Eh, I still can't get over it's being done. In ME3.
I'd hardly say I'm excited for it. Well no, I'm not. First thing I'm doing is taking my sweet time with the campaign. Then replaying it.

Then I'll come back here to spread my sqealyness about the Liara romance.

Just think of it as another option in how to play in the ME world. It isn't a forced play ... just an option.

To be honest, I'm not a multi-player person but I have found that I do like co-play because it allows me to play with friends and lil' brother.

With all the people you get to know on the BSN it would be kinda cool to do a co-play on say Thessia with a few Liara fans. To be able to fight the enemy together on a side mission that does not impact the main story could be fun.

But then everyone can see how I really 'suck' on the combat part of the game. Posted Image

Ehhh. I just think it is doomed to fail by the virtue that I will hate if the co-op will have story elements that you can't experience in single-player. But if there is no story elements, why the hell am I even bothering with Mass effect to begin with. I would much rather play battlefield instead.

But hey. I might be wrong and the co-op will be good. Perhaps you and I can suck at the co-op campaign together PMC65! :D

Devs tweeted it would be 4 player standalone co-op mode not affecting the campaign at all. If I were to guess I'd say you won't play Shepard at all in the co-op. Could be 4 alliance marines on earth, fighting husks and other reaper forces. I guess that's why a dev (forgot which one) said the fight for earth was both in the single player and co-op.

Guess I don't mind that. As long as Origin isn't required to install ME3 and the single player has no flaws that can be traced back to lack of dev time. In that case, I'd go ballistic...

Pfff, I'd only be interested in the multiplayer if we were able to play other species. Being alliance marines would just be ... God, more humans to play as?

I have ordered both the PC and XBox versions.

It's easier to play on the PC to me but I still run from the enemy at times and scream like a little girl when the husks come at me, especially on Horizon. I can only imagine how harder they are going to be to kill in ME3. And the Cerberus guys with the shield-things were kicking my butt on the demo. Yep, if you don't mind playing with the "lame duck" I'm game! I figure by the time I've played the single-player a few times it would be nice to try something new. You can even play Liara if she is the leader in a co-op game. I want to be Wrex!

Oops, should I admit that part underlined? Posted Image

Don't worry about that. I get shocked pretty easily too.

I tell you what. We play co-op together. With microphones turned on and fraps recording. Then release on the internet!

Okay, that would not be so bad, a kind of survival or go save civies thing. I can do that. as long as the story is not impacted if one choose to play without. if Shepard and the squad is restricted to single-player and they finish the game properly and we that choose play the game as (in my opinion) it was meant to be played without losing anything I'm game.

Watching these pictures makes you think about sex. And I still can't get the idea of asari probably not having human erogenous zones out of my head. I wonder what Liara though about sex with Shepard for the first time. Probably what Shepard would think about Liara asking to stick her finger in his/her nose or ear, because it is a part of her sex process. lol

Not too many games have made me do anything remotely close to that, at least in recent years, until I played Gears of War 3. The momma Corpser madly scuttling around had me shielding my eyes and almost screaming.

seeing femshep and liara together doesnt always bring dirty thoughts to mind immediately. for me it usually starts with warm fuzzy memories of shooting things with big guns and rarely ends with xxx fanfic material. not for me at least, obviously some ppl dont feel the same way about the baby blue bombshell

If you're not afraid of bugs like I am it probably won't be too scary for you. (I wonder if those to characters on the far left and right are multiplayer characters?)

LOL!!!! Why does Tali sweat come to mind? I guess the asari sexuality is up to the player unless a writer at Bioware wants to speak on the subject ... Posted Image

Well, from LotSB, we can deduce that the lower back region seems to be an erogenous zone, and Aethyta's comment about how she prefers asses may have it extend lower. I doubt that asari have genitalia as most other species would know it... I'm unsure about the breasts. I have a feeling that the scalp is one, though.

I'm not ... I hate dead zombie like things. Bad husks! To be honest, I am looking forward to the co-op and really hoping that it is done well. Playing with others in the ME world would be most excellent. As long as I know the individuals and they don't mind my amazing ability to run, hide and die!

If you haven't read "Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War and 4 player co-op multiplayer announced" by Chris Priestly

http://social.biowar...3/index/8481789

It has a FAQ section on the co-op part and is an interesting read overall.

I can't find the thread where I read it but apparently it was confirmed that there will be no forced squad member deaths in ME3. How I managed to miss such an important confirmation is beyond me. Anyway, I guess this means I don't need to worry any longer about Liara in ME3. IF she gets hurt, it'll be my own fault at least and it'll be avoidable.
Best news I've heard in a few days:pinched:
