Why is this question so important for you? I'm just curious because this question comes up at least once a month.
Not that I'm not tempted, I always thought Liara and my Paragon would make a cute couple. In the end, the Paragon romance with Liara bores me. So I stick with my Renegade, mostly because Jennifer Hale is such a flirt.
Makes LotSB highly amusing. ^^
I agree about Jennifer Hale being more flirty and amusing. The Asure Dialouge had me in stiches. I think why the question intrests me so much, is I'm used to seeing S/S in eastern games but not in western. I did not expect it to be as well done as in an eastern game.

I think some of it, or at least for me, I think that Alli Hillis has better much better chemisty with Jennifer Hale than with Mark Meer.
In Mass Effect 1. Jennifer Hale made the dialoge that leads up to sex scene she sounded like sensual, caring, funny, and even a little curious about it, while Mark Meer sounded like a creepy, desprate, and dirty old man. In the coda toLair of the Shadow Broker Hale and Hillis sound like their in the same room, while Meer and Hillis sounded like they are talking on the phone.
For me Hale and Hillis have a natural and great chemisty while Meer and Hillis just don't have that kind of chemisty. That is just my opinion.
I noticed that too, but Meer delivers the Azure line better. Thats about the only line he does in LOTSB IMO. Sometimes it sounds like he considers his lines a 'chore'

Back on topic: Why is Mshep always most with Tali/Miranda/Ashly.
That is actually something I've been wondering too. I'm male myself and all my Shepards are male and all of them romanced Liara. Never understood the fascination of Ashley or Miranda, well I like Tali a lot, as a character, but she's more like a little sister for my Shep than anything else. Maybe it's simply just that for most men Ash and Miranda are "easy" to like. They're both human females, no weird sci-fi alien things included, and in ME1 Ash is only romancaple character for male Shep, if you don't want to go for Liara. And Miranda ofc, in that tight cat suit of hers and, well... that ass... so maybe that is the only reason for most male gamers. Tali is a nice character so I can understand why some people romance her, and maybe part of it is that helmet and all the mystery it brings, and those hips. And because both genders can romance Liara maybe some just romance Liara with fem Shep and Tali with male Shep, if they're playing with both Shepards, I dunno...
A good example of this is my friend, my only friend who plays mass effects. He went for Ash in ME1 and for Miranda in ME2, and he, for god knows what reason, dislikes Liara.
I mean c'mon, you're palying a sci-fi game and he says that it's abnormal to be with an alien (BSN is missing a facepalm emoticon here) But he's still my friend ofc, I'm just always annoying him on purpose with all the Liara stuff, and by talking about mass effects and Liara in general, serves him right
Hmnn intresting point, I think another possible thing is Miranda's accent. She also had the most pornlike cutscene*Facepalm*
Yes I also think the mystery side of things is half the reasonpeople romance Tali.

I originally played ME2 first (due to not really knowing about the series, I picked it up on the cheap) and did a couple of playthroughs in which I romanced Tali both times, originally was going to pick Miranda but was won over by Tali as the game went on.
After deciding that I really needed to go back and play ME1 as I was hooked on the series, I romanced Liara in all but 1 of my playthroughs, both MShep and Femshep, and picked Ashley one time.
I do plan on going back to ME2 and romancing Jack with my Renegade Shep, but generally, since going back and playing ME1 have always picked Liara (of course).
Agree with Trinity that men may go for Miranda or Ash due to the looks factor but a lot will come down to how people role play their individual Shep's.
Would be interested to see some stats on the romances to see what percentage of players romanced who.
I'm gussing the Stats for ME2 msheppers would most likely go in this order.
1Miranda
2Tali
3Jack
4-Liara

I asked that question myself a couple of times. Well, one things is for sure that there are many more malesheps then female.
EDIT: I have both male and female sheps, both romanced Liara, but I still think Liara romance suits better for femshep and I don't know why. I can't explain. Maybe because asari are all "females" and imagination adds to it and it feels like they're more confortable with female partners?
Maybe your right about the female thing. Maybe another part of it is the ability for a female to have children with an Asari. Imean lets face it, for a male to is not as fascinating. What I mean is an Asari still looks female, so visually a male/asari is not that big of a deal to most mshep players.Maybe for them its practiccly just a third female?
I saw ona youtube video that Hale said; her favorite ME character was Liara.Maybe that helps int he VA
