Also you learn about the Asari head fringes.

This is relevant to my interests. I know it's kind of creepy, but I find those really attractive along with the wrinkly back of their necks.
After the romance scene in Mass Effect 1 and you talk before Joker announces the arrival at Ilos and you see Liara's head from behind, I was really freaked out there for a moment about how much that shot turned me on.

Well, how long is an Asari pregnancy period?

I'd love to have those blue children (and the bondmate ceremony too) but only in the epilogue, not during the game. I just don't really like the idea of Liara running around pregnant while we're fighting the reapers. But I really would like to see that/those (one or two would be nice..) little baby asari in the epilogue :wizard:

But if Shepard dies, then no children. Not because I would think Liara couldn't take care of the children by herself, but because I want them to have those children only after the reapers are dealt with, not while the war is still going on, so I don't want any "Liara is unavailable as a squad mate for the rest of the game because she's pregnant".

Wait, are there actually people who would want to have Liara pregnant during the game?

I don't know about that, I just said what I would and wouldn't like to see in ME3. I can't see how Liara being pregnant during the actual game would fit at all, but, well if someone wants that, it's his/her story so I have no say in it. They have their own stories and I have mine.

Maybe in the epilogue, not in the main game. I'm kind of indifferent about little blue children at this time. I wouldn't mind if the whole subject wasn't talked about again in ME3. I'd rather the epilogue states they had a few kids a few decades after the war ends.

Wait, are there actually people who would want to have Liara pregnant during the game?

Like M'aiq said so nicely in TES IV: Oblivion: "Sick... sick people"

My wish list is:

A) Learning more about Liara's life after Shepard's death and being an information broker.

B) Learning more about Liara's life growing up as a pure blood on the asari home world.

C) Learning more about her mother.

D) That Liara has a relationship with someone (like Feron) if Shepard doesn't romance her in ME3.

E) That you can propose to her.

F) That she either stays as the Shadow Broker, or takes a new direction in her life that we haven't seen before.

So, after my earlier confession, I felt the need to go through my old screenshots again and I made myself a nice wallpaper. I thought, I'd share!

I have uploaded it to deviantArt: Here you go.

After peeking at the initial spoilers I've stayed away fom all other spoilers since I really want to be surprised.

Looking in on a couple threads people just can't seem to not share them ... like kids who know what you are getting for Christmas. Posted Image

So ... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year gang! I'll see you after I play a couple games of ME3!

Can't really see this happening unless we get a DAO epilogue but then we in all likelyhood won't get more than five-ten lines.
And in all honesty I would rather have a "and they spend the rest of shepard's life happily toghether. The End" than hearing about how she is and feels after shepard dies a la a LotR Aragon & Arwen thing.
Though a "she then raised their children who..." like thing wouldn't bother me.

C) Learning more about her mother.

I take it you are referring to her "father" here or do you want to know more about Benezia, for the later I don't really think we will get much, a line or two of dialog at most. For the former I think we can count on getting some clousure there.

TMA LIVE wrote...

I don't really care for that, like mentioned much earlier I still think shepard is the only one right for her. of course she should get a partner later in life if she is not with Shepard but this early in her maiden stage I think she only became interested in a relationship because she met Sherpard and not just because she needed someone.

Well I think that is a safe bet as there isn't really anything else she can do is there? unless she becomes an archeologist again but I don't really see that happening now; whether or not I would like it I think she has moven on to another part of her life now, besides as point out several time in the thread what is there really left for her to discover?

@Pariah

No I mean her mother, Benezia. There isn't really much revealed about her beyond "She raised me herself. I'm not like her. She didn't approve my career choice. I miss her." etc. There's a lot that isn't said.

Same for her being an information broker. We don't know how she got started. We don't know all the details on how she ran it. All we know is that she thinks it's crazy, the dead bodies still smell, and she's more then capable of handling the violence. All I ask is a discussion on it. If not from Shepard, then maybe in a banter with another party member.

Well Shep is like part-machine so he probably ages slower, plus human lifespans have increased in the ME-verse (to 150) so 20 years from ME3, even though Shep will be like mid-50s he'll probably only look like someone IRL in their 30s. Then of course since asari live for 1000+ years Liara probably won't change at all.

Somewhere in the ME books, it is stated that people at 70 can look and feel like 30 - it's not even uncommon for woman to deliver a child at that age, so ... :)

The age isn't really the important part of that scenario. :pinched:

I don't think I could manage it.

Will you still be writing fan fiction?

Bye, bye.

I was referring to when you said "Old!Shep", just stating that 20 years probably wouldn't change him/her that much aesthetically.
