Ooooh, her! Ha, how could I be so dense!Honestly, I never cared much about the identity of Liara's father, but I really liked Aethyta, she is so different from the other Asari in game. I wonder if she has a role of sorts to play in ME3.
She's also the only Asari we've seen so far that favors changing Asari ways to take action (Improving military power and getting their daughters working earlier) to the traditional Asari standards (merc band or stripping in a bar for a few 100 years - which no Asari mother seems to see as a problem). A trait that can also be seen in Liara by her desire to start studying Protheans at an early age while normal Asari of her age would join a merc band for money.
I wonder how this trait was passed onto Liara. Perhaps Benezia had similar ideas to Aethyta but was more diplomatic about it (Aethyta doesn't seem to be too diplomatic) and raised Liara accordingly?
