I disagree. LOTSB Liara looks like a proper updated version of the character.

Indeed, the rest of the 'improvements' are just more advanced textures.
Though ME3's lighting doesn't look too good on Liara's face and makes her look grey instead. Though I imagine BW will have noticed that by now and will try to make sure she still looks blue. Thankfully, any romance scene and most of the conversations will probably take place on the Normandy, where the lighting will be different.

Shepard looked kinda grey as well, so the lighting is probably the deal. With Me2, everyone looked so clean and sparkly when on the normandy.

It's true Shepard did look a little weird. And I seem to recall even in the Squad screen, a character would be subject to lighting so Liara looking grey-ish definitely wasn't planned. I'm just wondering what they're going to do about it. Since all characters shown so far look a little off, I'm hoping they might alter the entire lighting aspect to make all npc's look better again.
@Ladyvader
We all know the lighting in Liara's office was just horrible:mellow:
Not sure what word I would use, but I'm sure one is a word that would get censored.

Found this at ME2 forum:
Edit: I think she looks more 'mature/adult', in this one, plus her smile really improved, the major problem was the color, IMO.

The top pic is how it looks in game. Bottom one is how it should have looked if the lighting wasn't ****ty.
