Oh, at least she's decently dressed for my birthday partyI wouldn't mind if she wore something like that as a casual outfit in ME3 j/k, okay it's nice but doesn't fit for war really

It's my birthday today, so I thought I could celebrate that a bit by posting a couple of Liara pics here
It has also been little quiet here lately and there can never be too much blue in this thread so here you go:
I've also been thinking about giving myself a birthday present of my own and pre-ordering ME3 CE aswell as new gaming headset so that I'd be fully ready for Co-op when March finally comes ...but that's still work in progress... lazy me

Really? Congratulations are in order then!
I had my own birthday one week ago to be precise, I turned 18.
And preordering the CE sounds like pretty good idea. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png[/smilie]

Thank you! And happy birthday to you too, even if it is a bit late for thatI actually turned 18 myself too. It's just that sunday is a bad day for your 18th birthday
I've been thinking about pre-ordering the CE for some time now, I've just haven't done it yet for some reason, but I'll do that in near future. Sometimes the easiest things are the hardest I guess, like pressing "order" button in a webshop
And also, a new headset would be useful, because I don't have a mic atm. I'm looking forward to some Liara thread co-op action in March and that's why I'm definitely going to need a mic, and ofc having a proper gaming headset never hurts, no matter what game you're playing, so I'm not buying that thing only because of ME3. My current headphones are pretty good, but play for couple or hours and you're ears are boiling and hurting, so they're not very comfortable and definitely not meant for long gaming sessions...

I agree about sunday being bad. Which is why I celebreated my birthday on the 11th November instead.
I am just waiting for my credit card to arrive before preordering the CE. Because frankly, my first purchase on it should be something worthwhile.
For the headset. May I recomend the razer megalodon? I own it myself and while it is pretty expensive. I find it to be the best headset I used yet.
Absolutely, that we will do!As for multiplayer. There is the beta in January. Perhaps we should form a group for it?

Well next weekend it will be checking out some Helsinki nightlife with my friends. They have some plans for me, I don't know what to expect really, talking about those "plans", they even have a "present" for me and If I know my friends at all it can be something real bad, yeah, we have a wicked sense of humor, I know
Any plans to join the army soon? You most likely had the draft not so long time ago. It's better to get it out of your way as soon as possible (and in navy if possible). That's what I did (well, almost - 6 months after graduating from upper secondary school).Korkki wrote...

Well I know it will involve plenty of alcohol, but that other part is not they're style really. I'd rather see them humiliating me some way in public or something, or not really humiliating but so that the situation, or the present itself, would be something embarrassing, but also something we can all laugh at afterwards. Or then it's just something really weird and bizarreRobhuzz wrote...

I imagine it'll involve plenty of strong alcoholic drinks. The next morning you'll wake up in a place you don't recognize - with your friends nowhere to be found - having no memory whatsoever of what happened the night before...

Regarding
headphones I would recommend that you get proper circumaural headphones
and since I'm open back headphone freak (because of the sound stage and
positioning). Circumaural headphones cover your ears completely so they
will not hurt your ears. I love my Sennheiser HD 595, it's extremely
comfortable and easy to drive so that they don't need headphone amp
(even though my card has it). They're very neutral sounding too which I
like alot. HD 595 coupled with Auzentech X-Fi Forte equals aural bliss
(great for the money; I'm a small audiophile). For mic it's better to
get just clip on mic.
Also, even if you can legally drink its'
way better to stay sober. Even though I'm 22 I've never been drunk and I
like to keep it that way.

Well, Navy can be such a broad term. Isosaari (aka Ibiza or Chocolate Island/suklaasaari) for example. I have personal experience of that place.Korkki wrote...

I can tell you guys next sunday, when I finally know what it was, assuming I'm in a condition to type ofc

Well I just sent this letter of application (or what ever) to Finnish Rapid Deployment Force (or actually it should be called Finnish International Readines Force nowadays I guess..) But if I won't be chosen, then Vekaranjärvi it is, that's where the big shots put me in the draft, and hopefully Kymi Jaeger Batallion. No going to the Navy with my eye sight. So I'll start my conscript service in next July anyway, no matter if I got chosen to FRDF or not.Regarding

Well I don't want to put hundreds of euros into my headphones or headset. I'm currently using Koss ur18, which cost something like 22 euros, and even these have good enough sound quality for me. So I'd just like to have something with better comfortability and a mic and air ventilation, so that my ears wouldn't cook. Also, even if you can legally drink its'

Well it won't be a first time for me really. I rarely use alcohol and I know my limits, so I know when I've had enough. And booze is horrible stuff, so I'd just rather stick to beer and long drinks, so I'm not a friend of Koskenkorva or anythingCouple shots won't hurt anyone, but I mean it when I say only a couple.
Edit: I noticed that I have a funny way of starting all of my replies with a word "well"
Edit2: But now I'm off to bed, night night Liara thread
But then how would you know whether being drunk is any good or not?Tup3xi wrote...

^this, I am 21 and have never even touched alchohol (we may drink from 16 and up), purely on principle, something my friends can't seem to decide whether to to redicule or be amazed atTup3xi wrote...

Using alcohol doesn't make you any cooler ( I'm kind of referring here to Finnish culture, where you're like a king when you can drink 2 litres or vodka, 24 beers and you're still "sober") and not drinking alcohol doesn't make anyone stupid, lame or anything.
