Nice pics ladyvader and thanks for sharing :wizard:

Those asari costumes (no matter if it's Liara or Aria or someone else) always look little weird to me, like there's something missing. Maybe it's just that the fringe is so hard to make so that it would look real or the funny fact that normal people have painted themselves blue, I dunno... they just always look little weird.. And don't get me wrong, I appreciate their effort, that they've put time and money into those costumes and it's only a good thing that we have so enthusiastic ME fans but all asari costume pics (never seen one irl) I've seen have looked just little weird. I really don't know how to explain it properly... I have seen some other really cool ME costume pics though...

But yeah anyways, your pics were great ladyvader.

Thanks everyone. I glad you are enjoying them. I did have a good time. Now, since I have nothing planned, I can get back to writing more. Been slacking in that department.

The only thing about the Liara costume is I think it would been better if she had Liara's dress from the cabin scene instead of Liara's cameo on Illium. But that is just me. I didn't tell her that, I asked to take the picture and said thanks. And that Liara is my favorite.

Nice pictures Ladyvader. Did they do a little voiceover fun as well? Maybe both say "I should go" at the end of it?=]

ETA: Though the "Liara" picture is a little creepy

They both said, "I should go" in unsion.  It was a great time.  Meer did a vorcha yesterday.  And our favorite volus, Biotic God.

Best thing about Meer was how he knows the actors that play Conrad and al-Jilani and enjoyed punching her and shooting Conrad in the foot.  I was chuckling when he said it yesterday and today.

Both did the line before punching al-Jilani with the punch sound effect.  I lol'ed at that too.

I'm still bummed that Ali Hillis couldn't make it.  I would have loved to meet her.  Her tweets crack me up and she seems very nice, but she did text Jen Hale last night to tell us fans she was sorry she couldn't make it and would see us next year.  :o

So it's safe to say that you like Meer now? :wizard:

IIRC you were quite indifferent about him before.

I was very indifferent about him.  I think he does good work, I still don't like his Shepard.  He even admitted that no one was more surprised to land that job of doing broShep than him.  I was at his panel yesterday along with the one Hale did and they did one together today.   He repeated that today.

I have five broShep and five femShep, but I have a really hard time doing a proper RP of broShep.   They are just generic games to me.

He did say this as well yesterday and today.  He has done two complete playthroughs.  One Renegade(which he plays first) then a Paragon (to make up for Renegade Shep)  Renegade broShep romanced Ash then went with Jack.  Paragon romanced Liara and because she wasn't a companion in ME2, he romanced Tali.

The crowd today went OOOOOoooooo when he said he cheated on Liara.  He hasn't done the LotSB with his Paragon only his Renegade.(He said that yesterday)

He likes to game and read comic books.  Go figure.  B)

Never had or ever would cheat on anyone, perticularly not Liara. Perhaps he is just not a Liara fan *shrug*
Strange to think that you are more loyal than the one who more or less *is* your character Posted Image, but then again I imagine that many fans here have played the games far more than the voice actors who made them.

Hale said she has a partial game but never finished it.  I think it was ME1, but she never really said.  She's not a gamer and has different hobbies.  Which is cool too.

I think he said yesterday he might go back to his Paragon and do the LotSB DLC.  I really hope he does.

I just wanted to say one more tidbit of info. I did find this interesting. Hale has two sessions this week for ME3, Monday and Tuesday. Meer has his two on Tuesday and Wednesday. She records in LA and he records in Edmonton. They never met until this weekend.

The same could be said about Shepard.  How much accidental damage has Shepard caused?  Especially when letting Balak go.  Or any other decissions Shepard has made.

That isn't really relevant. Not to me, at least, since "accidental" means that the blame cannot be pinned on anyone directly. What matters is whether or not the person indirectly responsible shows remorse. Liara is indirectly responsible for Sekat's death.

If you say that indirectly that Liara is responsible for Sekat's death then so is Shepard.  Shepard was the one that gave the intel to Liara to begin with.

And Shepard blames Vasir.

If Liara hadn't involved Sekat, he wouldn't have been disembowled with a shotgun. She is fully aware of this and actually brings it up without being prompted. I can't tell if she really doesn't care or if she's just trying to justify it to herself. Either way, it's plenty of reason to make a person feel guilty or responsible, and in Liara it isn't immediantly apparent.

Don't get too hung up on who shoulders the blame. It doesn't really pertain to my concern.

