How far off the straight and narrow path do you think Liara went during those two years before Shepard returned to her?
I mean she said she "had" connections, and even a some hired muscle.

I would guess she has blackmailed people and have ordered assasinations and theft.

Oh I didn't say they didn't have it coming.. after all it was most likely Shadow Broker people she was dealing with. Just wondering what awful things would our heroine go?

SB agents?
She is perfectly willing to do it in ME2.

Possible. But I wonder if at times if she accidently caused colleteral damage.

I'm going to have to say yes, cause when she went after Vasir she didn't seem all that upset when that civilain woman was grabbed nor did she concern herself over Vasir's death. She only wanted the information....Lizardviking wrote...

Not much of it.
Considering that those things are all technical illegal, Liara would have to make sure that if the mission failed. She would not face court.

I'm thinking she became a vicious demon, going as far as ingesting the fresh corpses of her victims...
I'd say very litle once she got setup... when you develop a network, it's typically so that others can do those things while you keep your eyes on the big picture/ coordinate the effort. Though, I bet she did whatever was necessary to close in on the SB as quickly as possible.

I think she would of worked through at least 1 agent, bascially emulating the SB before she even got the official title, though I doubt she hesitated to get her hands a little dirty if there was something big at stake.
Being a powerful information broker she must of been able to have certain ways/knew the right people to put pressure on to cover her tracks if neccessary.

How ever I did get Jennifer Hale to sign my Knights of the Old Republic game. Then she grabbed my Mass Effect and gave me this pose.

I hope to have more pics tomorrow. I'm not liking the camera on the phone.
And Meer hadn't shown up yet. I'm glad there is another autograph session tomorrow. I'll get his tomorrow and Hale to sign ME2 for me.
I need something with femShep damnit!

Crazy thought, but bear with me. What if Liara sold War Hero Shepard's Star of Terra to pay for breast implants after he/she died?
It would explain everything.
I replayed the "almost" kissing scene today in ME1 with Femme Shepard and this post reminded me of something. When Femme Shepard is pouting on the ground, for the first time in the entire game her breast (for you PCM) are bigger than Liara's. And Liara's are for the first time, relatively small. What gives?

Well she did not shot the hostage and I would hardly call Vasir "colleteral damage".
I personally believe that while she would likely have disregarded the law on more than one occassion she held true to her moral compass whenever possible*, she was an information broker afterall not the leader of an guild of assassins or something smilar.
*so not when dealing with people we would normally want to kill, particularly SB agents.

So, I went back to my almost-forgotten dudeShep, made him break up with his current LI (whyyyy does he have to sound like such a douche when doing so?), played LotSB with him and put him back with Liara. And I'm actually looking forward to see what happens with his romance with Liara in ME3. There was a lot of thought put into their conversation in the DLC and the way they reconciled was a lot better than some of the other ME and ME2 romance paths.
I probably won't post regularly in this thread, but I just wanted to share my thoughts. I feel that LotSB indicates that the Bioware writers are trying to make the romances a bit more thoughtful than before. Now I'm hoping for similarly interesting romance paths for my femShep and Kaidan.

I wonder if we get to ask Liara about that in ME3 and if so, if her opinion on her behavior during her quest to hunt the Shadow broker has changed at all. During Lotsb she kind of said she wasn't sorry for what she had done, including getting Sekat killed, but that Liara was still ruled by her anger at the Shadow Broker. I wonder what she'll say if you ask her about it in ME3, considering several months passed since that showdown both on Illium and on the Shadow Broker base..

Shepard blamed Vasir for Sekat death. She didn't like the building being blown up when the SB mentioned it when they confronted him.Robhuzz wrote...

About the colleteral damage.
The same could be said about Shepard. How much accidental damage has Shepard caused? Especially when letting Balak go. Or any other decissions Shepard has made.

It would be quite interesting to see if she has gone more paragon-y and now that she can see things more clearly regrets somethings or whether she considers what she has done justified.
Though when all is said and done I still don't think she actually did anything really bad. paragade/renegade or not I can't see her deliberatly killing someone who isn't a direct enemy of hers, so I don't think she really has much to regret about her actions, she might not be proud of it but still.

That isn't really relevant. Not to me, at least, since "accidental" means that the blame cannot be pinned on anyone directly. What matters is whether or not the person indirectly responsible shows remorse. Liara is indirectly responsible for Sekat's death.ladyvader wrote...

If you say that indirectly that Liara is responsible for Sekat's death then so is Shepard. Shepard was the one that gave the intel to Liara to begin with.Pockles wrote...
