i would arrange for entrance into a museum of Liara's choosing after hours, ideally about Asari culture or at least something she knows a lot about and have her give me a private tour and I will be hanging on her every word beaming with admiration and pride like a good little schoolgirl, hmm, I might even dress the part .
Among particular beautiful exhibitions, I have prepared a picnic for a little snack and afterwards we will continue the tour with an in-depth look at the Asari body and a comparison with the human body...all night long...

"I'm not sure, people like us have dates, but I am looking forward to it!"

Okay, I'm back in the loop again; I would have prefered an avatar of Liara from LotSB since I am not a fan Liara in ME2 pre-LotSB in either behaviour or look, but couldn't figure out how to create custom avatars

You can create custom avatars by using DAO character creator or if you have the full game on PC that should do the trick too (might be even easier that way, dunno since I have only this character creator...)  here are the instructions I followed and as you can see, it worked It took a few hours before it was uploaded into BSN, maybe even over night, can't remember anymore, so after you've completed all the steps, new avatar should be in your dragon age album after some time, just wait patiently

I'm guessing you hated how she looked in ME1 and the ME3 E3 Demo as well?

Nope, I adore her looks in ME1, absolutely love it in LotSB, and I am interested in but withholding judgement of her ME3 appereance untill I see the final version .

I just  don't find the office scene particularly flattering for her appereance, since its her ME1 look without updated grafics and the lighting is terrible, and as a very minor detail I don't really like her office dress.
And coupled with that her behaviour, at least untill you figure out why she is that way, somewhat alienate me from the Liara I had grownn to love and that subconsciously relfect in how I percive her physically. 
The more I like a female character (or person IRL) the more attractive I tend to find them, I believe it is a common reaction for boys and men and assume the opposite aslo holds true for girls and women.

If you're having issues I would say use the demo character creator as opposed to the full game. It may yammer on about system specs but it's not really rendering anything that'll melt your motherboard. It took mere minutes for mine to work so I think the "waiting hours" thing is just worst case.

Yeah, well maybe it's just about how much traffic there is in the BSN servers atm or something... At least it took a couple hours in my case, so even if it takes some time there's no need to worry, it doesn't necessarily mean you've done anything wrong...

Going back to the "do asari even have a concept of a permenant partner" real quick, I'd just like to add that Liara herself refers to asari having "spouses" in Lair Of The Shadow Broker.

She does? I can't even remember, when do she do that?

So it all depends on how serious the Asari and her partner are when it comes to relationships. Liara for instance is very serious and those who romanced her (which would be most people on this thread) also noticed she didn't enter the romance lightly. After a partner dies the Asari will live for several centuries so eventually most of them will enter another relationship...

True, I had forgotten about that, shame on me . Well that just shows that asari are like humans and likely every other race, it depends on the individual.

Liara is the shadow broker, so I'm sure she could easily get the means to bring back shepard, multiple times. I think she might become one of those 'mad' scientest types lol.

I hardly ever see Liara/Manshep I wonder why *shrug*
