I guess Bioware had to put Joker in that scene since they didn't know who on your squad would be left alive at that point, but it never made since to me that he was there shooting instead of one of my actual combat squad members.

He was shooting when the squad jumped aboard.

I'm not quite sure since I've never lost anyone during the SM, but is it possible to kill everyone else but Shepard. If your crew is processed into the human reaper and your squad gets killed, then Shepard would be only one alive meaning that Joker is only one who can be shooting in the airlock. So I guess they put Joker there because he fits in every possible situation, no matter who died during SM.

No. You have to get atleast two squadmates alive in order for Shepard to survive. 1 or none squadmates alive at the end, will result in Shepard falling to his death.

I suggest you trying to get the bad ending atleast once. It is pretty comical.

And TIM seems to be quite happy with that outcome too.  He got  his ship back.  Joker should have taken the Normandy back to the Alliance.  Espeically if you kept the base.  Which I did in the one time I did that ending.

Really? TIM is downright bothered by the fact that Shepard got killed again. He might be happy for getting the base, but he still is affected by it in a negative.

No need to do such a wasteful playthrough, you can just watch this video.

Didn't notice that. I was too busy paying attention to his downright evil smirk when he looks at a hologram of the collector base he now controls...

Maybe that ****eating grin was because I saved the base.  With that guy who knows.  I don't trust him as far as I can spit.  Which isn't very far.

Ladyvader does seem to get particularly worked up whenever the conversation shifts to TIM. She must really dislike that guy.

Thanks for the vid. Watched it, have to say that some of those deaths were pretty funny: Jacob getting headshotted trough that small crack and Grunt getting carried off by the seeker swarm. Shepard dying reminded me about the lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring where Gandalf dies in Moria, same kind of "Go! leave me save yourselves!" thing...

I like the way Tim thinks and putting humanity first but I don't like the way he acts, Jacks situation was really not needed, David as well, there must of been another way achieve that goal. Tim helps us push back harder agaisnt other races who push us around. I given the chance and had the resources then I would make a Cerberus myself, same goals, same target same motives but operate in a different way that doesn't threaten Humans as well.

Some of those deaths could've been made a little more dramatic. Well, Jacob getting a rocket in his face was dramatic but for some reason everyone found it funny. Somehow, even though I took the entire scene with a grain of salt, I couldn't laugh about any of it. Does that mean I don't have a sense of humor?:o

And the end scene with Shepard did sort of look like Gandalf's "death" in Moria. Would've been weird if Shepard hadn't said something like that though. And Shep's death wasn't THAT believable either. Gandalf was weakened by his fight with the demon so I can understand him not having the strenght to pull himself up. But Shepard, with all his training should easily have been able to pull himself up and get on board the Normandy:whistle:

No. While some of the deaths are comicly anticlimactic (lack of Thannix cannons being the best). The whole thing starts to get funny as a whole when you put it in perspective with the rest of the story. The bad ending is more or less a tragic-comedy.

To boil it down.

[ME2's start]
TIM: Shepard is an awesome leader who can anything and the only one able to stop the Reapers. That is why I am bringing him back.
[Cue ME2 bad ending]
TIM: Awww F""".

Actually Gandalf didn't just "die", he died for real, but he was sent back. But that's off topic.... And yes Shepard is an elite soldier, spectre and enhanced with all there cyborg thing so please BW he/she should be able to do 1 pull-up and if you're going to die    again    I bet you'll find some new powers inside you, no matter how tired you are, never heard about adrenalin and these other mysterious hormons running in your body? If an average woman can lift a car off of his son when that adrenalin kicks in, Shepard can't do 1 pull-up... Seriously...

To bring it all back to topic.

Wonder how Liara would react if Shepard got killed on the suicide mission. This is assuming LOTSB was not done and the relationship really never got fixed.

I am getting all depressed thinking about it. :(

Yes! Must see that in ME3.

Maybe Shepard protecting Liara from an army of husks, while he continuously fires his assault rifle, he shouts: YOU... SHALL NOT... PASS!!!!

You're 100% right. I would've preferred to see Shepard unable to jump all the way to the Normandy and some surviving squadmembers using... I don't care what... to help Shepard and the rest of the team on board. Without those squadmembers (bad ending where everyone dies) Shepard can't get on board. Joker tries to tell EDI to get closer to the base so Shepard can jump but Shepard waves him off, telling him to get out. After a while, Joker heads inside and the normandy takes off. Last scene shows Shepard blasting incoming collectors while the base blows up, looking at the Normandy one last time. -- RIP --

No no.. Shepard would say "Harbinger" with same voice Gandalf says "Balrog" and they would have this epic duel and Shepard shouts that YOU SHALL NOT PASS! thing then Shepard blows up Harbinger and that explosion destroys everything around them and wounded Shepard is hanging on a some kind of cliff or something and the Shep says "Fly you fools" and then he lets go of that cliff and Liara would make this Frodo scream "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" and Garrus would hold her and this is going too off topic now so maybe I just stop. kkthxbye.

It would be pure epicness if a few references were made to Lotr. Maybe the Normandy's power failing for a while when Harbinger pulls up next to the Normandy. Nobody knows what's going on so Joker shouts: Shepard! What's happening?!

Shepard is quiet for a while, then says with a very distinctive tone: Harbinger. A Reaper from the ancient world. An enemy that is beyond our ability to fight. WE MUST FLEE!

If a scene like yours happened with Liara shouting: Nooo! and Garrus having to hold her to stop her from jumping after Shepard then I think I'm going to need A LOT of tissues. Add some proper sad music and you've got all you need to get me to start crying.

I don't even want to think about that.  She'll mourn more. :( The one time I did that ending was with the default ME2 choices.  NO LI.  It was also the only playthrough I killed Samara and took Mornith.

Nah, gotta keep everyone alive.  Even Zaeed (::sigh::).  Why?  Because it is sure to make for a more interesting, relevant and impactful ME3 experience.

What this page needs is more Liara :):

I'm confused, I got that scene where Alenko and Liara ask about their relationship, but I've also seen on youtube scenes with Williams and Liara with fShep, how that happened? Gibbed?
