the SM. 

When she hands Shepard the framed dogtags and asks how are you really doing.  Not what you tell your squad to keep moral up, I usually pick the renegade response.  Because at that point, that is how even my paragon Shepard feels.  I'm tired, tired of dealing with Cerberus, tired of the Council ignoring me, tired of my closest friends not believing me.  I also love Liara's comment about how the Council are idiots.    I think that comes if you pick the middle response.  Not that I am 100% on that.  I've redone the cabin scene about three times already this afternoon and I didn't pick that one.  Doh.

I liked the dialog when some people died too. Only happened in my first playthrough, missing it in subsequent playthroughs made me wish I'd got someone killed again. It is good to see the different ways the cabin scene can play out though. It was interesting to try it before the SM, I liked that Shepard could ask why Liara wasn't complaining about Shep working for Cerberus (since it pissed off most of the other ME1 squaddies). So much great dialog in LotSB, I'm hoping ME3 will follow suit (from what some devs have said it sounds like that will be the case).
