And it's a million times better then sex with underwear. Or underwear becoming a priority seconds after sex. Like with DA and DA2.

Yeah that was just lame, they could've used a clever camera angle or a blanket instead...But I guess they didn't have time to do something like that in DA2's case...

I liked the scenes in ME1, they were tasteful and a little artistic.

A shame that they scrapped those in ME2. :(

Btw. The packaging of the UK/European version of ME1 says that it contains "one moderate sex scene" and it's rated 12.

I found this about Liara's age on tumblr. I'm no mathamatition but this is alittle errie:

Dusting off my math skills, I gathered the facts.[*]In ME2 after the LotSB she says she’s 108, making her 106 during ME1 (still rounding to 110 for simple calculation purposes)[*]Asari live to be a 1000 years old.[*]so 110/1000
[*]We want to know Liara’s relative human age (x)[*]Shep says humans can live to be about 150 in an ME1 conversation[*]so x/150
110/1000 = x/150 (cross multiply and solve for x), (110x150)/1000= x, 16500/1000 = x, 16.5= xLiara’s estimated human age = 16.5 years old  O_o

16.5 year olds don't have doctorates, and don't spend their time travelling alone in dangerous places researching ancient ruin.

I've been thinking...

In Mass Effect 3, Dr. Liara T'Soni may end up being more dangerous (In the long term) to the Reapers, than even Commander Shepard is...

As it has been said, "The greatest trick that the devil ever pulled. Is convincing people that he does not exist." The Reapers have relied on the element of surprise to commit galactic genocide. But with the resources of The Shadow Broker: Even if Shepard fails.Liara can work in secret to seed all sorts of information about Commander Shepard's Adventures and Legacy. And the "Unknown Threat from Dark Space"

I'm thinking that if it took the Reapers centuries to completly defeat and destroy the Protheans. It may take millenia for them to overcome this Era of Galactic Civilization. Either way you slice it... The Reapers have a loooooooooooong fight on their hands... Image IPB

And you can thank Fox News for that.

Dropped into this thread just to say I've developed a newfound interest/like for Liara. I've always had Ashley as my main LI, but I plan to create a Shepard for the purpose of romancing Liara. I don't know why, and as cliche as it sound, but I find either a Sole Survivor or Ruthless background to be best romance material with Liara. I like my War Hero Boyscout to romance Ashley (and sometime Miranda.)

So yeah, thinking of making something like a Colonist/Ruthless Paragade this week.

About Liara's age. Based on how she's treated plus her independence, I don't think it's accurate to see her as a teenager. One Asari NPC in ME2 was thinking of joining the Eclipse and she was only about 60 at the time. Based on everything with Liara, I'd say she would at least be around 19-20 in human years. Old enough to be independent while still young enough to be treated/viewed as a "child" by her elders.

I hope you don't mean the corset kind of thingy the female elves were wearing?

Don't know about that. Even with only the first of the Reapers attacking earth (seen as more Reapers are still landing) they manage to kill approximately 10 million people in 1 week. And they're doing basically the same to every other major planet out there. Also after a week all but the strongest willed individuals will start becoming indoctrinated. Indoctrinated slaves are as good as dead in my opinion so I think we'd all be surprised of just how fast the Reapers could clear a planet. Oh and lets not forget they turn indoctrinated and dead people into their soldiers so every day the Reaper army grows, meaning the daily death toll should be higher every single day...

am I the only one who witnessed Liara's ME1 explanation of Asari procreation and mating and have been wondering ever since if Shepherd has offspring out of Liara that he doesn't as yet know of ?

Haha, no! I should have been more specific, I meant female Hawke's underwear. It's been a while since I last played it and I tend to remember only the good things.

So I guess we can agree 18-20 is a reasonable equivilant. When I first read the age thing on Tumbler, I felt nausous..

I was wondering that recently as well. It is possible that shepard does/had/ or will have a 'daughter' that he/she dosn't know off.

It is also possible, that Liara dosn't know how to do the 'Genetic sequence ' properly.

Since an Asari can use the melding ability for transferring information as well, it seems logical they can also choose to use melding for procreation or simple pleasure. Liara is more than smart enough to know there's a right time for everything. Have children while just a few years away from a confrontation with the Reapers is definitely a bad descision. So no I highly doubt Shepard has a daughter that he doesn't know about.

Nope. I think mid 20s would be a better equivalent. I always put Liara's human equivalent at 24 - 25 years old.

Why we even have to try to find an equivalent? You can't compare asari's age to human's, they're two completely different species. A year is as long for an asari as it is for a human. She's not like 20 or 25 year old human, she's 108, soon 109 and an asari. I just like to think that she's simply a young adult, because that she is, grown up but not exactly old, at least in the eyes of the older asari. How many 25-year old has a university degree AND have studied protheans or anything else for 50 years = all her/his adulthood, which would be like 7 years for 25-year old human, and there'd be still a huge different between studying something for 7 or 50 years, 25-year old has only lived half of that 50 years.

I just don't get it why we have to try to compare those two things when we simply can't.
