I can recognize some words as 'the degree of', I think the word Bachelor fits better than Doctor, besides the image in the frame was stretched, giving perhaps the idea 2 words are one. The large word of her degree ends with g or y, sometimes seems Programming, could be anything as it's just a detail. Seven parts are ready; the lines between her name are the problem. I still think her bachelor could be in tech and her doctorate in Prothean technology, her studies in dig sites to find its remains, yes, no, maybe...?

Tech could be a minor but I doubt it was her major.  She even knew about the yahg species because of her prothean studies.

Too bad we can't really read the diploma very well.  :(

Yes that's a shame. It would've been a nice detail if they had made it readable. That diploma wouldn't have required too much efort to make up IMO. That's something you can make up during a luch brake but it would've been nice extra bit of information about her for us fans and I guess something like that could provide usefull information for fanfic writers as well, reveal more about Liara's field of expertise: major, minors and such things...

Have you guys heard this news about scientists possibly finding these neutrinos which are moving faster than lightspeed? Maybe we should hint NASA to look for those prothean ruins on Mars and that mass relay located behind Pluto. Then we just need to find the Citadel and change our name to Shepard and become a Spectre and then go to Therum to find Liara. Haha, just kidding... sorry for the bad joke, couldn't help myself, Sunday evening and I'm just idling here in front of my PC and I just happened to found that funny, I'm sorry again :P

There is a group just created. Its goal is to gather and coordinate as many people as possible to ask Casey Hudson to bring back Liara's LOTSB face.

I did the cabin scene with Liara last night with my angry femShep. She calmed down enough to paragon her answers to Liara except for the how are you really doing because that Shepard is tired of dealing with Cerberus. Actually, all of my Shepards are tired of dealing with Cerberus.

Too bad Dr. Chakwas was still too upset to talk to Liara. Chakwas was the only survivor from the crew.

Does Liara respond differently depending on how may survived of the SR-2 crew survived? :o

The amount of depth LOTSB has regarding choices and events is pretty awesome. It is one of the few things I feel have not been appreciated enough.

About your plan...as my german friend says "zink positiff" at least her mother is alive :)
*sigh* Jann is still in Noveria...

Edit. I play last the IFF, and right after go to O relay to save as many as I can. In my first play though Chakwas was the survivor but I don't recall Liara saying she was angry...

Normally, I get the crew right away, but with this Shepard that hates Cerberus with a passion, she felt no need to get them right away and it actually helped her calm the 'f' down after the collectors took them.  It's how I RP it anyway.  She even stopped drinking after her puke session on the Citadel.  That scene made me laugh so hard too.  Seeing Shep drunk.

So, I don't know how much  it changes if you lose some but not all.   Chakwas did snap on Shepard for not getting there fast enough.  Then appologized for it after Shepard explained why it took so long.  That is going to be a Cerberus-free import.  Jacob got a rocket in the face and Miranda quits Cerberus then dies.

I did record that scene last night.  Liara said she tried to talk to Chakwas, but she was still hurting from what happened to the crew.  Shepard has yet to talk to Chakwas.

I know Chakwas snaps at you if you get there too late. But I thought you said that Liara will have a different line about Chakwas if she was the only survivor? Unless I misread you.

Small concern however: We've seen the radical things lighting can do to an in game face *Cough* Liara Illium Cameo *cough* so I'm wondering, with the improved and changed lighting system for ME3, will Lotsb Liara still look as gorgeous as she did in the DLC?:?

That they changed the lighting is my biggest concern for why they refuse to change it back. But honestly, her ME3 face is terrible.

That's exactly why I'm worried about her Lotsb face in ME3 as well. The current ME3 model is her ME1 face, which was always a bit lighter than her Lotsb look but still looked incredibly grey-ish in ME3. At anyrate, I could settle with her looking a little gray-ish while running around shooting so long as she retains that nice blue colour in cut scenes...

The screen shot with Liara, Shepard and the turian(general?) Liara skin looks very dark blue.  I just want Liara's LotSB eyes back.   Liara skin has a green hue to it when you are outside the SB Base.  So, we can expect her skin to vary in hue throughout the whole game.

The current ME3 face model isn't that bad IMO. It's pretty close to that original ME1 face only with better textures and other graphic stuff in general.

So I have no problem with that current one, but I guess we'll just have to wait until we get our hands on ME3 to see the final version.

Edit: And as said lighting plays a huge role in how characters look like, all of them.

True.  Miranda looks like she has facial hair when you talk to the quarian that sells salavage on Omega.  That makes Miranda looks horrible too.   :o

She always had dem eyes. Only in ME1 her eyes were light blue and in Lotsb they were very dark blue (just like they changed her skin tone from light to dark blue). Suffice to say I approve:wub:

That it is close to her ME1 looks is one reason why it is bad. No, I am not saying that she looked bad in ME1. But Liara as a character has moved beyond that. And wether it is the skintone or lighting does not matter, she looks pretty lifeless in the ME3 demo.

In ME2 I've seen my Shep's armor in every possible colors from neon green to red, while the real color was black or dark gray. So that's how much lighting can do. Same goes for Shep's face too, sometimes it looked orange or red etc. and the real skin color you can see in my profile pic. I don't know if that's just some "feature" in ME engine, because I haven't seen anything like this in any other game, where lighting would so radically change the color of the character or other item/creature. Of course lighting and shades affect on how things look but usually they won't chance the actual color of the object
