I always do Feros first.

The situation there just seems much more urgent, considering the colonists are actively being attacked by the Geth. Of course in game you are never punished for putting Feros on the back burner, but I can't come up with an in game reason why Shepard wouldn't rush to save the colony. Also, for all Shepard knows there is also a possibility that Saren is still on Feros.

What I imagine is that they only mention one of the three missions at that time. Not all three. Or why would you do all the little side missions? But because it is a game of choices they lay it out at the start for you the player to decide.

So if I pick going to Feros first it is because that was the initial direction. Then my Shepard planet hops for a few (side missions) ... then she reports in at the Citadel ... another mission is giving and so on.

The game has limits so I work around it ... like, there are more than three people fighting on a planet in my head. Example: On Noveria Shepard leaves Garrus and Tali at the main place to monitor while Wrex, Liara, Ash and a couple "No name will probably die" soldiers go to where Benezia is. The game is limited but my imagination isn't so I just fill in additional junk that makes the playing better to me.

Plus, Liara is alone. She's supposed to be a much easier target for Saren and his Geth than an entire frontline colony since they usually have anti pirate defences set up. Thus, it's easy to head for Therum first. Then Feros since the colony is in trouble. Noveria has a very low priority but I usually do it before Virmire simply because Virmire doesn't unlock more star systems, allowing me to do Virmire, then go to Ilos immediately after getting off the citadel, without having to skip any side missions.

I RP it as "i like Liara" so I always do it first.

I've done three playthroughs so far of ME1 and not once have I gone to Feros or Noveria first. I tend to do Noveria last for some reason.

Yeah, I never either leave her for last. And it's feels so weired doing Noveria and killing her mother first and then telling Liara what has happened. Ouch!

Sounds really creative from everyone. Anyone have any fan art of their own custom character that they dream of putting in mass effect 3? If you do post it in the forum of mass effect character push. It´s something I developed to actually make an attempt to catch bioware´s eye. Character appearance and a brief bio and then when i get enough characters, I will do polls so all of us can vote the best character. After that we can make a thread for the winner and try to push that character for bioware to put in .

BioWare will not add anything like that period.  Let alone at this late stage of dev.  They're going through the whole game now. 

They need to test heavy for this one to make sure there are no issues with importing from ME2.  1000 different variables is a lot and no other gameing company will ever do what BioWare has done with Mass Effect.   Even this dev team won't do it again.

Okay, I seem to have been well and truly converted. I always liked LOTSB but not ME1 Liara. But this time I switched up the mission order and dialogue options. She seemed more capable and assured less prone to fainting. It was Liara who told us what we needed to do next. For the first time I could really see ME1 Liara as a fit partner, rather than just an overly innocent and virginal bit of fanservice.
