I can't find the thread where I read it but apparently it was confirmed that there will be no forced squad member deaths in ME3. How I managed to miss such an important confirmation is beyond me. Anyway, I guess this means I don't need to worry any longer about Liara in ME3. IF she gets hurt, it'll be my own fault at least and it'll be avoidable.
Best news I've heard in a few days:pinched:
Where did you read that exactly?
And damn. More bad news? <_<
Even though it's not nearly as bad as I thought and I'll reserve judgment for now, I'm still not, nor will I ever be, fond of multiplayer in ME3. To make matters worse, it seems ME3 retail version will require Origin to install and if that wasn't enough, I'm guessing Priestly also lied about the prothean squadmember not being in ME3. So we're getting ME3 with multiplayer, requiring spyware to be istalled on my pc to even play and we're most likely getting a cheesy 'Prothean survived in stasis for 50.000 years, holds a weapon and has a plan to defeat the reapers' plot. I'd say that fits my definition of bad news.
Sorry for that, ever since this whole Origin and multiplayer debacle, I'm a little edgy.
And I read the thing about no forced squadmember deaths in a thread yesterday. Problem is, I saw so many threads yesterday that I have no idea in which thread I saw it. Maybe someone can tweet Casey about it, I'm sure he's had his fill of multiplayer questions by now.
I kind of doubt the veracity of this "no forced deaths" thing, but if it's true, kudos to Bioware.
Good chance it's true. BioWare seems to like making all characters equal in ME. Plus they can expect massive rage if one or two particular squadmembers always die in ME3. Particularly if that squadmember is a LI (which is most of the squadmembers out there)