Whether Liara feels bad about it isn't the issue as she simply knows what has to be done in order to stop SB; at all cost including her happiness. That is all that mattered to her at the time. Now what she feels those next few nights after her Shepard  leaves her on the SB ship could be an entirely different story.

She used Sekat as an example. So why does it matter that Shepard never brings Sekat up? Shepard raises concern that she gone cold and rather careless in terms of the pursuit. She then defend herself saying that it is necessary in order to rescue Feron.

Granted one is certainly welcome to question the validity of her insane vendetta to begin with.

I didn't say it was anything more than a possibility. Or even a well thought out one.

I never believed Feron was worth the collateral, personally. A concern of mine is that all of this will be swept under the rug.

If a person saved your life and allowed you to accomplish the goal of saving someone you loved, "I believe"  that you might feel a little different about that person. Also knowning, you put them in danger directly.

It wasn't all about Feron even if that was part of it. Her target was always the SB even if the mission parameters changed from revenge to rescue & revenge.

So rescue and revenge was worth all the collateral, then.

I am not saying that it is, but it was quite obvious that she was willing to go a fairly long way to get those things done, how much she regets what happened is not really answered.

I think that she was too court up in finally getting a chance to get at the SB to really let herself feel anything, whether remorse at anything she did, her happiness/love/confusion at shepard's pressence or really anything.

Maybe, but she doesn't give all of the dead people a second thought after she kills the SB. I kind of expected to see a "was it worth it" thing going on.

She dosn't show that she does at least and what is she really expected to do about it? I believe that she would grieve about it or something for herself but right after the fight she had other things on her mind.

While I can see why she would feel remorse at Sekat it was not her fault what happened to all those other people there who died, she did not do anything beyond being present.

And while I can understand a "was it woth it?" question comming up after the fight I am glad they handled it the way they did instead, perhaps a question like that can come up in ME3, though I doubt it.

Sorry but for all you folks out there. I can't honestly believe Sekat was the only collateral damage.. I believe she shoved it down deep until she could process it later.. and yes it would hurt like hell. But now having the Shadow Broker's information at her fingertips, enough to start a war of her own, to provide information to Shepard to stop the Reapers and save the Galaxy! Then He-yeah "it was worth" every single soul taken.! Hoo Raw!

Ok, I'm not trying to get into the discussion, but I'm actually confused.  What are you trying to talk about?  I mean what's the point you're trying to make?

I too am getting confused, what are you trying to say Pockles?

Hi, I was the original starter of the question. but it WAS........... what extremes would Liara go to in order to bring down the SB in those two years..? It wasn't really would she feel bad about it...

So far we had, Assasinations, Theft, Backmail.. anything else? Posted Image

I'm wondering if it one of a few ending or how it ends period.  I hope for more than one ending.

From all the things that have been said about the ending, from devs and voice actors, I'm assuming that Shep will die, no matter what. It's going to be heartbreaking for me, as I'm sure it will be for the rest of you. I've become so attached to my Shep. Watching her die in ME2 was bad enough. Losing her forever is going to be devastating.

I want to have a bonding ceromony and blue children as well, oh and nice picture Posted Image.

Anyway I seriously doubt that they would only make one ending, and one where shepard dies at that.
They have said that it is possible to get the "optimal ending if doing ..." which means that there must be more than one ending, and Shepard dieing does not seem perticularly "optimal" to me Posted Image

Also nice picture..

I WANT A HAPPY ENDING DARN IT!

This doesn't sound right since it has already been said by several people working on ME3 that there is multiple endings. I highly doubt each one of them includes Shepard's death. Yes, there maybe be multiple different death endings but I highly doubt they all are the same or they all end in Shepard's death.

I'm sure someone would have told her too.  She was schedule to do a FF XIII-2 panel with Troy Baker at the same time as the BroShep/FemShep panel.  Which sorta sucked because I wanted to attend that one too.

I can imange her saying something like" No Liara for you."  LMAO!  I hope she comes to this Con next year.   When you text someone to let us, the fans, know how sorry she is for not being there.  Sounds to me, she'll be back.  Then YEA ME.   Actually, I hope Meer and Hale come back too.  ME3 will be a lonely game without Meer writing on it, "I should go"  Which he did on my ME2.

That is awesome.

Loved your other pic of Hale and Meer just sitting on the floor together, they looked so relaxed.
