How do you think Kaidan feels then, he was more paragon than ME1 Liara

During Lotsb she was mostly renegade due to her anger at the Shadow Broker and his agents. I didn't really approve of it that much, but I understood. After Lotsb she settled down a little more again. Though instead of becoming the pure paragon Liara we saw in ME1, she became a paragade, and I'm just fine with that. All my Shepards are mostly paragade as well so it's a perfect fit between them. As long as she doesn't become more renegade in ME3, I'm fine with how she is at the end of Lotsb.
Speaking of Lotsb... It's about that time again:D
I want Liara more renegade, more like her mother, only more fun and sarcastic.
I'm not too fond of playing as a renegade. Tried it once but I didn't like being a jerk to everyone for no reason, so I never even finished my ME1 renegade playthrough. Being a paragade is much more my style, so I wouldn't be particularly happy if Liara pulled a 180 and is completely renegade in ME3. And that's putting it mildly.

As far as I know, only during the final confrontation. On Noveria it is him who asks Shepard to kill the Rachni Queen. It would have been better if they had allowed the squadies to have their own opinions instead of the paragon/renegade angels.

To each his or her own, I would prefer that she either remained as she is now or reopened to her innocence again now that the Shadow Broker no longer haunts her thoughts.
Paragon or paragade suits her better in my opinion... and match my shepards' personalities much better as well.
Liara's Alignment:

Renegade Liara while badass is not my cup of tea

Paragon however

So actually my Paragon is far more ruthless then my Renegade, which is kind of odd. ;D
When I choose Liara for a mission in ME3, I want her to have her sarcastic moments, even a little bit of badass shooting enemies in the face, kind of thing. But when my Shepard is talking to her alone on the Normandy, I want her to show a more sensitive side.
That's what's so great about her.

So, any news on Liara today? Everything is all about multiplayer these days (Crying shame it had to infect ME as well but what can you do huh...). I just hope with this finally out of the way, there's time to get some info on Liara, though not too much. I don't want to see any plot spoilers, and since Liara will probably be very critical to the plot, maybe less info on her is better.

Nope no new Liara info.
Worst case scenario. New info regarding the single-player part will be pushed back in favor of multiplayer info.
Hopefully the single-player won't suffer. That would mean less Liara!

There's 2 things I'm terrified of right now:
1. Parts of single player being reserved for Co-op -- I would freak out if this were the case.
2. ME3 now requiring Origin to install and play. -- I will never let that worthless piece of ..... near my system - NEVER.
Don't know which is worse, both would completely ruin ME for me.
This picture sums up what I think of Multiplayer in ME3:

The MP confirmation has really dented my eagerness to get ME3 now. I also thought it was just BS how Bioware tried to make out so long that they weren't really bothering with multiplayer but purposely chose not to state explicitly "ME3 won't have multiplayer" just so that they could now turn around and say it does without anyone being able to say "yeah well you said ...".
It's just deceptive.
I agree, Casey said 'we're focussing on the best single player experience' during E3. While he didn't outright deny multiplayer, he clearly made the impression that ME3 will only have single player. I feel lied to now. The devs tweeted that it'll be a different form of multiplayer and that many people will actually like it. Since my opinion of a multiplayer element can't possibly fall lower than it is now, I might as well sit tight and see what it is.
I'll never be using ME3 multiplayer anyway because for that you'll probably need Origin and Origin + my pc = no!

Methinks it would probably be like playing as the Locust Queen in GOW3 multiplayer; I just want to stare at her all the time.

1) No amount of multiplayer is going to stand between me and the Blue Goddess.
2) As for Liara's alignment: PRO-SHEPARD. Yes, in all caps.

IIRC, Origin might be required to install ME3, but never to play it.
Even installing it and then uninstalling for 5 minutes is out of the question. I do not want that software near my pc.
@Roland
That's a nice way to describe Liara's alignment. Paragon or Renegade or anything in between, it doesn't matter. Liara goes where Shepard goes and in reverse. Always.
ETA: Just finished Lotsb. Doesn't matter how many times you play it, it remains equally amazing every time.

That would actually be pretty cool. I'm just taking a "wait and see" view on this ME3 multiplayer business though, for all we know it could just be mindless shooting with generic characters with a different race being used for each class (asari biotic, human soldier, quarian engineer, krogan shock trooper and whatever)

I would not have anything aginst playing as Liara in a sidequest like the squadmates in Kotor II or joker in Me2. But I would not play as her for an extended period, I cant romance her if I play as her
And I would under no circunstances what-so-ever allow another player to be Liara in my game.
Even if it was just in combat. Just no.
I just can't see the point in multiplayer. Either as a seperate feature with shep vs. shep fights and certainly not as co-op: this is my game I don't need another player beside me to enjoy the experience, and it would be akward to say the least in non-combat and especially romance situations if anyther player is not only present but actively playing as well.

Co-op would be fun playing with a few friends and if it was side missions, sans Shepard ... sweet!
Say, going off as Liara to Thessia or Wrex on Tuchanka. I can see the possibilities of this being a good addition to the Mass Effect experience if done right. I'll just wait and see what happens. Hoping for the best!

I'd hardly say I'm excited for it. Well no, I'm not. First thing I'm doing is taking my sweet time with the campaign. Then replaying it.
Then I'll come back here to spread my sqealyness about the Liara romance.
