That would be either extremely brutal or extremely boring.

We know for sure than Miranda takes it like a boss even when Shepard rejects her at the very last second. While Liara is more "heartbroken" on the outside, she accepts it but still does everything in her power to aid Shepard.

If romanced, Shepard evokes feelings neither Liara or Miranda felt for anyone before and it changes them.
It would be amazing if the two women - each with their own issues - who've been through so much in their lives would get to fight for one that matters most to them. Would be epic if Miranda displayed her overprotective side and Liara her ruthless side - whatever it takes for Shepard to stay with her. Ahhhh, one can only hope.

Well, it's not that. Miranda knows exactly why Liara's distant, so it's very difficult for me to do the triangle in a way that doesn't make Miranda look like a complete jackass. And I'd prefer they didn't fight over him.

At this point I feel nobody but Shepard is actually good enough for Liara. I don't have a non Liara mance playthrough so I'd never have to put up with it but I just can't picture Liara with anyone but Shepard. My answer is simple: If Liara is not with Shepard, I can see her being with no one. It's not like it's a bad thing. Liara is a maiden, they don't usually want to settle down with someone already. Shepard is the only one who awakened those feelings within Liara and if he doesn't return them, I can picture Liara remaining by herself for a good while (probably dating a few people but never staying together for long) and not settle down at all until she's far into her matron stage.

Tali, mostly just because. Also because it seems like Asari/Quarian sex could happen without the whole risk of death thing.

I never thought of her with Liara in that way ... as friends yes. I did read a fan fic on a dalliance that I thought was interesting though. It could work.

I think Miranda could be a good match for her.

Feron seems to be a good guy and i wouldnt mind if non-romanced Liara get together with him in ME3, but if i could choose, i would pick Miranda first

Awwww, this. Liara and Tali are hands down two most adorable characters in all Mass Effect.

Though it's difficult to imagine either of them being with someone other than Shepard, since they've both been madly in love with Shepard since their first mission on Normandy 2 years ago.

Liara even states herself that Miranda is cold and kinda dislikes her in Redemption. And they're totally opposite.

I agree 100% about Liara/Miranda, but that's like the worst reasoning ever. The opposites attract - I've seen plenty of relationships that worked so well just because the ones involved were so different - they each have what the other needs.

Well true, but it's Miranda and Liara we're talking about.

Yeah, when I think about it it sounds kinda quitw with their personalities, but in the end, I just see Liara turing her down.

Liara cares about Shepard a lot even if Liara isn't Shepard's LI, maybe even too much if she'll never get anything in return. So for me it's hard to see Liara with someone else if she's not with Shepard. At least not with any of the characters that we've seen so far.

Not really, i have the comic and in no place i saw she disliked her or thought she was cold. The interaction was more of mutual cooperation.

They're not that opposite. Both are scary smart and riven and they both are extremely passionate about humanity/Protheans. Both are loyal to a fault and will go to extreme lengths to protect loved ones. Liara also seems to have acquired more than a few of Miranda's personality traits in LOTSB.

Will it ever be canon? No. Can it work? Well, people seem to like my stuff.

I meant that if you've romanced Miri and  play LotSB, Liara states that she was very cold and only focused on the mission. And well Redemption you can look differently, but I didn't see anything postive in it.

But this is just my opinion.

It's not that I dislike Feron, I just don't see him being a good match. But then we only see him tied to a chair and then weak and limping. Not a great first impression.

Maybe in ME3 we will get to see him in a better physical state. Of course E.W. Shepard will put his drell butt back into that chair if he goes after Liara romantically. Or at least a boot to the head!

I can't really see her with anyone but Shepard, it just seems wrong to me.
I don't think she would even have any interest in a romantic relationship of any kind had it not been because she became interested in Shepard, first scientifically and then later romantically.

Liara is still very young. The fact that she WOULD settle with Shepard at this age if given the chance speaks volumes about her feelings and level of devotion.
