BW should have made a Blue Collector's Edition. You know, blue metal box with Liara on it, Liara only art book, digital "soundtrack" containing Ali Hillis' voice acting lines, Liara lithograph, Redemption comic, extra outfits and other ingame stuff for Liara etc.

Yeeeah, because the 'waaah liara favouritism' crowd would just love that.

Nah, why would anyone call that favouritism, I mean that would be just one DLC and one Special edition of the game, not a big deal
And in the other hand, we Liara fans would get our lovely blue Liara CE and Liara haters would get another "reason" to hate her (not that it would be character's fault if she got her own CE) we'd get what we want and they'd get what they want. So that would be a win-win situation, don't you thinkj/k

I'm guessing you didn't see E3? Or the beta leak? E3 she looks like Liara from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. The beta look was different from either games.evilpotato wrote...
quick question, is there any official word yet on what Liara's face will look like for ME 3, are they going to reuse her Lair of the Shadow face or are they going to give her another redesign?

I know you were mostly joking and it's all in good fun, so know that I am pointing this out in good humour, but when you think about it, what you are asking for could have colossally bad results if it were a reality. Not because of Liara favoritism... because, why would they stop there? Have a special edition CE for each squadmate, with missions, outfits, weapons, and upgrades you can't get otherwise. Want to cure Thane's Kepral Syndrome? Well, only fans who purchase the Limited Thane Edition can do that. Whereas the only way to romance Tali is with her edition, so if you want do both, well, a true fan would just buy two copies... or three, if you want Garrus to live
Until, of course, the GOTY edition comes out for 20 bucks with all DLC included.

This is more a question for the artsy people, who have coloured Liara before. What is the best colour-mix for her skin-tone?

Hey guys, just popping in to ask something that's been bugging me. It might of been talked to death already, but bear with me since I don't really follow this thread. Since she now has the role of the Shadow Broker, don't you find it strange that she's a permanent squad-member? Now, I'm not saying I don't want her to be in the game, I just don't view it being convenient for her new role, unless she sets up a CIC (or whatever that thing was called, lol) that links to the Shadow Broker's ship. Also, there is that funny drone, but it can only do so much correct? There's a lot of variables to consider as well, like if she's romantically involved with Shepard, that could cause some emotional strain towards portraying her role as the Shadow Broker or make her distracted (at least in my perspective), also if she's willing to continue down that road at all. I understand that she's very smart though, so she should be able to balance out certain priorities for her life, but I'm just thinking of future consequences because you never know what might happen or what type of influences might pop up.
I'm just curious as to what you guys think, would you see her developing in a certain way, maybe going down a colder path, becoming to engulfed into her work, or none of that at all? Also, there is a chance of these things happening regardless of her being on the ship or not.

It's difficult to answer your questions without spoilers. What I can say is that judging from the leaks, everything you've mentioned here has been considered by the writers at Bioware, and they've addressed your concerns in what I personally find to be a satisfying and intelligent way.
I'd be happy to elaborate in a PM for you, as I'm trying to be mindful of forum folks who don't want to be spoiler'd.

Ah, I don't want to be spoiled, but thank you for answering! I'm glad they've considered her new role and what she's doing in the Normandy.
Hell... you can spoil me!!!! Tell me!!!Pinkflu wrote...

Shades of blue and purple all in one palette, Im guessing they also use gradients here and there to make the skin look shiny, not sure if and what textures they use, but her skin isnt as soft as human skin.
If you wish to colour your own Liara drawing or use the colours, open up photoshop or illustrator, and use the drop tool to see the different combinations of colours in each area.
Or for it to be easier for you, hopefuly someone who actually draws liara a lot and successfuly can tell you specific palettes
