I just decided to watch the Genesis comic on Youtube, and why does Liara look like a horse in pretty much every single shot of herself?
Because you've got ponies on the brain!

And yes, don't take this post too seriously
I'm pretty sure I'll soon regret asking this but... Pony screwing Liara?

What, you'd try to resist that?ME3 is going to be difficult to play. With Liara on the ship it's going to take every ounce of willpower I have to actually do missions and not run straight to Liara's room after every mission to see if she has something new to say
I thought I was the only one who did that... and when I got to ME2, I ran to Miranda just to talk.. and she had nothing.. I was like.. "Gawd, you are NOTHING like my Liara!"
I also went round visiting every single crew member after doing a mission just to see if they had anything more to say in both ME's.
Wasn't until my 4/5th playthrough that I eventually stopped doing the rounds after learning when someone had nothing else to say to me
Did suck not having Liara onboard though
Some blue
So true I did that as practically every time, sometimes I would also go talk to Liara even when she had nothing to say and pick those small-talk lines simply to hear her voice and be with her
Despite green being one of my favourtie colours and I think that the Predator L armour looks really good on Liara in ME1 I don't really like that particular green and white outfit on her. but that is one picture is relly good

I think we had a talk about this ealier in the thread, more or less pricisly really, which also ended up as a philosiphical talk. I guess that is the nature of these "who and/or how many may/must die becouse of..." topics
Was it that time when I ended up talking about utilitarianism and other ethics/moral philosophy with some one?
But yeah, if we start talking about that kind of stuff, it's an endless road, seriously.
Stop it, my head already hurts.Korkki wrote...
Philosophical discussions are interesting, as long as you are talking about different point of views (like what would Immanuel Kant think about this or some one else) and you're not even trying to find the ultimate truth, because there is none. If we slip into this what is or what is not an ethical thing to do there is no end for that discussion. Ofc there are things that are commonly considered right or wrong in our western society but still...

YES! I was just going to say this. It would be beyond awesome if Liara could move into Shepard's quarters. It's more than big enough. There's even a second desk that she could use. I assume her default location on the ship will be in the lab, but knowing that her "home" is with Shep would mean a lot to me.ladyvader wrote...
I do hope they do something special for those of us that remained faithful to Liara. Dang it, we deserve it. I would love for Liara to be in the Captain's Quarters of the Normandy. So when Shepard enters the elevator to pick where to go, level 1 doesn't say none.
And on the subject of Bioware doing something special for those of us who stayed loyal through all three games...
..."Remain faithful to the same romantic partner throughout the trilogy."
Is that faked or a ligitimate achievement?
I must admit I haven't followed on whether there was any leakings or news concerning the achievement despite the ME games (along with the DA ones) are the only games whether I hunt for achievements.
Yes, I do believe that achievement is made up. I've not seen anything mentioned about achievements. They might not even that thought all the way through yet. Who knows. It's a perfect achievement though.

Mass Effect: Liara T'Soni by =ilikapie on deviantART

The sound of little feet might make you fight harder.
The sound of little feet would mean that something went wrong ... horribly wrong.
I'd much prefer to haver the epilogue about how the galaxy is recovering and not so much on Shepard since we all have our own endings. Different, if any, love interest ... different allegiances, backstories, hopes for their Shepard's future.
Some on this board want marriage & blue babies while others do not want that in their relationship.
An epilogue on the galaxy as a whole would also fit for future games that would not include Shepard.
But we will see what Casey and his mad(wo)men have in store ... no matter what I will be okay with.

That is why I have more than one file for my canon femShep. I know my first run of ME2 I made mistakes. Sorry, Tali, you got a rocket in the face. Mordin died on the line. All where loyal. I made a bad choice when I picked Samara to lead the 2nd fire team instead of Garrus.Robhuzz wrote...
Creating drama without upsetting the fans is hard. Most people do not want scripted squadmember deaths, and I agree with them, it's lame. Many people also do not want a virmire like choice, where a squadmember WILL get killed, but Shepard can influence which one. Killing off random npc's doesn't really add drama because with a war like this, there will be casualties and lots of them. Survival matters here.
How do you create drama then? I guess the only way to create drama is to somehow kill a squadmember or popular npc (Andersson, Joker among others). Even that will be met with fierce resistance.
The only way I can think of is: Make sure you can fail missions. Either by not finishing it in a certain timespan (not recommended, I hate rushing through levels) or by having multiple ways to do a mission but a few will end in disaster. Failing certain missions will lead to the squad having to bail out with a few people potentially getting killed. This will make the game more exiting, because failing a mission might lead to someone's death, and still means you can keep most of your squad alive and go for a 'happy' ending (though on your first playthrough you might have to save and reload a lot).I did invite Kelly up to Shepard's quarters on the play through as well. I hope that does NOT cause conflict with Liara. I was going by Liara's picture on the desk and it's still upright like it should be. I hope the writers are messing with us with their comments about Kelly and inviting her up to the Loft. I don't consider Kelly a romance at all.
And I have a bad bad feeling, I'm going to be rewriting my fanfics once ME3 is out. I think some people won't be there at the end. (ie, Anderson, Hannah Shepard)

I want everyone possible to survive with my canon femShep play through. Well, fish might die.
Mara wants to save everyone, but if it comes down to Ashley or her fish... well, the fish were with her against the collectors and Ashley wasn't. Loyalty pays off.
BSN MANDATED DISCLAIMER: I love Ashley and that was in no way, shape or form an insult against her. It was a joke, nothing more.

You haven't got an attachment to these 15 billion people so Bioware know full well most people would save their LIs.
I'd save the LI.
See, my emotion gets in the way of me making the logical decision, and you shouldn't be surprised that I and a few other people would do this.
Same here.
While logic and emotion each play into the dicision morals, in my mind, does not.
Saving the one you love is an emotional decision; saving the many that you do not love is a logical decision.
Both are moral they just defirenciate between being selfish and selfless.
Which ever you choose would depend on wichever of emotion or logic has a greater hold over you, not whether you are a good or evil person.
An amoral dicision (speaking very much in black and white here) would be to not save anyone and let them all die.
Plus that this is still just a videogame we're talking about here. I'd save Liara over any number of people just because I want to see how Shepard and Liara's story will conclude, and still I don't consider myself a massmurderer. If I were in that kind of situation irl, I hope that I'd be able to make the right decision and save those 15 billion people instead of my love one, because that would be the right and logical decision. But luckily in a videogame, I don't have to be sorry for those 15 billion virtual deaths, my Shepard can be sorry for those deaths but not me.
