I believe otherwise, but the matter seems too subjective to debate.

Maybe we should speculate on the color of Liara's underwear instead. :?

Can someone give me a link to this Conviction thing?  I don't really venture off this thread because the rest of the forum scares me... :?

Have a question....

With Conviction out... how will your Shep take the brig?

Charlie hates being locked up. Slum childhood and all that. She will definitely have a lot of time to think about Liara...

Simple.
Shepard *while in the brig* : "EDI?"
EDI: "Yes Shepard?"
Shepard: "Tell Joker and Chakwas to head into the AI core, then seal off the door"
EDI: "Very well, Shepard. Anything else?"
Shepard: "Yes, open all airlocks..."

Ladyvader wrote...
Leia Shepard also hopes her mother doesn't come to see her in the brig.  That would break her heart.

Even if she never encounters Shepard, Captain Hannah (as I assume will ALL Alliance soldiers - Shepard is still sort of a hero within the Alliance after all)  will be well aware Shepard is scheduled for a political trial and will be in the brig for a while. Would be funny if, in case Shepard is a renegade, she expresses concern and says that 'Many people will be killed trying to apprehend Shepard'.

In short: Vega is on Omega. News is telling about commander Shepard's terrorist actions and how Udina denies Alliance involvement. Vega bashes that news monitor into thousand piecies and group of batarians are like "hey wtf human, you're a Shepard lover!" Then they just fight a few pages untill Anderson comes by and stops the fight "Lieutenant Vega, you're a hard man to find"  Then Anderson takes him aboard the Normandy where Shepard is held prisoner. The end.

Anderson also suggest that Vega would be guarding the brig - which may be relevant given Vega's recent record (a drunk on Omega) and his opinion of Shepard (hero in shining armour, cf earlier bar fight)...

Oh, I forget that part, thanks for adding it!

But here's a question, don't know if this is already being asked but here it is anyway. So Liara seems to be quite strong biotic and she also knows how to handle those powers but not only that she also knows how to handle small arms. So to me it looks like she have had some sort of training for those things I doubt that they taught that in the university. So where, why and when you think she recieved that biotic and small arms training. That's not something a regular archeologist would practise I guess, and if she's been on those dig sites for the last 50 years, she had that training before that, meaning she was very young, a kid, when she recieved her training. And I don't believe she recieved that kind of training just because she is the daughter of the matriarch. Or is it just that she is a natural talent?

She presumeably had trained her biotics as a means of self-defence given her importance as Benezia's daughter. Althrough I would point out that despite being based on the Adept in ME1, she had no gun training (it was replaced with electronics). Suggesting to me that she has little to no experience with the use of weapons.

Well I just meant that she knows how to shoot a pistol and a smg. If you stick a gun into a hand of a random man or woman, it's really unlikely that they even know how to hold it properly or aim not to mention shooting it.

I would chalk that up as gameplay/story segregation. Doubt they would have a squadmate solely relying on biotics. If I would put a reason behind it then I would say that she might have used a weapon one or two times when on the dig sites.

As for ME2. I could be justified with all the experience she has gathered though ME1.

Guess you're right. And I agree that it's quite obvious they wanted every squad member to be able to wield a gun but I was just thinking if she had recieved a little pistol training or at least shot a gun couple of times before she met Shepard, so that she knows how to use it.... just in case.

I thought there was some non-specific banter that related to Liara's time on dig sites and alluded to her having some weapons training?

Couldn't find a link though so quite possibly have no idea what I'm on about.

Hackett would give Shepard a medal if he could.

Even Vasir says Spectres will blow up buildings and kill innocents if it says more lives in the long run.  Which is exactly what Shepard was forced to do.

Officially yes, Shepard did commit a crime. The question is; was it justified? And that is the question that the Alliance and the Council wish to determine.

No, it was justified.  And because of that, no crime was commited.  This trial is nothing but to calm the batarians down to keep them from open war with the Alliance.

What evidence is there?  Those that fled the base before it hit the relay?  All of them have been indocternated.   All the batarians in the system are dead.

There are times I wish the asari Councilor would do a meld with Shepard like Liara did once she got on the Normandy.  She would then see exactly what happened and finally realize, Shepard's warning is quite correct.

Just here to vent how pissed I am at Liara. I always either never talked to her/got the "I'm interested in you Shep" convo, or picked "I just want to be friends" option. This time, I picked "you were wrong" and Shep said explicitly "I AM NOT INTERESTED IN YOU" yet here I am, many hours later talking to her and to my horror she starts talking about sex!!! Had to replay tons of UNC worlds just to get myself out of this ughhh! Surprised this wasn't fixed in either of the patches, so annoying!

Okay Shepard killed 300,000 batarians but if Shep would have let reapers invade through that mass relay he/she would have murdered every single living being in the galaxy (not literally murdered I know but anyways) so what he/she did was the right thing, problem is that hardly no one else knows that. But at least Shepard's concience is clear, not that it would help much though...

Haha this concience thing reminds me about this one James Bond movie where this turkish guy says to Bond "My concience is clear, how 'bout yours?!" That's something Shep could say to the jury  :P

Romancing Ash is good, my male Shepard belongs to her ... He gets to see another part of her that unfortunately you don't see just as "friends". That's why I am excited that they are suppose to be adding more "friendship" interaction in ME3. I know just as musch, if not more, about my best friend as I did my ex.

My male Shepard is still pretty protective over Liara, though. He considers her a really good friend and loves talking history with her.

EDIT: correcting typo Image IPB
