I wouldn't want Liara or any of the other female LI to get pregnant during the game.  That would be weird.  Sorry, (LI Name), you have to stay on the Normandy because of the little one you're carrying.

Ah, no.  Put that in the epilogue and I'm all good.

^This. I definitely want those blue children but only in the epilogue, not during the game.

I could also say the same about Shepard if she was with Jacob.  :pinched:  No babies in game.

I'm not sure how many here follow Ali Hillis on twitter.  Someone sent her this picture.  Now I can only hope it shows up.  (Yea it worked)

I second this. No children during game, put it in the epilogue if at all. Honestly, since CDProjekt never did it, I can't see BioWare pull anything like this. Especially not with EA watching over their shoulder.

Leia Shepard is fighting for her and Liara's future together.  Those two together have now taken out two spectres along with a yahg.  Nothing is stopping Shepard with Dr. T'Soni at her side.

Welcome everyone.  I don't know how to actually post the way it looks on twitter like I have seen others do here.  So I just copy and paste what is said by Hillis.  She cracks me up at times.  One of the scene from the movie she is working on is a Christmas scene.  She posted a pic on twitter earlier this week of her in a Christmas type outfit and a Santa hat on her head.  She looked great.

She also did some voice acting for The Old Republic, although which character(s) she actually voiced is not known. She doesn't want to say anything about that. I wonder how much play time it'll take to find out. If she uses her 'Liara voice' it shouldn't be hard to figure out but if she doesn't....

I've not heard which character she does, but Hale did mention she plays Bastilla's grandchild.  Which I thought was odd.  I think TOR is set 500 years later.  Or am I wrong on that?  Or maybe I misheard what Hale
said.  I know the character she plays last name is Shan.  Just like Bastilla's.

I haven't read anything about Hale voicing a character in TOR. Haven't paid too much attention to that aspect of the game yet. The character you're talking about is Satele, she's featured a few times in the trailers. TOR takes place about 300 years after KOTOR. Even though it was never officially confirmed, most people acknowledge her as a descendant from Revan and Bastila. It would make sense for Hale to voice her but since my first character will be a Sith Inquisitor, I probably won't see her in game until I create my first republic character.

Sith?  Really?   :pinched:  J/K  I usually play a Jedi first then Sith.  Just like I play a paragon first than a renegade.

I've known for a while(several months) that Hale is in TOR.  I didn't know Hillis also did VO work as well.  I should have asked Jen Hale this question and I regret not asking it.

Which franchise has been more fun to work in?  Mass Effect or Star Wars?  Hale does VO work in the Clone Wars show as well beside three Star Wars games.  Even if Bastilla was only a cameo in KotOR II.

I'd much prefer to haver the epilogue about how the galaxy is recovering and not so much on Shepard since we all have our own endings. Different, if any, love interest ... different allegiances, backstories, hopes for their Shepard's future.

Some on this board want marriage & blue babies while others do not want that in their relationship.

An epilogue on the galaxy as a whole would also fit for future games that would not include Shepard.

But we will see what Casey and his mad(wo)men have in store ... no matter what I will be okay with. Image IPB

That's why I hope that we'll be able to affect that epilogue, to make decisions. Like children - no children, marriage - no marriage etc. because every Shepard's story is different. But it would be also nice if that epilogue would include what happens to milky way after the reapers are dealt with.

There was this one interview with Ali Hillis some time ago where she answered a few questions about her roles as Liara T'Soni and Lightning (Final Fantasy I believe, haven't played it so I could be wrong). In that she said she also did a lot of voice acting for The Old Republic, but she wouldn't say which character(s) she voiced. So yeah she's in, but she's either being a tease about it, or just not allowed to say anything about it. We'll have to wait and see.

As to what she likes better. You'd have to ask her yourself. I can't answer that. Though I do believe she said (in the same interview) that BioWare guys were really nice and she really enjoyed doing voice acting for BioWare games.

And Sith... well yeah I wanted to play a republic class first (Light side suits me better than being evil I guess) but I'm going to play this game together with a friend and he starts with an Empire character. So for the sake of being able to play together, I'm starting out as as Sith Inquisitor. After a good while we'll both create a republic class character. Haven't got a clue as to which one yet but plenty of time to choose.

