I don't think that Liara (in my game) would punch the Westerlund News reporter (Khalisah Bint Sinan al-Jilani), since she has never displayed that kind of behavior before.

I could see her tearing her apart verbally but not a punch in the face. Besides, that moment where Liara read the Shadow Broker my Shepard wanted to take her little "wicked tongue" girlfriend and .... ugh, well  

What would provoke that kind (violence on an unarmed person) of response from Liara? 

I would like to see her unleash her biotic abilities during a battle though.

I'd support this, but only if it's followed by Liara meeting the predictable fate of someone who attacks a special forces marine.

I can see her punching too, but not just because a reporter says something lame. She would either dress her down or walk away.

I am trying to think what the reporter would say that might make Liara resort to hitting her and so far I am at a loss.

EDIT: Maybe something about her mother?

I'm kind of surprised no one on Shepard's crew ever tries to attack or stand up against Shepard for anything. Well, Wrex did... and he's dead. I'm not sure if Grunt could kill Shepard if you didn't hit the renegade trigger. And that was more of a awakening thing. Morinth could kill Shepard, but that's only because Shepard wanted to get laid.

When my femshep killed him. She didn't want to take any chances after he pulled his shotgun. She made sure he got a burial.

Renegade Garrus I think, since Shepard tells him to never get personal after Sidonis is killed. Jack I think could do it. Samara claims she'll probably try to kill him. Kaidan might pull rank. That's all I can think of right now.

I don't think Liara would hit Shepard, mainly because the guy is apparently needed to run a ship, a crew, and squadmates, and would want to keep things professional till the mission is over.

But I do imagine some horrible, private stuff leaking over the net about Shepard when things are over. And Shepard might find himself under investigation for crimes he never committed.

That is a good question.  That is the only import to ME3, Wrex won't be in.  The default ME2 Shep.
