The statue looks better in color and it is well made, but still not my cup of tea. I'm sure they will sell tones, but I do hope they make a realistic looking Liara at some point. Hell, I'd prefer a Mego Liara to this!

Of course. And saying the statue looks nice is also entirely subjective.

What I don't get, is this "it's the style" thing being tossed when someone says they found the statue hideous. That piece living up to whatever style standards is living up to doesn't invalidate how it's perceived.
"It's the style" is not a shield against criticism.

I guess Cannibal Corpse could make a version of Beatles' Penny Lane. And most people will hate it. Saying "it's the style" doesn't invalidate how they feel about it.