I thought they did a good job with the epilogue in DA:O.  It seems the end game celebration did affect the epilogue.  Maybe we can get that type of thing in ME3.  Here to hoping.:kissing:

A bit of both would be nice I'd say. Since ME3 is the final chapter for Shepard, I would hate to just have him fly off somewhere (With Liara of course) and that'll be the end of it. I'd like to know at least a few things that'll happen to them later. Seeing the galaxy recover eventually is nice and important to me but I'd really want to see Shep's story end well and in a satisfying manner as well. Oh and a video like epilogue would be best I think, rather than a bunch of words..:P

"As for Liara, she fulfilled her promise to Shepard and stayed with him/her until the end. Still living together today in a big appartment on [Dependant on ingame talk with Liara]. 4 years after the reaper wars ended, the two got married. Despite earlier talk of little blue children, the couple decided to postpone this idea for a time, instead favoring travelling all over the galaxy, watching humanity and the other races rebuild"

Something like that?:wizard:

Lightning is actually on the cover of the game too.   It's not a bad game.  Hillis is the only reason I bought it a few months ago for less than $20.  I don't think it's on PC though.

The imdb.com doesn't have Hilis' role listed for TOR.  But Hale also does a female Republic trooper voice.  Now that could be a generic trooper.  I'm not sure though.  Maybe Hillis is just did a random generic character voice.  Who knows.

Since you're going to be playing the game.  Keep an ear out for the VO that voices Grunt.  He is also in TOR.  Plays a bounty hunter and King Bouris Ulgo.

More blue is always good.

The countdown isn't so bad. About 2 weeks left until Skyrim. Then only 6 weeks left until early access for SWTOR. I'll be playing Skyrim until TOR comes out and I'll be playing TOR until ME3 comes out. No more boring waiting!

And since every character in TOR is voiced (also the playable characters) if Hale does 'a female Republic trooper's' voice then I guess you'll sort of be playing Femshep again if you play as a female trooper fighting for the republic. Good news for some who like star wars and love Hale's voice acting.

That's what I meant, that the epilogue should include stuff about both Shepard and LI  and about the galaxy. And yes video epilogue would be really great :wizard: I wish that BW will make the epilogue long enough, so that it won't be just "and they all lived happily ever after. THE END!" ofc it doesn't have to take an hour or anything but that it would take some time. I wouldn't mind if the epilogue contains dialogue options even, or some "playable" stuff, but I guess that's too much to ask  I just really want that epilogue to be a real separate act in that story and that we'll really get to see and affect what happens to Shepard and the galaxy after that all reaper stuff is over.

I'm not getting TOR.  I don't play MMO because I don't want to pay a monthly fee to play a game.

Skyrim is two weeks away.  Since I'll be getting it at midnight, it's 13 days, seven hours, 33 minutes away.  :P  I'm not excited for Skyrim to be honest.  Husband is, I'm not.  Not after playing and not liking New Vegas.  That killed any buzz I had for Skyrim.   I'm sure some can say the same about DA2 killing any hype they had for ME3.

She voices the playable female Trooper.
I thought about picking the Trooper, a healer with big guns would be awesome. But my guildis want to play as Siths.
So, I'm joining the DS.
Female Hawke is the female Imperial Agent, that's my class. I'm so excited because I really like her voice.

But I don't think Ali Hillis is a playable character, people would have noticed her voice by now. I think.
Maybe she is a Squadi :D

Some games have a playable epilogue. The Witcher 2 had one just after the final fight in Act 3. A lot of information is shared, a few secrets revealed and some hints given about the future of the world, then Geralt tells Triss he doesn't care about the fate of the northern kingdoms any more, he opens the big gate and the two of them walk out into the countryside and the game is over, it's not a traditional epilogue but it served it's purpose very well, even included a choice, one that might be major for the next game. CDProjekt could do it, that means BioWare can do it. Okay this is not really mass effect related, let alone Liara related, just remembering some good times. At least I'm sticking to the epilogue subject right?=]

ME will, of course, need an epilogue and a good one

If so she's got to be a female Twi'lek!:D Maybe the Sith Warrior is in luck. If I remember it right, their first companion is a twi'lek female.

I thought the same thing. Blue alien, romanceable, she should really voice Vette. But it's actually Mission Vao's VA. Which is absolutly fitting in my opinion.
But there are a lot of Companions left. 6 per character is a lot.

@Robhuzz: Hi5 for Witcher fans. :) I'm one of the people who think that W2 is probably the most epic RPG out there.

I wish Bioware had balls like CDP does. I was deciding for 20 minutes weather to save Triss or to see Roche and decide the fate of Temeria ... Do you imagine if we were suddenly faced with a choice between Liara and saving Earth, or Citadel?

Bye bye Earth, CItadel.  Just kidding.  That would be heard, but I doubt BW is going to do that.
