What kind of drinks are served in Ilium? Or the drinks known in ME? Do you think Liara would ever serve wine to Shepard?

Shot of liquor: The best asari hard liquor money can buy. Much more refined than that krogan swill.
Glass of wine: A sweet and mellow glass of famous asari honey mead.
Mystery drink: Whatever this is, is rumored to come from the deepest reaches of the Traverse, distilled on a shadowy nameless planet by specifically-adapted vorcha.

Thank you, I imagined something of Asari liquor (bc of the colors), but then changed to human wine. I'll keep the info for future reference to my err..project.

[mind dump]

grinding thru DXHR has eaten into ME2 time recently and im still not convinced its a good trade. i gave up on trial and error gameplay a long time ago and DXHR beats that dead horse bloody every 5 min

i like how ME games focus on the narrative: each ME2 class has weaknesses and strengths but DXHR can paint players into a corner with useless upgrades and dead end gameplay that make unexpected boss battles more difficult than they should be

[sorry but i have to vent a lil or imma end up throwin my my controller at the screen. i just wanna get thru this PoS so i cant send it back to gfly and get back to playin ME2 again]

I've yet to see an aquatic animal with ******, if you'll pardon my French. They seem more like sensory organs to me.

Also, I want to see asari in ME3 wearing hats. To keep dust and debris from accumulating in those creases on their head.

...Little details make all the difference.

Liara wearing a beret would be adorable.

awwww that would be sweet! Someone get a pic of that

Have a question....

With Conviction out... how will your Shep take the brig?

Charlie hates being locked up. Slum childhood and all that. She will definitely have a lot of time to think about Liara...

I don't know about the brig...but I imagine Leon Shepard's trial will be something like this.

E.W. Shepard is pretty tired ... emotionally, mentally & physically. She is almost enjoying the quiet time. If only the kid named Vega would stop asking her questions she would call this a temporary heaven.

She knows that others are worried about her from her grandparents to Liara and to be honest she wonders if she did the right thing regarding the batarians. She is wondering if this was just all one bad dream. And she is wondering how to stop that kid Vega from talking to her. Nothing against him, but she just wants peace and quiet at the moment.

Leia will deal with it.  She'll have Liara on her mind the whole time and hope Liara does what she asked her to do.  Which is to worry about the reapers not this farce of a trial.

Leia knows this trial is a farce, but she's an Alliance soldier and she will do her duty.  She's not happy about sitting in the brig, but she has enough faith that in the end.  Things will work out.

Leia Shepard also hopes her mother doesn't come to see her in the brig.  That would break her heart.  :(

Yeah, that trial is totally a farce. I mean, it's not like Shepard destroyed an entire batarian system or anything. :bandit:

Shepard did what needed to be done.  Did Leia like killing 305,000 batarians, no she did not.  If there was time to contact them a second time, she would have.  There was less than 30 minutes left when Shepard came to.

She had a choice, destroy the relay and slow the reapers down or let the reapers get to Earth in a matter of minutes.  Damn you, Dr. Kenson.

Quite possible.  Tali died on my first play through.  I was a ****** and picked Sarmara to lead the squad.  Mordin died while holding the line.

I see that one being one of the toughest play throughs for me in ME3 and my first.  That way I will know what not to do the next time.

If you steal food because you're starving, does that change the fact that you commited a crime? No, it does not. It may be a justified crime, but it is still a crime, and although you did it out of neccesity, that doesn't mean you aren't accountable.

Also, you shouldn't blame Dr. Kenson. She was indoctrinated.

You are also forgetting one thing.  Spectre status.  Leia is still a Spectre.  Shepard didn't point the astroroid at the relay.  Dr. Kenson's team did.  The Alliance is using Shepard to take the fall to appease the batarians.  The evidence is spotty at best.

The Council had Shepard hunt down Saren for far less. Spectres are only exempt from the law as long as they are protecting the Council's interests. They'll hang Shepard out to dry the second they hear about what he/she did.

Shepard is the one who made the decision to destroy the relay. It wouldn't have happened otherwise. Kenson may have enabled Shepard, but that isn't quite relevant to our argument about the Alliance trial, since Hackett had no idea what Kenson was doing. The Alliance doesn't want to get involved in a war for something they weren't knowingly involved in, and they certainly don't want to be fighting off Hegemony fleets when the reapers show up. Can you honestly blame them?

No, I don't blame them.

Eden Prime is in Alliance space there for in Citadel space.  The batarian colony is not in Council space, so they actually have no say.  Why do you think this trial in on Earth and not on the Citadel?

Hackett believes Sheaprd when it comes to the reapers.  He even admitted the Alliance isn't ready for them either.  Like I said, this trial is a farce.  It's just to appease the batarians, so the Alliance doesn't have to go to war with them at a time when everyone needs to be worry about the reapers.

No say in what? Weren't you saying Shepard shouldn't have to go to trial because he/she is a Spectre?

Pretty much, but our discussion wasn't originally about the validity of the trial. It was about whether or not Shepard should answer for his/her crime despite its necessity.

I don't think Shepard actually commited a crime.  The batarians are the ones complaining so the Alliance needs to appease them by throwing Shepard under the bus.

Hackett would give Shepard a medal if he could.

Even Vasir says Spectres will blow up buildings and kill innocents if it says more lives in the long run.  Which is exactly what Shepard was forced to do.

I believe otherwise, but the matter seems too subjective to debate.

Maybe we should speculate on the color of Liara's underwear instead. :?
