I like the dominance idea. Then cheat with Jacob and grab popcorn.

I dob;t find her irresistible, and I imagine RenShep would find her a twit, albeit a useful one.

It happens, sometimes, to those with... strong opinions concerning race, that they find female members of other races attractive. Their opinions may even be related to that.

For my Shepard, it was a case of starting out pro-human, and then quickly becoming anti-anyone who isn't a part of the her crew (or a former member, like Anderson). Also, her being gay (and Liara the only lesbian-love option) kinda helped that decision.

I've seen them, but they aren't the inspiration. My lack of a Renegade was, as was my new found like of the romance in ME1.

@jtav - I don't play pro-human renegades so I can’t answer, but I'm curious if all pro-humans are necessarily xenophobic?

I'm also a PC player, had a console a lifetime ago but I also prefer keyboard/mouse. I intentionally chose my hardware for games, though only playing ME/ST. The only part missing is the video-card, I'm just waiting ME3 to buy one. So far my onboard is handling both games and recording. Which remind me, fraps recording of ME1 introduction resulted in 1.89 GB, plus the other sequences of 4.43GB. When creating the movie (10.2 minutes) with WMM it recommended a 68MB (720x480, 896kpbs), that seems a good quality/size for youtube. I'll use Camstasia today since it took 115 minutes to create the video, was wondering what specs you people use. Thank you.

I have a pro human Renegade and Liara is her everything.
The question is, why would she not fall for Liara?

What are her/his motives? Is the Renegade pro human, because she/he wants humanity to rule the galaxy or because, well he/she is human.
My Renegade is very fond of earth, it's where her home is, where her family is from, where her friends live. Humanity is her priority because she has a heart and isn't an objective robot.

A Renegade who wants humanity to have power, wealth and hates aliens, than well I wouldn't have an explanation for that, to be honest. It could be a physical thing maybe.

Need help here... Liara was born in 2077 and was 106 old when she met Shepard, in the year 2183. She studied the Protheans during 50 years, becoming a doctor/Ph.D, if that's correct. As I didn't read yet the comics or other information anyone knows or could guess the years she graduated?

The way I did it was because of attraction. You might believe in human dominance, and what to over throw the Council, but that doesn't stop you from being attracted to someone. Whether you like it or not.

However, my Renegon Shepard didn't take the romance seriously. Liara was just someone she spent the night with. Once Shepard came back to life, she intentionally didn't visit Liara until she had to for business reasons. In her mind, she was just someone she spent the night with. Nothing more.

I don't know that a pro-human Shepard would reject Shepard. It depends on Shepards values and how inflexible they are. If I had a pro-human Shepard then that Shepard would sacrifice Liara for humanity. My Shepards aren't like that though, they'd sacrifice humanity for Liara in a heartbeat. So I think it's more about the choices related to Liara that would affect the pro-human Shepard rather than the attraction.

This all goes out the window if the Shepard is anti-alien though.

I took Vasir's comment as snark and complete sarcasm.  Liara's degree is in archelogy.  Protheans studies.

I can recognize some words as 'the degree of', I think the word Bachelor fits better than Doctor, besides the image in the frame was stretched, giving perhaps the idea 2 words are one. The large word of her degree ends with g or y, sometimes seems Programming, could be anything as it's just a detail. Seven parts are ready; the lines between her name are the problem. I still think her bachelor could be in tech and her doctorate in Prothean technology, her studies in dig sites to find its remains, yes, no, maybe...?
