That's interesting, which mission order did you followed?jtav wrote...
Okay, I seem to have been well and truly converted. I always liked LOTSB but not ME1 Liara. But this time I switched up the mission order and dialogue options. She seemed more capable and assured less prone to fainting. It was Liara who told us what we needed to do next. For the first time I could really see ME1 Liara as a fit partner, rather than just an overly innocent and virginal bit of fanservice.
Thank youjtav wrote...

Feros, Therum, Virmire, Noveria. So she's able to immediately make sense of the EP portion of the vision, do a mind meld while suffering from exhaustion, and tell you you need to find another beacon. Then she identifies Ilos after Virmire and tells you to find the Mu relay. So I felt as if Liara was guiding me step by step rather than being clueless until the last planet.
Good point, jtav. I never thought of it that way. After my first playthrough, I always got Liara first. Might change that next time. Thanks for having a grand ideajtav wrote...

My biggest problem with doing Feros first is that I find not putting Therum as a top prioty to be OOC. A colony is a larger community that can hold out for a time. But there will only be one certain Dr. T'soni.

All you're told is Benezia has a daughter who may or may not know something and may or may not be in danger (and might be working with Saren for all you know). The colony is being attacked right now.

I do Therum first, always. Like someone else said, Liara is a prothean expert and is being hunted down by Saren's geth.....rescuing her is vital to understand the beacon's visions.... Feros has the manpower to hold out, albeit for a time

I take Liara with me on Noveria but I've left her onboard a lot to....and that is weird.... has anyone else done that?
Other question
Would anyone care if I wrote more Femshep/Liara? In my case, Charlie would be first getting the news.... well...she's a 'father' in any case....

So if you take Liara with you to Feros what do you think is going through her mind as she watches Shiala get into your head with a mind meld ? I mean I know it's to save the galaxy and all but still, Liara just recently met and admits to having feelings for you and here you are melding with another Asari, right in front of her. Perhaps it's better to rescue Liara after Feros.

That's different. What Shiala does is simply connect their minds to transfer information, in this case, the Cypher from Shiala to Shepard. What Liara does with Shepard before arriving at Ilos is... well... different:whistle:
Well if so then why does Shiala come on to Shepard in ME2 ? I tend to think that mind melding is a little bit more than generic![]()

Did anyone left Liara at the Normandy when going to Noveria? I was curious about the dialogue. I always choose her since I think as daughter she deserves to see her mother.

Offtopic – Noveria seems to be a gift to renegades. My paragon has 9 marks, renegade only 1, achievements in 95%, and level: 35. But when trying to convince Qui’in to testify, I only have the renegade option (help him would result +25). I’ve tested several options and now I’m thinking in giving Opol’s package to Analeis to go to peak 15 and avoid side missions. I don’t know how I got more intimidate points than charm, with so many paragon/cooperative actions. Would I have to engage in long talks to unlock charm?
