I wonder have you people ever asked this question. What was Benezia to Saren. It seem the game never confirms or denies wether they were just friends or just an ally or lovers.

They mirror Shepard and Liara alot.

if I remember correctly that question is mirrored in the game itself.

Kaiden: killing Saren's... what was Benezia anyway? second-in-command? advisor? it should set him back a bit.

Kaidan saw Benezia as an equal to Saren, or slightly lower in the rank. Seriously though, Benezia was just Saren's (actually Sovereign's) servant. Nothing more. After she took the information from the Rachni Queen, she was as disposable to Saren as a common Geth trooper...

True enough, that is also the impression I got from Benezia in the short term she has free will again. I doubt there was anything beyond indoctrination between them, at least after a short while.

I love this pic, it's just so beautiful. The scene and everything are great and the artist has really managed to capture the mood and the feelings here. And on top of everyting else the painting itself is a masterpiece. If art museums and galleries were full of this kind of paintings I'd happily spend all my free time there

guys, is it just me or is barrier in ME2 bugged? it's meant to last 60 seconds so I apply it about 5 seconds before entering combat but it seems to expire really quickly regardless of whether I lose my shields or not?

oh, and playing an adept is fun as hell, no wonder liara is such an amazing squadmate

Also makes biotic squadmembers a lot more useful if you ask me. Add Jacob, Samara or Jack to use pull and Shepard can warp bomb a lot of people. Shepard for singularity and Miranda for Warp is also a very nice combo. And of course Singularity as an instant husk killer is priceless.

As adorable as ME1 Liara was, I really prefer the more grown up LoTSB Liara.

She still has the cute factor, but with a little less naivety and a little more snark. I hope they keep it up in ME3 and let her have some banter with Shepard, especially since Mara is a sarcastic brat.

I know exactly how you feel! Being an Adept is simply the greatest and biotics always work so well with other biotics. This is the exact reason I always had Liara and Kaidan on my side in ME1. 

Kaidan steals all the paragon remarks from Liara so I usually just take Liara with me, and Wrex...because....well. No explanation required actually...

I took him on a few playthroughs when Liara wasn't on the team. Even took him with me to Ilos once, at that time I didn't know he would make Liara into a renegade. Since Liara is ALWAYS on my Ilos team, that was the last time Kaidan got to see Ilos.

The best two people to take with you to the final battle on the citadel (looking at dialogue) are Liara/Ashley imo. Liara as a full blown paragon sees that, in order for humanity to gain the trust of the other races, they must do whatever they can to help, so no sacrificing the council if Liara has anything to say about it. Ashley on the other hand is understandably frustrated with the council and feels they've never done anything right, and that sacrificing human lives for those 3 ungrateful *censored* is a waste.
