I still keep wondering why Liara keeps trying to grab her boobs.

Maybe its an asari game, score points for touching your boobs without anyone realising. *Liara standing behind Shepard in the lift* "ha, ten points" Get extra points if you can manage to touch someone elses boobs without getting a slap. "Just getting that bit of fluff off your top for you"

Hi guys, I might have a suprise for you fellow Liara fans... Let me know if you want some custom wallpapers on here I might have a few, on photoshop mostly.

Back on track though, these past days Ive been seeing a lot of hatred for Liara, first I thought these people were stupid.. no wait.. I still think that, but I realised the reason they hate isn't because she's a favourite, it's because her DLC stomped on everything and everyone else in both games.
Personally for me that dlc's ending was more epic that the final mission one.

I can't wait to finally get some sort of conclusion for this triliogy spanning romance. Absolutely ecstatic about it.

Found a bigger picture of Liara's alternate appearance in ME3 in another thread. Thought I'd repost it  here.

I must admit I vastly prefer her white/blue armor and probably won't be using the alternate armor for more than 1 side mission before switching back. What do you people think of putting that headband on Liara?

When I first say this picture when it was just Vega/Liara I didn't like it.  I still don't.  I do hope this isn't the final look for Liara, because I will never use it.  I do like the ones for Kaidan/Ash/Vega.  Those look good, but Liara's is just fugly.  I don't like the color of her armor and I don't like the headband.

I suppose I can't fully blame them either. If for some odd reason Jack got her own bridging DLC and Shepard acted like they were best friends in there, I suppose I would also be upset because it seems you can only get on Jack's good side if you properly romance her. Liara is obviously very different and she can become a good friend regardless of how you treat her. Liara sacrificed everything to get Shepard back, Shepard should be grateful and is usually friendly/concerned about Liara in Lotsb and people are still complaining.

Perhaps if they had designed Lotsb to have two routes. The friendly/LI route (with slightly extended dialogue for those who romance her) and an unfriendly route in which Shepard is only in it for own gain and to get revenge at the shadow broker for trying to sell him to the collectors. That would've solved a..

Lol who am I kidding? Most people are just upset because their favorite characters didn't get their own DLC.

I can honestly say I've never seen that before nor anything like it in ME1. I have no theories other than... perhaps accentuation? Possibly ease of design I have no idea... strange bugs or glitches... I just... yep got nothing.

I am suprised at the amount of people who did not know of this specific Liara "idle" animations. I admit I am also somewhat puzzled over why she does it. It must be an Asari thing because Samara does it too!

I suppose I am not paying close enough attention to the little things because I've never notice Samara doing it either. =]

Seconded. I never saw Samara doing this. Gotta pay more attention during my next ME2 playthrough (still at least a month away but I'll make a note about that:P). Liara actually has another animation as well. There she rubs the side of her neck, then goes down all the way to her underbelly.

I'm led to believe this is pretty common among Asari and not weird in the slightest. Liara states they (Asari) are much more comfortable showing their sexuality than humans so among them, rubbing their front may be as normal as humans scratching a part of their face.

Again. Samara shares that idle animation too. So the theory of it just being something Asari do seem to be quite plausible.

Quick update on the picture posted earlier (The one showing alternate appearances for Liara, Kaidan, Ashley and James Vega) though most of you will probably have figured this out by yourselves. Chris Priestly said the following about it:

Chris Priestly wrote...

I was wondering when these would surface.

These are concepts (so may not be final) of the weapons and appearances available in the Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3. They were given out to a bunch of retailers some time ago. I guess they weren't called out previously as they are not final and maybe the retailers didn't want to show art that wasn't final?

Just posting this to clear up potential reactions like: "But I thought Liara would look like she did in Lotsb!! *Sad face*"
Guess we can conclude from this we probably won't have any idea what Liara will actually look like until early next year...

Don't worry I saw it, but it's a pretty rare animation.

I really do hope they bring back the LoTSB face for Liara, it would suck to see it go back to normal all of a sudden. But honestly, Liara is awesome any way, so it doesn't bother me that much.

For some reason on the alternative model Liara has the LotSB eyes, bright blue and beautiful, but not on her regular model that was introduced during E3, I really hope Bioware doesn't go this way and actually changes her basic model to the LotSB with blue lips (or lipstick) and bright blue eyes. and make the alternative skin classic Liara with pink lipstick and not so blue eyes.
But in the end I am just glad she is back as being a squadmate. ME2 was so disapointing when I found out she was only a cameo :-/

Not sure whats the point of that is. That Liara also looks awful in Ashley's armor?

Someone complained that they should switch. So I did a quickie. I don't like Liara in that costume, but I do think Ash should get some sexy Heavy armor.

They considered it armor compared to Ash. I agree with that statement.

Ah I suppose it is more than Ashley is wearing at least.  I hope Ashley has the option to wear thicker stuff as well, I've read that there was a developer tweet that indicated as much.

Anyways to be more on topic, I'm wondering if any Liara fans have any insight on something that has me a bit puzzled:  During LotSB, Liara says that she doesn't want to put pressure on Shepard when talking about starting up a relationship again.  I understand that she is being selfless and considerate by saying that, but I'm still confused by it.  To get to that point, Shepard has to push for them to get back together.  Either by kissing her or asking about their relationship status, or both.  Shepard also has to be the one to ask "about us" after killing Vasir if the topic is to be brought up at all.  My point is Shepard has to be the one to push the issue for it to even get that far, yet she seems reluctant to "put pressure on you,"  with Shepard being obviously interested.  Then she seems disappointed if Shepard just wants to be friends!  Its like she's playing hard to get.

She needs you to push you two back together again. She doesn't want to put pressure on you. If you don't want to get back together, it's your call. She doesn't want to force you.

But she also afraid to jump back in. She wants you. She loves you. But you died. And you might die again. Or might simply never come back. So she needs you to tell her to come back, and she needs you to tell her this is going to stick. She needs your support when it comes to love. Everything else she can be independent, but on that subject, she needs your support.

Thanks for the response! I know she doesn't want to force Shepard, but Shepard pretty much has to make it obvious by that point that he/she is interested. I suppose it is better to completely clarify things. Although, I didn't consider that she is reluctant to be hurt (again) by Shepards death, at least not at that point. Taking in account the later bits of the rendezvous aboard the Normandy, that makes perfect sense.
