Is that you, Shodan?

If you are talking to me then no, if you were talking about the artist of that picture then I have no idea Posted Image

Sorry, Tali.

Tali is thinking "Nah, thats cool. It's not like I'll die if this glass mask gets broken. You two just have fun, I'll lie in the corner and cough a lung or two out. Have fun!"

That scene made more sense when I played it. I had Grunt with me. I'm honestly surprised that even phased him.

Normally the scene moves much too fast to really see what happens. Screencaps like these are the only time I can see Shepard actually grabs Liara and pushes them both out of the way - Sorry Tali - Normally it just looks as if both jump out of the way just in time but it's actually only Shepard who sees it coming. The scene is especially funny for those who don't romance Liara. Shepard pushes Liara out of harms way but leaves the other (even if it's their LI) to be crushed by a table:pinched:

It always made sense in my games Posted Image

That scene was one of my favourite (but again so were nearly all the others in LotSB) and  I really liked the fact that the fight was fought with only you and Liara.

*Sigh* I haven't just realised it, but the Liara thread is going so slow now. We're lucky to get even one or two pages through in a day. I miss the liveliness it had not too long ago...

You know, I really wonder if there's some mod out there somewhere that lets me keep the highest level of Renegade scars even at full Paragon. I just think it'd be interesting to see, especially in the romance scenes with Liara.

That is in fact possible. Althrough it requires you to mod your game files (so  have an uneditet copy at hand in case it goes wrong).

I can't remember the precise details. But you need to edit your coalesced file. You also have to use wordpad +.

And it won't do things like screw up interactions with Samara? That's why I don't just give myself a ton of Renegade points.

No. The code your are changing is what scars Shepard will be given depending on her morality. Your are not telling the game that Shepard is a renegade, just that she should be given renegade scars. ;)

It has been a long time since I have done it myself. Give me a few minutes and I will make a new post detailing it.

What is missing? I was not around when things were livelier so I can't really tell. Is the people who used to come here mising or have we exhausted every possibly subject concerning ourbeloved alien?

I certainly don't hope Liara has lost much of the love of her fans here Posted Image

Well, I know that one of our most prominent compatriots left the BSN entirely because he started hating the place... that probably didn't help.

Oh nothing major, I wasn't exactly here either, but it just seems a lil'empty. Some people are just not as active as they use to be, but that's understandable of course.

Bah, or maybe I'm just not cruising in here with you all as much as I should be .

I think that what we're missing here are subjects, you know what to talk about. This thread has already covered so many things about Liara. At least that's what I think.  I've also noticed that it seems to be a bit empty here atm but still I come many times a day to check up if there's something new here :)

It's more that there's little new information coming out right now. Every time something involving the plot (or certain characters) got released to the public, activity on this forum skyrocketed. Since we've had no single player announcements lately, only multiplayer, people are only fussing about that, not discussing Liara.

Frankly, we've discussed almost everything that even remotely involves Liara so we'll need something new to talk about.

@Xil.

Got your scars right here!

1: First of all you're going to need Notepad++.

2: go to C:\\Program Files\\Mass Effect 2\\BioGame\\Config\\PC\\Cooked and open the coalesced file with Notapad++

3: In the file, search for scars. Look for the line that starts with "Scars=(Threshold=(X=-10,Y=-2)" should be line no. 4171.

4: All the numbers that go from _01 to _05 (05 being the uber renegade scars) are the scar levels. If you wish preserve the scars throughout the game no matter your morality, change them to 05.

5: If you want to get rid of the "eye implant" effect,
go to the end of the code where you'll see "HMF_Eye_EmisScars", and just
change all the numbers to _01.

6: Save the file and start the game up. Enjoy!

Note: Sheploo is unaffected by this for unknown reasons.

It is true. But Sheploo is unaffected by this. Kinda annoying since that the face that I use.

I would also make a guess and say that the new ME3 default Femshep face will be unaffected.

Sorry, Tali.

That scene does happen fast.  And Shepard saving Liara and not their LI is another reason they rage on Liara.  Liara is standing to Shepard's right side and slightly in front where the other squad member is behind Shepard and to the left.  Who jumps backwards to save someone when the table went over Shepard's left side.

What I found weird was the table and squaddie was missing from the room when Shep and Liara were fighting the SB.  They returned during the cut scene.  :pinched:

Were they? I though I saw the squadmember laying on the ground doing my fight, can be that I remember wrong though.

I've ran around the whole room, they are not there.  Nor is the mess that used to be the table.  Cut scene and Shepard picks up some of the mess then walks to the fallen squaddie.

It's been a month since I played it and I too, could be wrong, but I have yet to see them.  The broken table should also be there.  Hard to miss that.

It's a small detail the devs missed.

I do enjoy fighting the yahg only with Liara though.  It proves to me(anyway) that Shepard and Liara together are unstoppable.  It was even better that Liara was the one to finish him off.
