Both of those faces, that current more ME1 style face or LotSB style face, would do just fine for me, I like both of them and I'll like Liara and her looks no matter what. I'm just curious to see what kind of face BW will end up with in ME3. So as long as they won't make her yellow or something I'm fine with that ;)

I think Liara needs more...uh, blue(?) in ME3, or that's probably just the lighting. Either way, I'm good with the look.

One thing that I would really like to see expounded upon in Mass Effect 3 is interactions between Liara and her VI assistant. Namely, I would like to see how she reacts to it when taking into account her seemingly general dislike of VIs.

I disagree. LOTSB Liara looks like a proper updated version of the character.

The ME3 Liara looks like an updated version of the character.  The LotSB Liara looks like someone didn't like the character and decided to change her.

I don't see why people dislike Liara's Mass Effect 3 appearance, I like it so I don't mind If we have but the lotsb skin is alot better, as long as we don't have the Mass Effect 2 skin then I'm happy.

As long as Liara is in the game, I'm fine, I however consider LofSB a good skin, the details and texture were perfect, more realistic. Hope it could be used in ME3.

i liked Tali a lot in ME1 but was never a fan of Ashley. I always thought Liara was really cute so I opted for that romance. When she changed in ME2 I was really disappointed... but then I did her quest and found out she saved my life, has been chasing the shadow broker and still really cares... Then I just couldn't betray her by being with Tali, even though she's pretty awesome. Was really happy to see more development of the romance in LOTSB. Hope to see more Liara and expand on their relationship.

Indeed, the rest of the 'improvements' are just more advanced textures.

Though ME3's lighting doesn't look too good on Liara's face and makes her look grey instead. Though I imagine BW will have noticed that by now and will try to make sure she still looks blue. Thankfully, any romance scene and most of the conversations will probably take place on the Normandy, where the lighting will be different.

I may be wrong about this but didn't Bioware use a different model of her while she was wearing the white/blueish outfit. Way back in the it was explained that some "hooks" for DLC were built into the game during the initial development already. Mostly the beginnning and ending of the DLCs. The reason for that is a) that XBL and PSN have limits on how big DLC can be and this way they could save a few MB and B) because adding something where it doesn't belong appearently causes all kinds of problems.

What I am trying to say is: If this isn't all just in my head then the picture you linked is her "regular" ME2 model and the others where she is wearing white&blue is a model made for LotSB.

I could be wrong though...

I didn't post a pic of Liara from her cameo. I've yet to go through that recording to take a screenshot from it. I just posted ME1 and LotSB.

@robhuzz

I hope so, because the one demo she looks way too grey for my taste. Yuk, but then another screen shot her skin is very dark blue. But that won't matter to Leia, she stick with Liara regardless.

I liked her Lotsb skin texture, I think it added depth to her character ane it had me give thought to Asari evolution. Although her Lotsb eyes were beautiful and hypnotic at times they didn't seem quite real. I prefer her with pink lipstick because she appears softer to me.

Here's Liara outside the Shadow Broker's base. Greenish hue from the yellow background.

Shepard looked kinda grey as well, so the lighting is probably the deal. With Me2, everyone looked so clean and sparkly when on the normandy.

It's true Shepard did look a little weird. And I seem to recall even in the Squad screen, a character would be subject to lighting so Liara looking grey-ish definitely wasn't planned. I'm just wondering what they're going to do about it. Since all characters shown so far look a little off, I'm hoping they might alter the entire lighting aspect to make all npc's look better again.

@Ladyvader

We all know the lighting in Liara's office was just horrible:mellow:

Edit: I think she looks more 'mature/adult', in this one, plus her smile really improved, the major problem was the color, IMO.

Horrible isn't the word for it.  Image IPB  Not sure what word I would use, but I'm sure one is a word that would get censored.  :whistle:

The top pic is how it looks in game. Bottom one is how it should have looked if the lighting wasn't ****ty.

Shiala's color changed because of health issues, what if Liara was 'washed out' because she was sad, and later when Shepard returned she went back to full blue Image IPBImage IPB

I prefer the bottom... Liara needs her blueness back!
