I've been thinking about pre-ordering the CE for some time now, I've just haven't done it yet for some reason, but I'll do that in near future. Sometimes the easiest things are the hardest I guess, like pressing "order" button in a webshop And also, a new headset would be useful, because I don't have a mic atm. I'm looking forward to some Liara thread co-op action in March and that's why I'm definitely going to need a mic, and ofc having a proper gaming headset never hurts, no matter what game you're playing, so I'm not buying that thing only because of ME3. My current headphones are pretty good, but play for couple or hours and you're ears are boiling and hurting, so they're not very comfortable and definitely not meant for long gaming sessions...

I've been thinking about getting Steelseries Siberia V2, According to reviews it should be pretty decent headset in it's price range, and it should also pack enough bass so that you can also use it when listening to music. I could get it for about 60 euros. I believe that megalodon would be a real kick@ss headset, but it costs a small fortune, something like 120 euros, IIRC.

As for multiplayer. There is the beta in January. Perhaps we should form a group for it?

Any plans to join the army soon? You most likely had the draft not so long time ago. It's better to get it out of your way as soon as possible (and in navy if possible). That's what I did (well, almost - 6 months after graduating from upper secondary school).

Regarding headphones I would recommend that you get proper circumaural headphones and since I'm open back headphone freak (because of the sound stage and positioning). Circumaural headphones cover your ears completely so they will not hurt your ears. I love my Sennheiser HD 595, it's extremely comfortable and easy to drive so that they don't need headphone amp (even though my card has it). They're very neutral sounding too which I like alot. HD 595 coupled with Auzentech X-Fi Forte equals aural bliss (great for the money; I'm a small audiophile). For mic it's better to get just clip on mic.

Also, even if you can legally drink its' way better to stay sober. Even though I'm 22 I've never been drunk and I like to keep it that way.

I truly hope that Liara is permanent squad mate together with VS and (hopefully) Garrus. I'd like to have my dream team in ME3 once again since that wasn't really possible in ME2.

Well I know it will involve plenty of alcohol, but that other part is not they're style really. I'd rather see them humiliating me some way in public or something, or not really humiliating but so that the situation, or the present itself, would be something embarrassing, but also something we can all laugh at afterwards. Or then it's just something really weird and bizarre or maybe we'll just be on a mission finding the best bar in the city, dunno... can be anything really. I can tell you guys next sunday, when I finally know what it was, assuming I'm in a condition to type ofc

But if I won't be chosen, then Vekaranjärvi it is, that's where the big shots put me in the draft, and hopefully Kymi Jaeger Batallion. No going to the Navy with my eye sight. like to keep it that way.

Well it won't be a first time for me really. I rarely use alcohol and I know my limits, so I know when I've had enough. And booze is horrible stuff, so I'd just rather stick to beer and long drinks, so I'm not a friend of Koskenkorva or anything Couple shots won't hurt anyone, but I mean it when I say only a couple.

Well, Navy can be such a broad term. Isosaari (aka Ibiza or Chocolate Island/suklaasaari) for example. I have personal experience of that place.

^this, I am 21 and have never even touched alchohol (we may drink from 16 and up), purely on principle, something my friends can't seem to decide whether to to redicule or be amazed at

I dunno, I think unless it's for religious reasons or something to that degree there's no harm in trying it at least once. I haven't been drunk for a while either, but I've only had good experiences. It is nearly just as fun just watching drunk/high people while sober though, until one of the higher persons start playing with knives. (not that alcohol itself could make you do something like that) You don't have to have a hangover to get drunk either, I've never had one.

Still debating if I should start a fresh new playthrough. But apart of me feels like I should just carry over an old character, for the sake of feeling like time has gone by.

However, if that's the case, which one? I have a pure paragon who went from Liara, to Tali, and then Liara again after breaking up with Tali. And then there's the Paragade I made, who was faithful. The Paragade is the closets to being like me, and my preferred playthrough of choices. However, the one with Liara and Tali had the most honest relationship experience. So I'm not sure.

I know that the Navy contains a lot of things, of course there are coastal jaegers and you can serve even on a ship with a poor eye sight but only under the deck, as a mechanic or something , I think. But still I just prefer normal infantry since I'm not exactly eager to sail (or fly, and yes I know only place you can fly as a conscript is by applying for air force reserve officer school...) but anyway...



And still for this alcohol thing for all of you, not replieing to anyone particularly...  Using alcohol doesn't make you any cooler ( I'm kind of referring here to Finnish culture, where you're like a king when you can drink 2 litres or vodka, 24 beers and you're still "sober") and not drinking alcohol doesn't make anyone stupid, lame or anything. It's totally up to you if you want to use it or not. I think it's okay as long as you're aware of what you're doing and you can take care of yourself, but I see no point when you're like "last evening was fun as hell, but I just can't remember anything about it" and it isn't exactly funny if you're so drunk you're friends have to take care of you and you're vomiting all over the place. So I personally prefer this golden mean, like Aristotle would say.

It'd certainly make you poorer, drinking that much.

...That would give them a blood alcohol content in excess of 2% I imagine anyone who "drank" that much probably poured more than 85% of it down the toilet. And if they actually drank it and didn't die one the spot... then you've probably been infiltrated by geth.
