I'm uploading the video right now. I'll post the link once it finishes the upload.
I have yet to check out my tweeter today. OMG, I love her more and more.Ajosraa wrote...

Just saw it.
I have to say, I expected more emotion from Liara after those 'renegade' options. Despite the greatness of LotSB, so much more could've been done with the reunion. The 'renegade' options don't give an entirely different outcome, and the only part of Liara's character that they reveal is what we've all already expected.
Does anyone else feel like the entire sequence on Illium with Liara was poorly done?

A bit? Try a lot and this from one that likes big boobs. That statue is hidious. Looks nothing like Liara. I know it's not painted, but the face is not Liara.Ajosraa wrote...

As someone said, for some a person they know is more important than faceless ones. Like a father would save their child over a train full of people.
Is that selfish? probably. Is that unnatural and inhuman? certainly not, is very natural in fact.

To have different opinions is fine, but telling others who RP different are "not in their right mind" is unnecesary. And wanted to remind you thats just a game, hope i make myself clear now

King Minos, I disagree with your
earlier comment that the genophage was immoral. Should it have been
absent, the Krogan would have caused much suffering in the galaxy. The
genophage was in fact an attempt to bring birth rate to pre-spaceflight
numbers. Mordin mentions that if the Krogan stopped fighting among
themselves and unified for peace among their species, they might thrive.
The genophage is not an attempt to kill Krogan, nor does it cause
neurological changes in Krogan.
There are of course different
perspectives to look at it, but I think it was a necessary action.
Whether it was moral or not is irrelevant to its purpose (but, as I
said, I think it was a moral decision that has been blown out of
proportion by the Krogan).

Inhuman, as in, lacking compassion and empathy. Suppose the train was full of other people's children? It's natural not to want to give up someone you love, but feelings have little meaning relative to actions. The choice to save a child over a hundred children is inhuman, and selfish.

But you just said it yourself, Pockles, the urge to save your own child, your own lover is NATURAL and therefore very very very human. So the choice to save your own loved one over a hundred others is certainly selfish, but its not INHUMAN.
But I don't think Bioware will give us this situation. That's not exactly "rewarding" those who stayed loyal. Maybe that will be a situation thats only for those that cheated.

The choice would be selfish but not inhuman. The choice would be made
out of compassion for one's own. This is part of who we are as a species
to protect our own, especially our young. In-game or "hypothetically"
speaking it is easy to say that we would throw our own child to the wind
to save one-hundred other children. It also makes us feel good about
ourselves, but it is also a load of crap.
Real life ... you put
one of my nieces or nephews in my arm and say throw him/her away for the
others ... hmmm. Nope, I would have to say that I think I
would pick my kid. Does that make me evil? No. Human. But none of us
truly know what we would do until we are actually in that position.
People that never thought they would be heroes were and ALOT of people
that think their **** don't stink and that they would be a hero? Not so
much.
As you start on life's journey you think very highly of
yourself ... I've lived long enough to know that I am not a
water-walker. Just human with all the junk that comes with it. Mistakes,
selfishness, weaknesses. I've put some of these on my Shepard but I've
also allowed her the better parts of humanity as well. She is the hero
while I am so not ...

And what about having compassion for the billions of other lives on Earth, or Thessia? Do they mean nothing in comparison to someone who you care about? Are their relationships with others somehow less important because you don't know them?
You don't have to be a hero to have principles.
