But I must keep reminding myself that she is asari and not a human.

Ugh no. I like Ashley and actually picked her the first time around. But she's terrible in that confrontation. "Following her lead" in anything even resembling that capacity actually makes me cringe. Of course the whole scene could've been handled better (at least with a different Liara response if she wins by default). And there's nothing wrong with threesomes!

If nothing else, I want to emphasise the difference between understanding and pushover. Liara is the former, not the latter.

I don't think that asaris would have an issue with threesomes but that line "I'm glad you picked me" after Shepard says both. No Liara, Shepard didn't pick you ... *facepalm*

And I thought Ashley's response fit her perfectly and should have at least set off a bell to Liara. After all, she is trying to understand the rules and ways of humans so when she sees a female human's response to that line you would think that it would make her pause, at least for a second. But nope. So I personally avoid that option because it not only does not fit any of my Shepards but it makes Liara look stupid to me with her response and she is not stupid.

*shakes fist at Ashley* "Damn you for walking away and not letting me have my cake and eating it too! You are so selfish!"

There is also a fine line between understanding and being a pushover ... Liara teeters on that line to me. So I avoid the choices that make me feel that way and pick the more "push back" lines. It's all personal perception.

An updated version of her CE outfit has been spotted. The headband thingy has been seemingly replaced with tattoos/warpainting.

Also. You been playing Skyrim too?

Yeah not a fan of the red though. Maybe it'll grow on me ingame but so far would rather see something different. And the headband thing doesn't suit her.
PMC65: Agreeing with you, scene could've been done better, with different replies for "win by default". Never go that route myself. Disagree about how close she is to the pushover brink but to each his own.

Looking close at it. It really does look like Samara's headband. But like you said, it could be like the Asari's equalivant of war-paint or something.

I don't know. None of the asari seen in battle were wearing one. I'm thinking of the commandos fighting for Benezia or the ones aboard the Destiny's Ascension.

Regardless of who gets to wear it, I just don't think it looks good on Liara. Doesn't suit her face.

You need the CE. Or I guess they might make you pay for them seperately.

I actually really like this. Reminds me of the Colossus armor.

Although I am hoping for a version of Liara's armor with the Shadow Broker insignia on it.
