hey guys, is there any way to swap out a squad mate for Liara for the main game?

I heard someone did this with Jacob, so he'd appear on the Normandy but when out during missions you could have Liara with you :3

Check this thread page, last post by Crunchyinmilk explains in detail how to do it. Thats the way I did it.

Yes you can, the downside is that she doesn't appear in cutscenes, well one time she did but I don't know how I did that.
Maybe someone knows if I did something wrong or different.

I loved her little chat in me1 about her Indiana Jones style misadventures on acheaological digs. I can just imagine her running into mercs, popping out a few biotic distractions then running away lolz

She's certainly come along way now.

It would be fun to play Liara's misadventures before she met Shepard.. prequel Liara dlc Although, she said it would never compare to Shepards adventures. It would still be an interesting dlc idea for all the characters back story, before they met Shepard.

We could learn more about her father, what do you guys think?

Re-doing my Troll career more to my liking, Liaramanced character. Liara walked out on me in my cabin, did any of you know about this?

She asked what the point of fighting the Reapers is if we all die. I replied w/ "IDK" option and Liara got disappointed and left. Shepard goes and sulks on her couch, just looking at the glasses still full with drinks. Liara turns to look back one time and then finally leaves.

WOW. My character is insufferable but that was stone-cold, actually felt bad for my Shep.

How exactly would a prequel starring Liara (Nice idea btw - Liara based content that doesn't mess up my Liara/Shep headcanon is always good) also feature Aethyta (or whomever her father is) considering she's never met, nor even known her father.

Regarding her father..maybe she has a few adventures trying to track down her father.. who knows.

I know Shepard wouldn't be in that DLC and since it should take place before ME1 it can't mess up any choice that may have been made in ME1 or 2 regarding Liara. But we also have to realise Liara's life wasn't particularly interesting before she met Shepard. I imagine she was raised by her mother on Thessia until she was about 55 years old, also going to the university of serrice during that period. And I imagine she had some proper biotic training as well. Then she went off to study protheans for 50 years, seeing few other people in the meantime. 50 years later, during her study of the prothean ruins on Therum, she noticed some Geth and ran, getting herself trapped in a security device. Until she was rescued by a dashing human Spectre called Shepard she eventually fell in love with.

Apart from the final part, not too many interesting things to write a dlc about.

Hah yes reapers, I know what you mean, sometimes I hate the way Liara is in ME2. I lack the patience when people act cold to me and when ever I argue I can be real stubborn and always trying to have the last word, honestly I can never shut up in an argument I always have to say something insulting, I don't really get along with my family because of this. Luckily I am not Shepard, if I was then I would of destroyed the relationship because I can't keep my mouth shut or know when to stop and I will unfortunately rip open emotional wounds and provoke liara.

Says you.. That's a lot of time to generalize nothing interesting happening. I'm sure Bioware writers could come up with some interesting adventures.

That's possible. Liara saves the day in her deams, I would definitely get it! The end scene should be the dark silhouette of Shepard along with the sound of boots. However before the scene really ends Liara should say: "Hello?! Can somebody help me? Please?"

That's possible. Liara saves the day in her deams, I would definitely get it! The end scene should be the dark silhouette of Shepard along with the sound of boots. However before the scene really ends Liara should say: "Hello?! Can somebody help me? Please?"

I'd get that type of DLC in a nano-second. 

It couldn't be any worse than some of the DLC for DA:O.

Yes nice comic. I really like how you've drawn that Liara's crest (or what ever it should be called).

Talking about fanart, I've been drawing this Liara + male Shep thing for something like a week now , and no that doesn't mean that I would have drawn it a week full time. More like I've been working on it every time I feel like drawing and when I get the inspiration. So while drawing Liara I started to think that do the asari have fingernails. I've never really thought about that I realized that I have absolutely no idea. So yeah, that's my question for you, do the asari have fingernails?
