Yes that's exactly what I meant when I said the artist has managed to capture those feelings. The painting is made so well that you can actually see and sense those feelings by looking at it. Not every artist can do that.

I've made that mistake as well, I had to re-do a playthrough because of it.

Liara/Miranda is not a confrontation I'm keen on seeing, that's why. I like Liara's romance in ME2 from a technical standpoint, but I do romance others.

You all have made me brave enough to venture out onto the rest of the board and read other threads.  I was thinking about the S/S romance discussion thread but I was wondering if its a nice place like this thread or if its a lot of flamers and fighting.

I stopped going on that thread because there were certain individuals on both sides of the aisle that brought "angry" luggage and the same arguments go round n' round. Maybe it has become nicer but I wouldn't know. I now try and stay on happy threads. Let me know what you find!

BioWare keeps everything revolving around Miranda an absolute secret. I wouldn't be surprised if there's no confrontation between ME1 LI and Miranda at all. Personally I don't expect much of a confrontation, probably the same as in ME1. Both LI's force you to choose one of them. End. Though this time if you suggest a threesome, Shepard gets shot. Or in case of Liara, hit with a biotic field and then put in a coffee cup.

I wouldn't know. I avoid any kind of thread that even remotely touches the subject of S/S romances.

That would be either extremely brutal or extremely boring.

We know for sure than Miranda takes it like a boss even when Shepard rejects her at the very last second. While Liara is more "heartbroken" on the outside, she accepts it but still does everything in her power to aid Shepard.

If romanced, Shepard evokes feelings neither Liara or Miranda felt for anyone before and it changes them.
It would be amazing if the two women - each with their own issues - who've been through so much in their lives would get to fight for one that matters most to them. Would be epic if Miranda displayed her overprotective side and Liara her ruthless side - whatever it takes for Shepard to stay with her. Ahhhh, one can only hope.

Meh I've been home, studying, for most of the day. But without any reactions from you guys, it's no fun on this topic. Talking to yourself on a public forum is... well...awkward to say the least.

ETA: @ PMC: The images you posted don't seem to work for me. I refreshed the page several times and the bottom picture showed once. Now there's nothing again.

Indeed. I had the thoughts of what to write in my fanfics for atleast six months now. But I was not able to write it down. Almost like I had to get that spark before I could even start it.
