Me too. I was sorta hoping for a return to her ME1 textures, but that's looking very unlikely now.

Plus, it looks like her coloring is back to being Me1-esque (pink lips/freckles)...which is good.

If we're lucky, Bioware will have set up a better in game economy system, so we can by dozens of different masks, hoods, and helmets-- along with armor types and weapons mods. I really don't want my money to be pilled up like it was in ME2.

Nah, you'll have 'harsh enviromental areas' that require a breathing mask or helmet (if you are Tali or Garrus)...just like ME2.  I don't see them adding on helmets and breathing masks for everyone.   Well, and she'd look funny with her light lab-coat armor and a big bulky helmet.

Liara might have just left from an area that required the mask in order to meet of with them....and she hasn't taken it off yet.

Or its because Shepard's a cyborg and Vega's a tank-man.

But in ME2, the reason was because you had people like Miranda, Jack, and Thane, running around in casual clothes, or barely clothed, and they didn't bother to make them space suits.

While everyone in ME3 so far is in armor. Even Ash gets armor.

I actually think that everyone will get helmets except Liara...who will get dat mask. I mean, Liara is wearing armor but it doesn't look as 'armory' as what the others wear, if that makes sense...thus a helmet would look a bit silly with it.

Chris in a thread about breathing helmets being in ME3 that Bioware like those helmets and are sticking to them.

Doesn't bother me what others choose to do in their game, as that is not my Shepard.

I've only done it 3 times I think. The first time was out of fear on my first playthrough, since she popped the question in the second conversation, and I didn't want to commit to anything just yet.

Second time was on my first Femshep run. I wanted to create a drama story about Shepard lying about her feelings about Liara. That she'd tell Liara that she had feelings, but later chooses Kaidan because he's normal. Because, even though she doesn't love him, dating him is considered normal by society. So she breaks Liara's heart. And then Kaidan get's sacrificed on Virmire. So then later, in a ME sequel, she'd finally give in to her love for Liara, and ask for forgiveness.

And the third time was because I recruited her last on my pure renegade playthrough.

I just like the idea of different roleplay opportunities it creates if they allow you to romance her in ME3.

Besides, people change. Example, some people like Ash's new look.

If I may ask, why?

The romance content in LotSB was only available to pre-existing romances. I would've preferred that to continue in ME3.  If someone can enter the franchise at the end, and get just as much romance content as someone who has been loyal to Liara thoughout the trilogy, that just seems a little unfair to me. Now if there is unique and additional scenes/dialogues for a continuing romance, then it won't be as much of a problem for me.

Hah! No, Liara Tree is safe and glowing brightly in my living room again this year... although a few of her purple "freckles" disappeared while in storage. I blame closet gremlins.

Let me put it this way. Combined ME1 with the confrontation, romance dialogue, and romance scene. Then ME2 and LOTSB, with the kiss, picture scene, argument, double kiss, and romance dialogue. Then ME3, where there's lots of romance dialogue, and normal dialogue.

That's way more then some nube playing ME3.

I just hope, when I start ME3, Liara doesn't say "Maybe we should just be friends till the end of the game. Then have sex."
